The next day…

The girls were in the dressing room and had time to spare before having to go on set. They were more nervous about shooting than Sooyoung, while the other 3 were fidgeting Sooyoung sat in her make up chair staring lifelessly. The girls saw this and decided it would be best for her to do something.
Jess: Come on, let’s go greet some of the staff and Lee Seung Gi .
Sunny: Sooyoung? Are you ok?
Soo: Yes I’m fine – she gave them a fake smile
The girls had finished greeting everyone and Sooyoung seemed to momentarily forgot that Siwon was there and was just chatting away with the girls. They turned the corner of the hallow hallway and were met by none other than the Super Junior member, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Donghae. They all stared at each other as their bodies froze until Sunny and Tiffany decided to bow
Sunny/Tiffany: Hi Opppas! – causing the other 3 members (Leeteuk, Dong and Eun) to bow. Only Sooyoung and Siwon were unable to move as their eyes lay fixed on each other until Sooyoung quickly looked at the other Super Junior members. The 6 other people who were in the awkward position again and were speechless until Leeteuk spoke
Leeteuk: Erm.. we have to go back to the dressing room, we’ll see you girls on set – he smiled politely
Jess: Yes oppa us too, see you soon. They bowed again this time Sooyoung too, and walked ahead. Sooyoung kept her eyes forward but when she walked past Siwon she could from the corner of her eye how he was staring at her immensely, they were only centimetres apart and she could feel her breathing getting faster. Siwon kept his eyes on him until she was gone from sight. He let out a huge sigh
*Sooyoung ah. Why’d you have to look so pretty?! I miss not being able to see that beautiful smile of yours and those bright eyes, arrghhhh!* he thought.
Leeteuk: Are you ok?
Siwon: Yeah I will be ok – he said sounding defeated
Eun: Are you sure?
Siwon: I just… God seeing her.. I miss her so much, I’m such an idiot.
Dong: You are, but you still have a chance to win her back – he couldn’t help but insult him at the same time as consoling him
Siwon: You think? – he said getting his hopes up
Leeteuk: As long as you are sincere and tell her honestly how you feel, it’ll all work out – he said half-heartedly. He wanted to remain positive for .

Back in SNSD dressing room.
Jess: Omo, I wasn’t expecting to see them
Sunny: Yea, me too.  – Tiffany nodded in agreement.
Sooyoung remained quiet as her emotion came rushing back. She loved him. She still does but she was still annoyed at what he had done, but she knew her love for him was greater. *Maybe it’s too late* she thought. Suddenly they were interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.
Staff: If SNSD are ready, it’s time to start filming:
All of them: yes, we understand. They all one by one approached Sooyoung who now looked like she was about to collapse.
Sunny: Are you ready? Sooyoung nodded
Tiffany grabbed her hands: We’re here for you ok? – Jessica cupped her face and pulled a cute face
Jess: We’re right beside you if you need us, now lets get going.

On set
Luckily for Sooyoung she was sat in the row in front of Siwon and didn’t have to worry about making eye contact. She was sat in the middle of her row while Siwon was sat in the left corner of his. He on other hand had a clear view of Sooyoung and couldn’t help but stare at her.

