Bunny

Description: Yixing is convinced into buying a hybrid and ends up with a bunny named Junmyeon.

"You should buy a hybrid." Chanyeol said one day 

"What?" Yixing asked uninterested

"Buy a pet. A hybrid. You always complain that you're lonely and right? Hybrids are great company and are very satisfying." Chanyeol said matter of factly.

"Why would I get a hybrid?" Yixing asked.

"Because you need to get laid. And besides, don't you get bored living in this nice apartment by yourself?" Chanyeol asked.

"Okay fine I admit it but what kind of hybrid should I get anyway?" Yixing asked, finally giving in.

"Get a domestic pet. Cats and dogs are too much work, because cats are clingy and territorial and dogs are too playful and active for you." Chanyeol said 

"Don't you have a dog hybrid?" Yixing asked 

"Baekhyun is a beautiful toy poodle hybrid and we understand each other. I take him on walks three times a week, in both forms." Chanyeol stated.

"I don't want a dog." Yixing deadpanned.

"I know." Chanyeol sat and thought for a while.

"Get a bunny." Chanyeol said after a few minutes.

"A bunny? Really?" Yixing asked incredulously 

"Yeah. Bunny hybrids are calm, cute and they are pretty quiet and well behaved, just don't make them . They have higher drives than cat hybrids." Chanyeol explained.

"I'll keep that in mind. But I guess a bunny seems like the best option.

Yixing entered his apartment with a pet carrier in hand.

Resting the carrier on the ground he opened it, letting the creature hop out.

"Okay so this is your new home. Feel free to shift whenever you're ready." Yixing said.

The white bunny with black on the tip of its ears sat on the floor for a minute before shifting right in front of Yixing.

The hybrid was short, probably a head shorter than himself, he had blonde- almost white hair with two white ears sticking out from on top, with the tips painted black. His eyes trailed down to the fuzzy tail right above the hybrid's bottom. The hybrid turned around and faced Yixing with a smile.

Yixing had to admit, he was absolutely adorable.

He was also absolutely .

Yixing ran into his room and took a blanket to cover the rabbit hybrid.

"S-sorry about that." Yixing stuttered, he tried so hard not to stare but he wasn't expecting the hybrid to have such a nice body.

"My owner is so cute." The hybrid giggled.

"The shop owner said your name was Junmyeon right?" Yixing asked and the hybrid nodded.

"Okay well according to my friend, rabbits are easy to take care of so hopefully this arrangement turns out well." Yixing said.

"I don't give trouble. I promise. I can keep myself occupied while you're out." Junmyeon replied.

"Okay, well you're free to use anything in here but don't  leave any mess please. Would I need to leave behind meals or can you handle that?" Yixing asked 

"I can cook, my previous owner taught me before I was returned." Junmyeon said, his ears drooping at the last statement.

"Who would return such an adorable little thing." Yixing thought.

"Is there anything you like or prefer that I can get for you?" Yixing asked 

"Carrots. I love carrots so so much." Junmyeon  said, his ears straightening out once more.

"Okay, I'll get you some carrots. And I'll buy you a collar tomorrow." Yixing said.

As time passed Yixing quickly became accustomed to Junmyeon's presence. He enjoyed it even.

Junmyeon seemed to very much appreciate the collar that was given to him, because he gave Yixing a bone crushing hug when he received it although it was just a simple black collar with a buckle and studs along the material.

Yixing realized how warm Junmyeon actually is and how good he is at giving hugs.

Yixing also enjoyed the meals Junmyeon would make. Most times the meals were carrot based or had carrot somewhere in it. His personal favourite was the carrot stew that Junmyeon makes whenever Yixing complains about headaches, hard days at work and so on.

Junmyeon was incredibly caring and sweet and was quite good at making conversation.

A few weeks after Junmyeon was brought home Yixing allowed him to sleep on the bed with him.

They've had so many late night conversations since then.

Yixing learnt that Junmyeon was a cuddler. He loved hugging and cuddling very much and did it often.

He has had no complaints so far.

 "See why I told you to get a hybrid? Junmyeon is a gorgeous hybrid." Chanyeol said.

"Yeah, he's a real sweetheart." Yixing said.

"You like him don't you?" Chanyeol asked.

"Yeah I guess I do." Yixing said

"Can I scratch your ears?" Baekhyun asked Junmyeon. 

"Sure." Junmyeon replied, tilting his head for the toy poodle hybrid to scratch his ears.

"Wow your ears are so soft. Just as I thought." Baekhyun cooed.

"Thank you." Junmyeon smiled, his nose twitching cutely

"So do you and Yixing do anything together?" Baekhyun asked.

"Anything like what?" Junmyeon asked 

"Like cuddling, dates, ?" Baekhyun suggested 

"We cuddle." Junmyeon answered cautiously

"You don't want to try anything else with him? I thought you liked him." Baekhyun said

"Well, yeah- but my relationship with Yixing isn't really like that." Junmyeon said 

"Well maybe you should change that." Baekhyun said.

What Baekhyun said made Junmyeon think about him and Yixing.

Junmyeon liked Yixing a lot but did Yixing not feel the same way?

Junmyeon had to talk to Yixing about that.

This is honestly not how I intended for this chapter to go but I'll be writing a sequel for this at some point.
