Seung Hyun pov : 

''  Eomma ! Where are you ? '' I yelled as I entered our house . It's a habit that I had since I was 6 years old . Whenever I walk into the house the first thing I ask for is my mother . Even if I hated all women in this planet , mom is the only woman I can never hate . 

'' Seung Hyun-ah ! I am in the kitchen son  '' she yelled back 

I went to the kitchen and she was there cooking something '' What brought you here ? '' she asked 

'' Eomma ! Must there be a reason for me to come home ? aren't you happy to see me ? '' I whined like a little child 

'' But you're always here ! I am afraid your wife would misunderstand '' oh yeah , she's right . Ever since we came back from our so-called honeymoon , if I didn't go walking I would come here . 

'' Don't worry about that '' I said setting down 

''  How is she by the way ? She didn't look fine that night ? is something wrong with you two ? are you mistreating her ? '' and she bombarded me with her question but hey ... I am her son she should be asking about me first ! 

'' Why do you care about her so much ? huh ? I am your son you should ask if I was okay or not first !  '' I know I was acting like a child but I didn't care 

'' Stop whining like children , I am just worried about her and-'' she stopped 

'' And what ? '' 

''  You know with everything that what happened with you , I am afraid you're not so nice to her '' she explained and I went silent and when I was about to talk my phone ringed .

It was Mi Sun that girl started to get on my nerves but like usual , I just declined . 

'' Answer you phone '' my mother absently said 

'' It's not important '' and just as I said that it ringed again and unfortunately my mother took a look at who was calling 

'' Yah ! Choi Seung Hyun, what's your matter with that girl ? Didn't you get enough of her ! Did you forget what she did ! '' she was angrily screaming at me and she was right . I mean after how I became because of her my mother hated her even more . 

'' I didn't ! She just keeps on calling me but I am not answering ! She's just someone I knew in the past that's all '' I defended myself 

'' Please Seung Hyun , stay away from that girl . I don't want you to get hurt again '' she said caressing my cheek and I nodded 

'' Are you hungry ? '' and that's when I remembered that I haven't eaten anything since the morning . 

And in a matter of minutes, the table was full with food but I only ate the Bibimbap and the Kimchi stew . They were delicious like always . Thankfully my mother didn't talk about that topic again or at least for a while 

'' How are things with Ji Hyun ? '' she asked looking at me while I ate

''  Um ... good '' I replied avoiding her eyes 

'' Didn't I told you not to lie to me ? '' I forgot that she has the ability to know if I was lying or not 

I sighed '' How do you think ? you forced me to marry her while you know very well that I can't love or trust anyone ''

'' But for how long are going to be like this ? Ji Hyun is a nice girl and I've known her and her family for years now and I am sure she's the right one for you or I wouldn't approve this marriage '' she argued 

'' But mom , don't you think that I don't know that she's nice ? '' I stopped eating and took a deep breath ''  I just can't . I am so afraid that she'll leave me and she'll hurt me . I don't want to get through this again . '' 

'' She'll leave you if you continued being cold to her Seung Hyun . No matter what she feels and what she can handle if you didn't treat her right she'll leave '' she nicely said 

'' So what should I do ? I am always fighting with myself , I am so lost eomma '' 

'' Just try to be nice to her and open up your heart . Everything else will just find its way '' she said caressing my cheek again .

I didn't reply and decided to leave but before I didn't I asked something from my mother '' Can you please pack some of the stew and bibimbap for me ? '' Actually , they weren't for me . They were for Ji Hyun . 

After taking the food , I returned home but during the ride back what my mother said to me kept repeating in my head '' Ji Hyun is different Seung Hyun , I am sure you'll know that . Please don't lose her , we all love her '' and in that moment I wished one thing ... 

I wished I met Ji Hyun first ... 

When I got back home , I was really surprised when I heard someone playing guitar . I put the food in the kitchen and went upstairs but instead of going to my room , I just sat on the stairs and laid my back on the wall . She was playing greatly , she must have learned how to for a long time to be that good . The pieces she kept playing were somehow ... sad . Why would she play sad song ? is it because of how we live ? or maybe she's hiding something 

I closed my eyes and kept listening to her but she stopped after awhile . I wanted to go so she won't see me but I just felt lazy . I could sense her getting closer to me and I could tell that she wasn't expecting me to be at home looking at what she asked me but I ignored her . I honestly don't know why I did that but I just wanted to be alone . I know she was angry but I didn't anything about it . 

Just when I stood to go to my office my phone buzzed . 

'' Please stop ignoring me and let's talk ! I really need to see you '' 

I guess it was time to meet her and see what she wanted . 

'' Fine . Meet me at the Han river in 30 minutes '' I typed back a message . I reall
