Ren wasn't used to get close to people. He didn't want to. He was afraid of getting attached to someone and then getting abandoned suddenly. Why would someone stick with him anyways ?

As time passed by, Ren had came to believe that people were bad. So he constantly had a mask-like expression on his face, to protect himself. Like this, people would simply ignore him. It was simplier like that. He had went weary about everything, about the simple fact of living, as his life was like a colors-deprived scenery.

Well, that was until Baekho came into his life only to fill his black and white world with colors.
