"The geek is here!" Dara exclaimed merrily as she entered the Dragon Head HQ with Kung Pao trailing behind her, raising her arms up while holding the paper bags filled with food. "And I brought breakfast!"

Kung Pao also entered the place like she owned the turf, spreading her wings as if asking her adorable subjects to bow before her. TOP saw the cute chicken and immediately ran after its . "I'm going to eat you! I'm going to eat you!" He shrieked gleefully while running around the room, with Youngbae quickly following him to stop the idiot from further embarrassing their unit.

Jiyong, who was standing behind his desk, smiled and watched the girl as she strode towards the couch where his men were lounging and set the breakfast she prepared at the table. The guys immediately crowded her, grateful for the treat.

"Did you cook that?" Jiyong asked.

"Yes."

"Oh no," he chuckled. The rest of the unit who were already holding their food glanced at their boss curiously. "She's not a good cook," he told them.

"HEY! I've improved!"

"Noona?" Seungri eyed her suspiciously.

"He's lying," she whispered connivingly.

TOP finally let Kung Pao run free and grabbed his share of food. "I'm seeing egg shells in here," he commented. "I'm pretty sure egg shells are not part of the recipe."

"Everything will be fine if you drink a lot of water," she winked.

"You're learning from my brilliance, Dara. I like it," TOP said.

Dara made her way towards Jiyong who was inspecting his gun, setting down his food on the desk. The guy silently leaned down, letting her kiss him on the cheek. Dara smiled after giving him a peck and wrapped an arm at the side of his waist.

"You'll be late for work," he informed her, still fiddling with the gun.

"I won't. I just brought the guys food...and something else!"

Jiyong furrowed his eyebrows and looked at her curiously. "Something else?" He asked. Somehow, he kind of dreaded what that 'something else' was.

"Yes! Wait, it's outside." Dara stepped out for a while and when she came back, she was carrying two huge paper bags. She set them down on the floor and pulled out something inside. "I bought throw pillows!" She cheerfully declared while hugging one pillow.

Jiyong's expression instantly turned sour the moment he laid eyes on the horrendous things WITH RUFFLES! TOP, Youngbae, Daesung and Seungri all snorted while watching the debacle unfold.

Of all the useless things that she could bring, she brought...throw pillows. At a mobster's headquarters...throw pillows.

"You don't like it? It's blue!"

'It's blue', she said. As if the color would justify its existence. If there would be a riot in the HQ, those mini ing things would probably get in the way. Someone might even trip on them and lose his life.

"Are they bullet proof?" He asked.

"No."

"Then, we don't need them here." He could not, for the life of him, understand what those damn square pillows were for. If the HQ was under attack and if they threw them at their opponents, they would probably point at them and laugh.

"But, I bought them for the couch..." Dara mumbled, her voice becoming inaudible with each word.

"Dara will win this," TOP whispered at Youngbae who was sitting beside him.

"My bet's on Jiyong."

"My bet's on Dara noona!" Seungri interjected.

"I'll side with our boss," Daesung commented. There was a mini-commotion as everyone in the unit joined in, placing their bets as they watched the bickering couple.

"Babe, we don't need them here. And why are they so shiny? They're even reflecting light."

"It's silk."

"My men will go blind if they stare at those things and they won't be able to shoot their opponents. Take them away."

"Don't be ridiculous. I bought these so you guys will be comfortable when you're hanging out here."

"We don't hang out." Seriously, the woman drives her nuts sometimes. With the heavy artillery lying around, did she really think those fluffy things would fit in?

"Ugh! My back is aching," TOP said dramatically. "I could really use something soft against my back."

"Oh, what are the odds?!" Dara played along. "I have a throw pillow right here!"

"You better ing stop it, hyung," Jiyong muttered dangerously. Everybody shut their mouths because it was the smart thing to do. "Babe," he sighed. "What the hell were you thinking buying those things and putting them here?"

"They're actually for your unit," she said in a defeated voice. "They always guard me but I don't know what to do for them."

"Awww!" The guys could not help but tease. They knew they were putting their lives on the line with the irritated Dragon Head in the room, but it was worth risking their lives for. It was rare for them to see their cold, fearless boss without his default stoic and uncaring demeanor.

Jiyong rubbed his face with his palm before waving his hand dismissively. "Fine," he said. "Put those damn things on the couch BUT..." Jiyong glared at her, stopping the girl from taking another step towards his desk, "...do not put it anywhere near my chair," he warned her.

"Fine," Dara grumbled.

"Pay up boys!" TOP stood up and high-fived with Dara before helping her in setting the throw pillows on the couch. Dara smiled widely, marveling the tiny pieces of soft heaven she bought for the Dragon Head unit.

"There! All done!" She chirped, then her eyes fell on the gun lying on the table. She picked it up curiously, the heavy weight of the rough metal foreign to her touch.

"Hey!" Jiyong quickly strode towards her and snatched the gun from her grasp, clicking his tongue in frustration. "You don't know how to handle this," he said.

"You still don't know how to shoot, noona?" Seungri asked, and TOP quickly elbowed the maknae to shut him up.

"Ouch! What did I do?" He whimpered.

"Why don't you teach me how to handle guns, Jiyong? For my self-defense, maybe I-..."

"No."

"But-..."

"Dara, don't start," he said firmly. The girl instantly knew she would not be able to change his mind. Jiyong had made it clear before that he'd make sure she wouldn't be in a situation where she had to shoot someone. He was completely against it because knowing Dara, she wouldn't be able to handle the thought of hurting, or worst, killing a person. Dara didn't argue back anymore. Actually, Jiyong was right. She might not be able to pull the trigger anyway. But she still wondered if it was something that she should learn.

Oh well. Dara shrugged off the thought and trailed behind Jiyong as he made his way towards his desk.

"Jiyong..." She called out hesitantly.

"Mmhmm?"

"Are you going to be late tonight?" She asked in a whisper.

Jiyong lifted his gaze from the folders he was arranging and looked at the girl. A knowing smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he stared at her. "," he mumbled.

"It was an innocent question!"

"I know what you're thinking. Seriously, you're powered by canoodle."

"Jiyong!" She hissed while rapidly roaming her eyes around to make sure nobody heard him.

"You're draining my energy more than all my enemies combined," he continued, crossing his arms over his chest while enjoying her scandalized expression. “You probably won’t function properly during the day without my canoodle at night.”

"That's not true!"

"You missed my tongue, don't you?" He said haughtily and slowly ran his tongue on his lips.

"You're impossible," she huffed. "I'm going to work." Dara spun on her heels and marched towards the door.

“I’m going out tonight to drink with the guys I met in Europe.”

“Whatever.”

"Noodle later," he teased.

"Jiyong! Argh! Seriously..." Dara grumbled on.

TOP’s POV

Looking at the descendant's scroll contained inside the glass box and locked in the basement of the descendant's residence brought back a lot of fond memories, most of which involved various plans on how to murder Sulli and make it appear like it was an act of nature. When she was hailed as the Hung Clan's Descendant, the new rank went up to her head, acting as if the ground she walked on should be deemed as a holy path. She was not even from the Hung Clan's bloodline, but she demanded that we treat her like a royalty, that .
