Take Me To Church

A/N: Okay, so a lot has changed since the check-in and practically, this isn’t the same as what I had in mind because this was purely word vomit. I didn’t bother changing other stuffs because I thought they would ruin everything. I don’t know if this made sense but I hope you enjoy a KaiSoo fic because KaiSoo is love. PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

(!!) JUST A HEADS UP (!!)

This has nothing to do with the song nor the music video. I quoted some lyrics but the fic is not based on the whole song.

Faint sound of car engines can be heard through the abandoned corridors since it’s been an hour since everyone was dismissed. The air was a bit chilly since summer hasn’t arrived yet and the sun is setting with the moon trying to sneak a peek.

The first building was practically empty besides the roaming guards and teachers locking their respective rooms except for one room. Kyungsoo had been left alone in the rooms since he had to clean his locker. Mr. Park, their homeroom teacher, had given him the time to say goodbye one last time to the room since it held a lot of memories from his high school friends and the keys. For, you know, the room.

Kyungsoo had been in probation since his last quarter in his first year in high school. His mother had been in a car accident which led him to skipping school because no one had to take care of her dearest mother, since his older brother, Seungsoo, is in his last year of high school. On the bright side, he’s not going through the hardship alone. Even after 365 days had passed.

As Kyungsoo was done packing up, making sure the room is clean and had left a note to Mr. Park’s desk, he decided to head on home before the nostalgia kicks in. He would surely miss this place.

With one last glance to the room, he turned to the door and closed it. Key, turning for it to be locked. As he turned to be on his way, a tall figure had blocked his way. A startled Kyungsoo gasped, which caught attention to one of the guards roaming around. A beam of light from what supposed to be a flashlight shone upon them but the tall figure was quick to dodge.

This tall figure had hidden themselves behind a post near the classrooms door. Kyungsoo’s mouth was held by this stranger, who felt familiar, to keep quiet so they won’t get caught. Kyungsoo felt weird as he tried to decipher who his kidnapper is.

*Wow, Kyungsoo. The man never abducted you or something. In fact, he saved your life.*

Excuse me, narrator of my story, but if you know, I wouldn’t have minded getting caught because I would like to get home rather than get killed a .

*Ew no, Kyungsoo. Nobody wants know of your ual status, for your info. *whispers* Even Jongin.*

Shut up, narrator. I heard that.

Back to the story, MY STORY, yeah, yeah, whatever.

Kyungsoo, who was trapped between the wall and the stranger, who feels and also smells familiar, tried to see who exactly his pursuer is but to no avail, a familiar black cap was in the way. Kyungsoo doesn’t know why he is being held captive at the moment or why should he hide from the guards? He doesn’t really care if he’s caught or not because now, he just wants to go home and watch Pororo instead of being held captive by a tall, handsome lad who smells of mint and a mixture of perfume and hair wax, which he points out very familiar.

It took a moment of deafening silence before the stranger finally took off his cap. Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if it was the passing breeze that made him get goosebumps or how every familiar thing started falling into places.

“Jongin-ah,” Kyungsoo softly whispered as Jongin intensely stared at him. He could hear his heart beating out of his ribs as his Knight in Shining Armour *so dramatic, Soo* kept on staring at him. Then he remembers.

*cue Kyungsoo’s "Yay, Flashback!"*

The two were sat on the other side of the divider that was set inside the teachers’ quarters. Uncomfortable silence basking upon them. Kyungsoo couldn’t stop shaking as he tried to listen intently to the ongoing conversation on the other side but his excessive wearing of earphones had made it difficult. A warm hand was placed in his shoulders to stop himself from fidgeting. Kyungsoo looks up and sees a smile that’s ten-times warmer than the hand that made him sweat like crazy. Kyungsoo cannot deny Jongin’s smile, even though he’s in trouble too.