LSG(Lee Seung Gi):Hello and welcome to Strong Heart. This is our Christmas Special Episode! We have our amazing guests! … Super Junior, Kim So Eun, Baek Ji Young and  SNSD (applause)
The guests each introduced themselves and filming was going smoothly the guess and audience were laughing and smiling. But time had come for Lee Seungi Gi to question the celebrities about their personal life, that meant their love life mainly.
LSG: SNSD! ..One of Asia’s biggest stars! You have the single ‘the boys’ and there is that one line        we bring the boys out, so tell me.. Do any of you bring the boys out? - There was a second of silence which was broken by the uproar in laughter. He knew the joke was lame then added to the laughter by saying - ‘Was it that bad?’ … So tell me are any of currently dating? Come on tell us, we won’t tell anyone’ which made the audience and guest laugh more. He looked at one of the members and suddenly asked Sooyoung.
LSG: So Sooyoung sshi, what about you, do you have anyone special this Christmas or anyone in mind then? – he smiled not knowing the current situation. The SNSD members and Super Junior members were taken aback by the comment and were sitting the edge of their seats. Siwon was about to fall of his as he awaited his answer. LSG noticed this and made a witty remark
LSG: It seems like I’m not the only one interested in this-  causing the members to give a nervous laugh.
Sunny who was sat next to Sooyoung looked at her face, seeing if it was asking for help, she was ready to save Sooyoung from answering the question and so were the other members. They watched her closely…then she gave a smile. It was enough indication than if she had actually spoken. Each of them sat back and waited for Sooyoung to answer their hearts beating loudly they thought the audience would hear due to their mics. It felt like the silence was a lifetime, then she finally spoke
Sooyoung: Ermm.. nope none of us are dating, and I think some of the members have crushes but then again who doesn’t, right LSG? –she said wittingly.
LSG: Are you avoiding the question by turning it to me…. Nicely done! – he said laughing.
LSG: But Sooyoung sshi there are rumours that you are dating someone, from your own company, rumours say it’s Siwon sshi.
That comment caught her of guard, like someone had just er punched her. opened but no words came out. The members were at a panic but had to remain calm. Siwon who had been listening and watching her closely was about to die in anticipation, waiting for to answer felt like time had stopped. Sooyoung could feel all eyes on her, even Siwon’s, she looked over her shoulder ever so slightly and could see from the corner of her eye his nervous face.  Jessica Tiffany and Sunny were looking at each other back and forth exchanging eye contact like each blink was morse code. They decided to remain silent and wait for her answer.
Sooyoung: No, we’re not dating – it was true though they WERE but now they weren’t. ‘I guess when you’re in this industry when you are seen with someone rumours can be spread. But I think it’s because we’re in the same company so people see us together frequently.’ She answered so cooly
LSG: Apparently you guys have been dating a while though. – The guest gasped. Sooyoung remained calm and laughed slightly.
Soo: We’re too busy for that. – she said bluntly. Her words hit Siwon’s heart like a knife. She knew that the comment was aimed right at him for what he had previously said. He felt so guilty.
*Sooyoung.. I’m so sorry for hurting you.* he thought. His heart hurt when he knew how much pain he caused Sooyoung.
LSG: Well I hope you guys are given time as your gift – he joked trying to soften the mood, which created some laughter.
Filming had stopped so that the guests and staff could take a break before the second half of filming. Sooyoung had gone to the toilet and Siwon saw this and decided to follow her. She walked steadily before she felt someone grab her hands pulling her towards them. Her hands were on his chest to stop her from being too close to his face, but it was too late they were only inches apart. She could feel his warm breathing on her face which caused her to gulp. His right hand were around her back. He wanted to kiss her so badly, her face was flawless, he eyes made him weak as he could see the emotions flaring.
Siwon: Sooyoung ah – he said softly. She had now let her arm dangle at the side, she was staring at him but this time it was fierce.
Soo: Siwon… - the hairs on his body raised at the sound of her voice
Siwon: ye.. yes?
Soo: Why are you still holding me? – she said coldly. ‘I’m not yours too hold anymore.’ Siwon was shocked by the comment, but he knew she was just angry.
Siwon: I don’t want to let you go. – he said firmly.
Soo: You don’t have that option anymore. You gave that right up the… - she was interrupted by Siwon’s serious tone.
Siwon: I love you Sooyoung. I was an idiot. – he said it with all sincerity. Sooyoung’s seriousness faded and she shocked at his sudden confession. ‘ Please, give me another chance. I’ll do whatever it takes.’ He pleaded. Sooyoung didn’t know how to feel, these were the words she wanted Siwon to say, but she didn’t know if he honestly meant it. She wanted to remain cool as if unaffected by what he had just said.
Soo: Actions speak louder than words Siwon.
He looked at her and slowly released his grip. Sooyoung was actually surprised. He said nothing. Sooyoung saw this and softly spoke, just enough for him to hear.  
Soo: I guess you’re all talk. – he comment was short but enough to crush Siwon’s feelings. 
Staff: Erm.. Guys we have to start filming.  – Sooyoung nodded and slowly followed, gently brushing Siwon’s shoulder as she walked past. She felt a tear about to fall but quickly wiped it away, giving a small sniff. She didn’t expect Siwon to let her go so easily, she was so saddened by his weak attempt.
*How could he let me go so easily? I really thought he would put up more of a fight. I guess it truly is over.* she thought.
 She patted her cheeks and took a deep breath and re set, avoiding eye contact with her members not wanting her teary eyes to be noticed.
Siwon had watched Sooyoung walk back to set. He looked closely at the little actions she was doing from behind, he knew she was crying he wanted to hug her so badly but he knew it wasn’t the right time. Not yet.
*Actions speak louder than words you say, Sooyoung.* He gave a faint smile, he knew exactly what he had to do, he just hoped her heart hadn’t closed on him.
