Sunhi

Sunhi walked down the halls, shuffling papers absentmindedly in her hands. It had been three days since Nari’s freak out at her and Jongdae’s birthday dinner and Sunhi still hadn’t gotten an answer out of her. It made it even harder when she barely saw her anymore. The music club had gone into full-blown mode and were rehearsing almost every lunch break and afternoon, and sometimes even on weekends. It was the best Sunhi could do between classes today to con Nari into giving her the love letters she’d been receiving. It was the only thing she could think of that might help her understand what was going on with Nari. Because Nari wasn’t about to tell her any time soon.

She continued down the halls to the lunch hall, thinking so hard that she bumped into someone. She stumbled back, ready to apologise, but instead frowned as she saw Jongin looking down at her with a smirk. Stepping around him, she continued walking. He scoffed, quickly running after her.

"You're very rude, did you know that?" he stated.

"Jongin, you've told me that so many times I can't even care anymore,” she replied.

"Well, start caring. I need at least 14 hours of attention from people a day."

"Or what? You'll disappear?"

"Probably!"

"You never know unless you try. Let's start right now!"

Sunhi sped up her steps, giggling as she raced him to the lunch hall. They pushed and shoved each other all the way into the room, while they grabbed their lunch trays and until they sat down at the table. Sehun, Chanyeol, Jongdae and Baekhyun jumped as the two sat down.

Sunhi pushed her tray slightly to the side and laid out the notes. She studied them with a careful eye as she ate her rice.

"What are those, Sunhi?" Baekhyun asked suddenly.

She looked up, sighing, though she was secretly glad someone asked. "I shouldn't say but I will. They're Nari's love notes."

Everyone gasped.

"Why do you have them?" Jongdae said.

"I asked her to bring them, so I could decipher who they're from,” she explained.

"Isn't that invasion of privacy?" Sehun pointed out.

"Of course not. What are you on about?" Sunhi smiled nonchalantly. She fiddled with the notes, placing them in chronological order.

"What are you doing, Baekhyun?" Chanyeol said as Baekhyun sat down beside Sunhi.

"I'm just curious..." he muttered.

Chanyeol scowled, following his example. The three of them eyed the notes with scepticism.

"I don't like this. I don't like this one bit.” Chanyeol picked up one of the notes by the corner, like it was a disease.

"Then don't look, oppa." Sunhi snatched it back from him and carefully placed it in order.

"What have you deduced so far?" Baekhyun asked.

"I've read over them so many times in class and it only gets more confusing every time." Sunhi sighed.

"Any trends?"

"The only thing he says a lot of is that he wants to 'help her'."

Jongin and Chanyeol rolled their eyes in perfect unison.

"Why are you assuming it's a boy?" Sehun sipped his milk as he met eyes with Sunhi.

Everyone looked up at him with intrigue.

"It would make sense if a girl was sending her secret letters. Since she might get bullied if people knew she's lesbian." He shrugged.

They all nodded slowly. He made so much sense.

"That's true..." Sunhi mumbled as she put down her chopsticks.

She never thought it could be a girl. That brought a whole lot more complication into the mix. She was now even further from figuring anything out.

Everyone sat in silence, wracking their brains for some answers.

Jongdae spoke suddenly. "What I want to know is why they typed it out. Don't you normally hand write love letters?"

Sunhi's eyes widened. Why did I never think of that? She thought.

"Yeah, isn't hand writing it supposed to make it personal or something?" Jongin helpfully added.

"Why would they do that?" Baekhyun wondered.

Sunhi thought hard but before she could think enough, Jongdae answered for her.

"Probably to cover up their identity. She might figure out who they are if she knew their handwriting."

"What's the point of confessing to her then? They're a bit stupid." Chanyeol crossed his arms with a scoff.

Sunhi ignored him, looking at the other boys for help.

"It'd have to be someone close to her
