“What the hell is Donghae’s mom doing here?” Hana whispered to herself as she gulped nervously. She looked around her a bit. ‘This is a café, not a luxury restaurant, and it doesn’t even look luxurious. But why does she come here?’ she thought, didn’t expect that the people as rich as them would come to this simple, ordinary café. 

Taking a deep breath, she finally had a little courage to turn her head around a bit to find out where the rich women sat and quickly looked ahead back once she found they were sitting at the table next to the table she was standing at, her back facing them. She breathed in and out repeatedly, trying to calm herself down. Once she found herself calm down a little, she walked away from the table (particularly the rich women) and headed towards the counter while pretending looking on her left, the opposite way of where Donghae’s mom was – she didn’t want the old woman to see her or else her secret would be revealed and in the end, she would have to pay back 50 million won cash to Donghae according to the contract she had signed with him. Where would she get that much money if that happened?

“Hana-sshi, can you please bring these orders to the table?” Yuri, the owner of the cafe, held out a tray containing four cups of cappuccino and four plates of a piece of tiramisu as she pointed at a certain table. Hana looked at where the latter pointed at and gulped hard at the fact that Yuri was pointing at the table where Donghae’s mom and her friends were sitting.

“Hana-sshi?” Yuri called when she found Hana spacing out. “Are you okay?” she asked in concern at the latter’s unusual antics.

“Uhh, I’m okay. But...wait for a sec,” Hana said and rushed into the kitchen where an employee named Baekhyun was and grabbed the cap from his head.

“What the—“

“Lend me for a bit,” Hana grinned briefly at him and threw the cap on her head then rushed to another employee named Minah who was busy making a drink.

“Minah-ah, your glasses, please?” Hana grinned overly wide at her and before Minah could reply, Hana already pulled the glasses off the latter's face, making her blink questioningly. Wearing the glasses, Hana rushed to Yuri who was waiting and looking at her weirdly. Hana only grinned at the big boss as she took the tray from her hand.

She fixed the cap and made sure that it was enough to cover half of her face. Taking a deep breath, she started walking nervously to the table where Donghae’s mom and her friends were sitting at. She kept praying in her mind that Donghae’s mom wouldn’t notice or recognize her. Once she reached the table, she noticed all the women looking up at her and that already made her heart stop. But unfortunately it lasted only for a brief second before they started chatting again as Hana started serving the foods and drinks to their table with her slightly trembling hands. She took a quick glance at Donghae’s mom and found she didn’t even pay attention to her and was happily chatting with her friends and she couldn’t be more relieved than that. But suddenly their eyes met and at that very moment, she felt the world around her stop.

“Thank you,” Mrs Lee said with a small smile to her before she continued chatting with her friends back.

Hana awkwardly bowed in reply and didn’t wait a second to walk away from there. Usually she would say something like ‘enjoy your food’ to customers before she left. But not this time. She didn’t want to risk herself.

“What’s wrong with you?” Minah and Baekhyun asked in unison as Hana entered the kitchen and rubbed her chest up and down while heaving sighs of relief.

“Nothing,” she smiled awkwardly at them and returned their things that she borrowed from them earlier.

“You seemed like you were disguising yourself just now. Did you perhaps hide from some customer?” Minah asked.

“Yeah. There’s a customer that I shouldn’t have met outside,” Hana replied honestly as she knew the latter wouldn’t stop asking her if she didn’t answer her properly.

“I won’t ask you who but why didn’t you tell us earlier? One of us could replace you, though,” Baekhyun said and Minah nodded in agreement.

“It’s okay. I don’t want to burden you guys,” Hana said.

“Where’s Hana?” Yuri asked as she entered the kitchen. “What are you doing here?” she looked at Hana questioningly once she found her there.

“Well...I thought I wanna help them a bit,” Hana gave an excuse to prevent herself from being nagged by the big boss.

“There are many customers outside. Please take their orders.” Since it was lunch time, of course there were many customers at this hour. And having only three waiters/waitresses including Hana for today only made them busier.

“Yes, boss!” Hana playfully saluted and all of them including Yuri couldn't help but chuckle at her antics. As she was about to walk away from the kitchen, suddenly she remembered something which made her snatch the cap and glasses from Baekhyun and Minah back.

“I’ll return it later!” Hana said to them and walked out of the kitchen to take customers’ orders. She needed to do her job no matter what and she needed to disguise herself until the rich ahjummas leave.

After about 30 minutes serving customers, she noticed the rich ahjummas leaving the café. ‘Finally,’ she thought in relief. Only now she could breathe like normally back. She continued doing her job when suddenly she noticed a brown leather wallet on the floor. She reached down for it then looked around in case she could find the owner of the wallet; the wallet seemed to be for men so she guessed the customer was a man. And that was when her eyes caught a tall man heading out of the café. Guessing that the person was the owner of the wallet, she immediately ran towards him.

“Excuse me, sir!” she called out but the man didn’t respond to her as he had stepped out of the café. She fastened her steps and once she was out of the café, she called out to him again and this time, he turned around.

“Yes?” he asked, looking at her in question. The man had a black hair, fair skin, doe-like eyes and he was wearing a suit. He was quite handsome in her eyes.

“Is this yours?” she asked, showing him the wallet she just found.

“Oh...yeah! I must’ve left it inside. Thank you,” he smiled gratefully at Hana as he took the wallet that was handed to him.

“No problem.” Hana couldn’t help but smile wide at the fact that she just helped someone. She cluelessly eyed the man opening his wallet and taking out some money and her eyes widened when he suddenly handed over the money to her.

“Please take this as a thank you from me,” he said, smiling.

She was flustered. “No. It’s okay. I’m sincerely helping you,” she said, waving her hands off at the money that he was still holding out to her. But still, the man insisted on giving her the money and she was stubborn enough to take the money and in the end, the man gave up.

“Well, if you said so...” he said disappointedly as he shoved the money back into his wallet which seemed expensive. “Since you don’t want to take the money, mind to tell me your name at least? By the way, I’m Kyuhyun. Cho Kyuhyun.” He held out his hand in front of her for a handshake and she immediately took his offered hand and shook it lightly.

“I’m Choi Hana. Just call me Hana,” she replied with a bright smile.

“Choi Hana,” he repeated softly. “What a beautiful name,” he said, flashing her his charming smile. His compliment made her blush a little. He glanced at his watch. “Hana-sshi, I think I’ve to go now. Nice to meet you, anyway.” He wav
