The young king sat in the gazebo in the middle of the royal garden, gazing into the water. His reflection was visible but it seems as though his mind had wandered far.

“My king.” A voice calls out.

“Pardon me for the interruption, but I thought you could use some company after all the commotion this past few days.”

“And who would be willing to. I’m not the most pleasant person to be with this evening.” King Jaejoong said solemnly.

“You don’t sound like someone I am familiar with.” Yunho replied.

“Do tell. Who is this person you think you know?” King jaejoong said emphasizing on the important word as he finally gives his attention to the visiting man in military uniform.

Yunho walked closer until he reached the two steps of the entrance of the gazebo.

“Well you my young king are like the moon that shines in the darkest hour and you give that shimmering hope to the people of our kingdom when times are dire, when they needed it the most. You’re also are like the passing wind that carries the scent of wild flowers to the travellers of the world, lifting their tired spirits up and search for that wonderful paradise. You ar-“

“Just stop ok. You’re taking too long to say you love me.” Jaejoong interrupted as he faked mad. He descended the two stairs and hug the smilling man.

“It was next up on my beautiful poem you ruthlessly interrupted my king.” Yunho released himself from the embrace of his lover and cup his face into his two large yet delicate hands.

“I worry about you. You didn’t show any emotion this three days of mourning for the late king.”

“I am fine. You know why I can’t do that. I don’t want to distress my br-“

“YOUR HIGHNESS, YOUR HIGHNESS” a maid called out and she bows straight to her knees.

“Forgive me for entering your garden. Oh no and also for interrupting your personal moment.” She nodded her heads multiple time when she realised the royal guard and the young king holding hands. She was too in a rush to noticed it beforehand.

“It’s ok Yoona really. What is it that made you come barging here? Is my brother alright?” Jaejoong said as he started to get worried at the sight of the youngest royal maid in charge of taking care his little brother.

“The little prince is having a nightmare that he just would not wake up from. I have called the royal doctor but you have to come quick my king.” She said with tears b her eyes.

As soon as Jaejoong heard that he ran as fast as he could to upper east where his brother’s chamber is with yunho trying to catch up on the young king as he had to get somebody to the young and obviously distress maid. When you had finally arrived he saw the young king stood outside instead of going in. He could hear the most heartbreaking scream and cries from outside and thus he realised why the young king hesitated.

“My king, lets go in. The young prince will be alright with you by his side.” Yunho said as he inches closer. This startled jaejoong as he wiped a few beads of tears that escaped his eyes. Upon entering, he witness a young boy flailing his hands and screaming as the royal doctor tries to check his pulse.

“Bin-ah, Moonbin, hyung is here please wake up” The king tried to tucked the 10 year old small arms in fear he would hurt himself as the royal guard stand watch on the side along with the others. But the small child wasn’t calming down and it was getting hard to restrained those arms as jaejoong wrestled when all of the sudden moobin clawed jaejoong’s cheek and made a 3 deep cuts. All of a sudden moonbin stopped moving vigorously little by little until he topped completely ,falling into dep slumber. Turns out the royal doctor had cupped the young boy’s mouth and nose to force inhalation of sleeping medicine.

“My king, this is the best thing to do for the little prince.”

“I understand, it had to be done. Everyone is dismissed. I want to stay here tonight and take care of him myself.” Jaejong covered the little boy’s body with the mattress and tucked him properly under. Everyone left one by one and all that’s left was yunho.

“My love, you need to take care that bleeding cut.” Yunho said cautiously.

Jaejoong brought his hands to his face and had only realised he was bleeding. Yunho wet a small cloth and cleaned it up for him. He then meticulously covered it up with the pieces of clean cloth he had asked from the royal doctor before he left.

“Try and get some sleep okay. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Yunho caressed his cheek as he left the chamber for both brothers to be alone in each other company.
