Incheon International Airport – 7.15 AM

After picking up her luggage, Lexi headed to the station and took the airport bus. The ride was long enough for her to wrap up her head around what’s been going on: After two years of working hard, saving and yearning, she finally set foot in the land of her dreams. This was the fresh start she has been longing for. In less than an hour, she found herself in the soul city; everything around her seemed rushed, but she was carefree, all she could think about was to live like there was no tomorrow, at least until the rush of the city would catch up with her; which was inevitable knowing her anxious state of mind.

Lexi managed to secure herself a scholarship in English studies and joined an external dormitory which was within walking distance to her university, and that was the perk of it. The disadvantage was that the dorm was mixed, possibly creating a distraction in the future; although that was the last thing on Lexi’s mind, as love was one of the main factors that made her eager to leave everything behind and start all over, and this time she vowed to choose herself.
