When He Loses Control

Description

Most of the time, Jeongmin is just a regular misfit living with his equally displaced group of friends.  Most of the time, he's just fine with everything they do and their less than pristine way of life.  But every now and then, Jeongmin loses control and it's up to his friends to help him pick up the pieces.

Foreword

This is a part of my oneshot collection Two Dozen and One Tales.  They're a separate collection of oneshots about different groups, inspired by many different and enticing prompts.  Please feel free to check it out if you're interested.

The prompt it is based off of is: "The best place in the world is in the arms of someone who will not only hold you at your best, but will pick you up and hug you tight at your weakest moment."

It is simultaneously my first Boyfriend fic and my first hurt/comfort fic.  I blame kaseyslove for the former, though I have no idea why I was prompted to write the latter.  haha  Regardless, I hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1: I felt Jeongmin's pain, and wanted to hug to until he wasn't sad anymore. I was so curious about what kind of jobs they had, and you answered some of that later on. I would like to see more of this universe to understand why they were in this situation in the first place, but this was a really nice one shot. I love reading Boyfriend stories♡.

Chapter 1: Ugh. I had a slight lump in my throat throughout the latter parts of this, not gonna lie. I can feel the despair and yet the reasoning behind his 'episode' is sound, and Hyunseong being such a steady place for him in the aftermath is so nice. Very touching, melancholic read.