This trouble isn’t like any high school student’s. Kyungsoo wasn’t there because he had beat someone up nor got involved in a fight. He wasn’t caught cheating either. To be honest, he’s a good student to every teacher. He’s the one who excels in Music Class all the time. But the sad part is he failed his Maths. Yes, MATHS with an ‘S’. Which is why he’s being called for.

He’s been failing his Maths since his freshmen due to some things he couldn’t explain. He could blame his teachers but he couldn’t blame himself either. This was his conflict. He would rather sit down and listen rather than to voice out his complaints. Unlike Jongin.

*There we go again with the Jongin. *sighs deeply**

*Don’t glare at me, young man.*

You don’t tell me what to do. I’m an adult.

*Adult, your . Tell me that after your height becomes 180cm.*

Wow, narrator. Thanks for hurting me and my pride with me only weakness.

*But isn’t Jongin your weakness? *raises eyebrows with a devilish smirk**

Shut up. You don’t know anything.

“Why don’t you wanna come with me?” A soft whisper directed in Kyungsoo’s right ear has woke him up from his daydream as he shivers from the hot breath that came with the stranger’s whispers.

He couldn’t help but close his eyes as his breath hitched. He had tried, really tried, closing his legs, but terribly failed as the stranger had put his leg in between because this handsome stranger knows what kind of effect he has on Kyungsoo.

Kim Jong In

    • Perfectly handsome

    • Perfectly smart

    • Perfectly talented

  • Perfectly rich

Jongin purposely asked Kyungsoo to enroll to their own school since it will be hard to find schools that accept transferees in the middle of the school year. Kyungsoo, who can’t stay in a room with Jongin without popping a , politely declined even after Jongin had put up his puppy dog eyes that had Kyungsoo’s heart melting. He doesn’t want to scar the poor boy by showing his own bulging through his uniform pants.

When Jongin didn’t get an answer, he had lifted his leg upward for his knee to brush Kyungsoo’s growing which elicited a reaction. Just like what he wanted. Kyungsoo couldn’t help but gasp as he knew his crush would torture him like this if he didn’t answer. He had composed himself and said a “Because of this” as his reply that emitted a smirk from Mr. Loverboy’s lips.

Kyungsoo didn’t know what Jongin wanted from his closeted gay classmate. Yes, every friend the two have knows everything about Kyungsoo’s undying crush. And yes, they might be a little less that close friends. But what Kyungsoo doesn’t know is why this loverboy of his is wasting his time on him.

It’s not like Jongin is gay or something because they had openly discussed about his crush.

Maybe because he likes teasing me?

*Oh, shut up Kyungsoo. You don’t know anything.*

Kyungsoo couldn’t help but moan at Jongin, nosing his neck to his collarbones leaving butterfly kisses behind. It somehow felt so intimate. Like how those over-emotional lovers explore each other after parting for thirty minutes saying they missed each other, or how those fictional wolf hybrid inhales their mate’s scent and leaves their own scent behind, claiming one’s mate. Intimate.

“You don’t know how much you mean to me.”

Kyungsoo’s lungs felt as if it’s oxygen were cut off. As if someone was strangling him. He felt asphyxiated once the words had left Jongin’s pretty mouth.

Jongin doesn’t mean it. He doesn’t. Get your mind straight, Kyungsoo.

It was as if Jongin knew Kyungsoo wouldn’t believe him. That he wouldn’t believe his true feelings.

Jongin have had this feeling 3 months ago. Back when they were called in that stuffy office. When Kyungsoo had moved his hand from his shoulder to his own hand. Squeezing it with sincerity and love. Jongin had never felt loved like this before. Sure, living in a Christian family is great because it leads you to a closer relationship with God and you get to meet different kinds of people in church who tells you they love you because God says you should love your neighbour as you love yourself. But it wasn’t the kind of love Jongin was looking for.

And as cliché as it sounds, he had found love in a hopeless place.

