Maybe he didn't mean anything special by it, just exactly what he said. He likes me. He must be saying that what little he knows about me, he likes. It must have just come out wrong, like when I said I liked his face. Maybe he was trying to do the whole 'complimenting them' thing too. If that's true, then that must mean he wants to be friends. I couldn' help but simle at that thought, and I saw his face melting into a beautiful smile, returning it. Encouraged by that, and thinking about how my parents said I need to work on communicating more as well as socializing, I decided to let him know what I thought about him as well.

"I like you too."

I never believed my first boyfriend would be the one. I had no grand delusions about an all consuming love or an epic romance laced with passionate kisses where I get swept off my feet, literally. I did believe that I would actually know the guy, though, like him romantically. I never once thought I would accidentally wind up with one, then be unable to break up with him because I'm too non-confrontational.

But here I am, currently in a relationship with Kai, and I have no idea what to do about it, if I should do anything at all.

Thoughts:

I finally managed to finish this book. It's so cute and fluffy at the same time. This book made me wish that I was suddenly confessed to and then getting an amazing boyfriend like Kai. I think why I really liked reading this is because of how Kai was portrayed. Usually, he would be getting the whole playboy or bad boy concept; basically a jerk. However, he was portrayed as a smart, patient, loving, and understanding boyfriend who was with her through thick and thick. Read it now! :)
