Description
In which Lee Hayi is a chief editor in a magazine firm, sick of being love sick, and most likely getting type II diabetes from eating the cookies that have been placed on her desk every day for months without fail. From an anonymous sender. Valentine's day is approaching and she's busy with a tonne of work - reviewing and writing articles all day. She tells herself that she'll just enjoy Black Day in April with a huge bowl of jjajangmyeon. Perks of being single? Or maybe not-

This piece was actually written for a competition in this RP i'm in lol. they had 3 prompts for the competition and i decided to meld all three. I hope you guys will like it!
Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. I tried to make it seem as realistic as possible but there are several discrepancies (e.g. Hara & Hayi couldn't have been in the same highschool cos age differences xD), especially since I don't live in Korea lmao. However I do hope you'll appreciate the effort put in to make it as an indulging read as possible.
Foreword
Memories are a pain. Why is the brain so good at storing those useless pieces of information, anyway? I threw the cookie's wrapper down the disposal chute - even the tiny socks that decorated it were reminding me of him. What was it with me that even such a small thing could act as a retrieval cue, triggering my long term memory to bring me back to my birthday when he bought me a pair of socks, knowing I always lost mine. I could clearly recall the way he would reprimand me for using my sneakers without any socks on. Even though I always teased that he had smellier feet- there my thoughts went again, shooting off tanget to scavenge for all the places where he lurked in the little lobes in my skull. I opened up a document and immersed myself into it. That seemed to be the only way to get him off my mind lately.
