Somehow, Kyungsoo knows that transferring to Korea is not the best choice—especially after a girl crashes onto his car in the middle of the night. She was a pretty little thing. A bit over twenty, but young nonetheless—very young, in fact, to be endangering her life by speeding while she was intoxicated. Just then, Kyungsoo wonders how foolish and ungrateful the girl can get.

“We avoid risks in life, so we can make it to death safely.”

Kyungsoo flinched. “Maybe,” he replied, fingers instinctively rubbing against his thigh. “But maybe that’s not the case. Maybe people just wanna extend their lifeline as long as they could.”

Seyeon chuckled, the back of her head hitting the headrest. “Why bother living longer when you are trapped inside the bubble of safety?”
