Brace yourself for longness...

Life for a human is not as it had once been. Instead of being the dominant species of Earth, there is a new steadily growing group of those that present themselves only as Chosen. The Chosen had once lived peacefully among the humans, however, technology began to advance. The humans started expecting something off about them and began undergoing harsh testing, practically torturing the Chosen to where they were begging just for death. The humans treated them like they were inhuman, even going as far as considering them wild, untamable animals. Many Chosen were locked away in high security facilities, torn from their loved ones to live in a constant state of drugs that kept them weak and unable to escape.

This made the Chosen that had not been caught enraged at the conditions of their fellow species, and their hatred grew with each move the humans made to restrict them from being able to rise up against them. The Chosen knew the truth. The humans were scared because they knew that, when they could not hide behind the advanced technology that had been made against them, they would be overpowered.

Several Chosen decided to rise up against the humans and were able to worm their way into the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary was a safe haven for the humans, all of whom were the leaders of the movement to keep the Chosen under their control and were definitely the most hated of all of the humans by the Chosen.

What happened next was aroused completely from pure and raw rage. Once the insiders reached the Sanctuary, Chosen that would be later honored as Heroes, they released their fellow Chosen from the harsh grips of the Sanctuary. They could have stopped at freeing their kind, however after so many years of building resentment from the suffering their people had had to endure, the Chosen turned the tables.

In one sharp move, the Chosen took over and decided to get revenge on the humans. Even those that had not even been aware of the existence of the Chosen - as the Sanctuary had hidden the existence, and further, the treatment of the Chosen from a decent amount of society - were punished.

The Chosen enslaved the humans, the Heroes demolishing the once existing human world and creating a new one. As hard as most humans tried to resist, masses began to be forced under the control of Chosen, who ruled them mercilessly.Life for a human is not as it had once been. Foreword

So... After that novel of just a description.... Dear readers, I am unfortuantely not done just yet. Heh, I hope there's not a rule against rambling or I'm in trouble... I wasn't sure to put this in a chapter or what, but here's a bit of a description of New Earth. And seeing how the character box does not leave much room for things, there's some character description as well.

Eden - The Capitol of New Earth. Restricted to only Heroes and the most trusted humans on the planet to serve them. Eden is the most protected and guarded city in the world. It is believed impossible to get in without a clearance from a Hero themselves. While all humans are looked down on as lower beings, the slaves of the Heroes receive the best treatment. They normally don't last long however, as the Heroes become suspicious of them easily, and most are put to death, while others are sent to Seventh Circle.

The Garden - Surrounds Eden. Houses the higher class of Chosen who are friends or allies of Heroes. The Garden is enclosed all around so that no one can get into the Garden, and by extension, Eden, unless the Chosen allow them to. Some Chosen are allowed to enter Eden, however their slaves are not allowed to accompany them. Instead, Eden has a select group of slaves that tends to the guests of the Heroes. The humans that live in the Garden do not receive as fair conditions, however they are trusted much longer and most live with their masters for the rest of their lives.

The City - A loose term to cover a large area of the globe. Chosen that live in the City have no relation to those that live in the Garden or Eden. They are still considered on the higher end of the hierarchy, as many own multiple slaves. All Chosen, except Heroes who have an elevated status, are treated equally. However, those that live in the City are known to own several slaves. Those that live in the City are known for their spoiled and luxurious lifestyle as - while the lives of the inhabitants of the Garden and Eden are kept hidden - the lives of the Chosen in the city were well-known, making many take on the image of celebrities. Humans often referred to them derogatorily as Princes or Princesses as they flaunt the fact their every whim is catered to.

The Gates - Known to be less extravagant than the Chosen that live in the City, those that live in the Gates live in small, posh neighborhoods where families own one slave to themselves. They tend to be seen as the middle class and are often supervised heavily by the other Chosen as they tend to develop a bond towards their personal slave as though they were family This is intolerable by Eden, and as such, there are constant checks by a regulated police force to make sure that the humans stay in line. As such, conditions for humans in the Gates may vary on the strictness of the police force of the neighborhood. Chosen that are found to violate the rules set by Eden, however, are sent to the Heroes for judgment. As this has never happened, the consequences for a Chosen are unknown.

The Slums - The poorest of Chosen live here. While Eden encourages equality of all Chosen, this does not apply so much to those that live in the Slums. As such, they have no regulation or security whatsoever. Because of this, their slaves are hard to keep submissive when there is not much to stop them from escaping. Because of this, slaves in the Slums are brutally beaten into obedience, staying with their masters for fear of the consequences of being punished.

The Ruins - The few stragglers that have not been captured and forced into slavery live in the Ruins, the site of the once-existing Sanctuary. They barely survive off the land, however they are determined to keep their freedom and eventually free the rest of the humans of Earth. They are all part of the New Generation, who support the idea of equality between Chosen and humans.

Seventh Circle - The infamous facility is known to incarcerate all slaves that break the rules and deserve punishment worse than death. Seventh Circle is the only once-human building remaining in use after the creation of New Earth. It was converted from an experimentation lab that had once tortured the Chosen into a prison made especially to torture the most rebellious of humans.

Main Characters:

Park Jungsu (Leeteuk) :

Human. An inhabitant of the Ruins. One of the leaders of the New Generation. Considered Angelic in nature and appearance. Known for his selflessness and calm logic. He is very caring and loving to those he trusts.

Lee Donghae:

Human. Inhabitant of the Ruins. Follows under Leeteuk's command. Considered to be very youthful - to the point of being child-like in both nature and appearance. Known for his sweetness and willingness to protect those that matter to him. He is very innocent and is not really aware of what exactly he is getting into.

Kim Heechul -

Chosen. Inhabitant of the City. The eldest of all of the children of the wealthy Kim family. Is known for his high reputation and prissiness, his appearance being that of a flower. He is deep down not so cold hearted as he appears.

Lee Sungmin -

Slave. Inhabitant of Eden. A new servant to the Heroes. Is known for his cuteness in both nature and appearance. He, in the face of his masters, is very calm and collected for being in such a dangerous position.
