Please Let Me Win

Description

Taekwoon is a writer and Hakyeon is his villian. The only issue: Hakyeon very much exists, and he's sick and tired of losing the Sanghyuk, the spineless prince that Taekwoon has decided is the protagonist. So Hakyeon decides it's high time to convince Taekwoon he's real, because goddamnit he has a kingdom to dominate and he's done with letting some author thwart his plotting.

Foreword

Hey guys! This story is a little short compared to my usual one shots. That's because it's for THE RABBIT HOLE writing competition and the rule is 1000-4000 words.

It's not a bad competition. The rules are a little odd, and might not be to everyone's taste, but I'd definitely encourage you to check it out! It's a good way to practice writing quickly.

Anyway, with that aside, I really hope you enjoy Please Let Me Win!

That being said, I used the third prompt (loosely, 'fight for the fairytale because it exists'). So I decided, what if instead of a romantic fairytale love story, one of my characters was legitimately a part of a fairytale, and all he wants is for the writer of the fairytale to realize he exists goddamnit? And then Please Let Me Win was born.

Such an original story idea! This is written really well, but I agree that the ending felt a little abrupt. I appreciate the realistic twist on it, but I wanted Hakyeon's success!! Hahahaha good work with the story.

Chapter 1: honestly this was such a hilarious read xD you have a really great knack for writing and the narration was just amazing lolol
i loved this from start to finish and though hakyeon was supposed to be the villain we all hate, he was actually genuinely likable, not to mention that he actually showed every now and then that he did have a heart such as when he kept his skeleton butler's room designs in order to not upset him ; u ; though i did want to read more, i think that extending this would hurt the flow ;; idk um it was a really fab read and the ending was somewhat abrupt to me but i think that this is what it is and the way you ended it was the more suitable than any other ending that i can think of~
that being said, would it be very stupid if i told you that i didnt completely understand the ending? >3< does it mean that hakyeon believes he hallucinated?

OH AND OMG CAN I JUST SAY THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HOW YOU NORMALISED THE FAIRYTALE WORLD XD I WAS CRACKING UP OVER THE FACT THAT SOMEONE SHOWED UP FROM THE DRUID /EMBASSY/ AND OMG WHEN HAKYEON COULDNT HEAR TAEKWOON BECAUSE HE HADNT GONE PREMIUM XDD ABSOLUTE GOLD HAHA YOURE WONDERFUL
