The clock was ticking past midnight when he arrived in Korea, but the city was even more alive at night than in the day. If he listened closely, he could hear the chatter of friends, the gunshot of outlaws, and the laughter behind his joy. He could say today was a good day.

Twenty years ago, Sehun would have never thought to be married to Byun Baekhyun's girl. He couldn't help but wear a smug smirk which served to compliment his black suit that night. China was good, America had been great, but nothing could compare with his home. He had taken the first flight back to South Korea for his grandmother's funeral. When he should have been in remorse, he was feeling better than ever. Baekhyun never deserved her to begin with. He would never be good enough for Park Insook, but Sehun was superior.

He checked himself in the little mirror inside the visor of his dashing new car. He made sure his hair was still nicely parted above his forehead. He brushed a loose strand of his bangs that managed to slip out of the gel. He sure missed his parents, better yet he couldn't wait to see how much of a woman Insook had become; what kind of man had Baekhyun grown into. Excitement coursed his mind and body as he straightened his black tie before exiting the car.

“Sehun!” His mother exclaimed as soon as he entered which quickly caught the attention of his relatives, close friends, and everyone else besides her.

He embraced her as she ran towards him, but his eyes spotted Insook immediately. Her head leaned against Baekhyun as she cried her heart out. When did they become so close?

“When did you get back?” his mother asked him bringing his attention back. “You should have called. I would have sent people to pick you up from the airport.” She pulled her son back and straightened his already perfect tie so she could admire him from afar. She missed him as much as he missed her. Mrs. Oh couldn't help but admire how well her son had grown over the past years. Just yesterday, it seemed as if she was just sending the little boy off to school in America in spite of the news. That day she had cried tears of sorrow for her boy. Today, he had come back a handsome young man. And, she couldn't help, but cry