Jongin wanted to prove that he isn’t faking what he feels. Not like those guys who broke Kyungsoo’s heart and wanted to take advantage of him. He would even let Kyungsoo have his way with him. He’s whipped. And so is Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo is lost between pushing Jongin away or savouring those plush lips against his. He couldn’t believe Jongin is kissing him. Kim Jongin, the Knight in Shining Armour, is kissing Do Kyungsoo, the ugly duckling, the frog, the damsel in distress. This was even better than Kyungsoo’s dream because it’s real.

Their first kiss was sweet. Eyes closed while savouring the moment. It was clingy too. Hands roaming every inch of their clothed body. As if they were trying to memorize each other, kind of like how the blind uses the Braille. And the touching went from PG-13 to Rated R real quick. With hands groping clothed s like they’d fall if they lost grip. Hips grinding to any part of the body, lips mouthing every inch of skin, small moans of ”Soo” and”Jongin-ah” fill the air. And Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if he heard Jongin slip out a”Jagi” or if it was just his imagination.

*Probably your imagination. No doubt about that.*

Why do you ruin my life, narrator?

*I make your life fun and narrated, excuse you.*

Kyungsoo wasn’t sure how and when Jongin managed to slide down his pants and had his hands on his , but he’s not complaining. *OF COURSE YOU WONT* He could feel Jongin’s finger probing his hole through the fabric of his briefs. With Kyungsoo distracted with Jongin rutting his hips like a madman, he doesn’t realize his briefs were tugged down along with his pants near his ankles.

Jongin had his hand on Kyungsoo’s hip while the other on his own as he palms himself there. Kyungsoo let out a moan that echoes in the corridors. The sight was so unreal to him. Jongin with closed eyes, gripping his hip so tight he’s gonna leave a mark, palming his in front of him. Could this dream get any better?

Kyungsoo thought he shouldn’t just stand there. They might as well go further than just groping and kissing, if you ask him. Kyungsoo held Jongin’s hand that was on his bulge and guided it to his chest. “You don’t know how much I love you.” He whispered, looking at the brown eyes he had accustomed to love. Jongin smiled and kissed Kyungsoo on his forehead. Small but heart-warming.

Kyungsoo, being the older, thought he should take care of Jongin. Thus his hand reaching for Jongin’s belt, unlatching it. With eyes still connected, he went to pop up the button in his pants. He reached out for the zipper and-

“Is someone still out there?”

Kyungsoo’s eyes went wide as a deer’s once he heard the voice. It was Minho, one of the security guards he and Jongin had been close to. He doesn’t know of the relationship of the two but it would be embarrassing for him to see Kyungsoo, half with Jongin.

Jongin had fixed his pants up without Kyungsoo knowing and smirked. He faced Minho while blocking Kyungsoo our of the guards sight to fix himself. What a gentleman.

“Hey hyung! Night duty again?” Jongin had plastered his professional smile while he talks to Minho.

“Yeah, unfortunately. Jonghyun hyung had something going on in his house so I took his shift for him. What are you doing here anyway?” he raised his eyebrow in a questioning manner.

“Just helping Kyungsoo out.” And on cue, Kyungsoo shows up, looking -blocked but smiling, with a bunch of stuffs in his hand.

“Heyhyung. Longtimenosee. Ohlookatthetimewegottagetgoing. Bye!” Kyungsoo held Jongin’s hand and sped-walk towards the stairs. Jongin couldn’t stop laughing at how cute Kyungsoo was and how they left Minho confused without an explanation.

But who cares anyway? As long as he can hold his hyung’s hand while smiling ear-to-ear as they speed across the exit. They both know that this ”thing” between them isn’t just a one-time thing. They know this is gonna last. Kinda like forever but different. And although entering a new world is a new start for the two of them, knowing how once they start attending Jongin’s Christian school they’ll get disapproval from every person, they couldn’t be happier than they are today. If Jongin was a pagan of the good times, Kyungsoo was his sunlight. And if he has to sacrifice everything just to keep him by his side, so be it.
