A CHERUB STORYLINE

I was always threatened different.

I never knew what it was to be normal, still I yearned to be so.

The night was a storm full night, powerful with no mercy, it was wild just as the nature around the little tree house. A woman’s scream could be heard through the forest, startling everyone in it.

“Don’t you worry my beloved wife, you are strong, just as our son, keep pushing!” The man tried to convince the screaming woman beside him, trying to suppress his worry. “Promise me, promise me Daehwan, please – keep him safe” “Please no! Don’t leave me!  I promise, just don’t leave me” Daehwan cried out looking down at his dying wife.  

Just as he thought all hope had run out, a cry of a baby could be heard. The hair dark as the night, the small fingers reaching out and the fierce brown orbs looking up at him. Father and son, both starring at each other.

“I will protect you from the dangerous world, I will teach you the meaning of life, the meaning of being you… my son” a somehow magical wind swept through the house.

“I will tame the lion in you”
