[The 7th Theory] Survival Writing Contest (Round 1 Begins!)

Description

Dear whomever it may concern, 

We write to invite you to Eggy Oyster 2nd Anniversary Special: [The 7th Theory] Survival Writing Contest. You have one week, starting from the 13th of December, to accept the invitation by leaving your interest and identification below in the discussion box. The contest itself will commence on the 21st of December and will have a total of 7 rounds. In each round, we will provide you with one trailer as a prompt for you to base your story on and one week for you to complete and submit your fiction. The applications will then be evaluated and you may choose to want a copy of the marked rubric. Those who succeed will then move on to the next round. The respective victor of each round will get an advantage over other competitors, including a prize amount of Karma points that can only be collected if you make it to and win the final round. If it so happens that a participant must drop out of the competition at any point, any Karma points they may have accumulated cannot be transferred to other competitors and are thus deemed invalid.

This is a great concept. I've always been a fan of your trailers. Too bad I just found out about it now! It would've been fun to join.

Chapter 5: Unfortunately I'm also going to have to drop out. With the holidays taking up all of my time during my two days off and then family problems coming up over the last week, I haven't had time to sit down and write much. Which really because I was super pumped because of the trailer ;A; Life, can't you leave me alone for a while? =A= Well hopefully no more people have problems and you get more entries ^^. Good luck!

As much as I hate to say it but I'm gonna pull out of the competition. I thought I could get it done but I've been working fourteen hour shifts and I'm only halfway done. So I just wanna wish everyone else good luck !

I really wanna do this competition but it's gotten a bit rough. I've never been one to push out stories within a week. It usually takes me a couple of weeks to get ideas, edit, edit, and edit some more. It also doesn't help that Christmas was last weekend and that whole weekend took up my time. I hope I won't have to pull out but I'm really trying to get my story done while working.
Praying that everyone else isn't having a hard time as I am.

Chapter 5: whoaaa...the trailer for the round one is pretty and very interisting. I wonder what kind of story would they make. I can't wait to read when it done. I want to join but too bad, I'm too late since I haven't been on AFF since last two weeks because I had my test in back to back and very busy. huhu...
