#Drabble Fourteen - Little Kids pt. 2

The children don’t dare go near Baekhyun after that. Even though some of them aren’t fluent in Korean, they know enough from Baekhyun’s stern expression to be scared of him when he was scolding them. Or maybe the translation went well. After all, children had to start out watching expressions and voice tones to decide whether they should continue being cheeky or to start listening to their parents.

Baekhyun is even more demotivated now, so he would hide himself in every space that is not where the children are. Of course he’d want to do something to help, so he tries to find something to do – such as cleaning up the house (when he can, he will try hard), adjust the furniture so that the children don’t hurt themselves from running around, blocking off sharp corners and edges (of things such as coffee tables, the edge of beds) with a cloth in case the children run into it and hurt themselves. When there’s nothing else that he can do, he returns to the room, feeling a little exhausted.

“Where were you?” Tao asks once Baekhyun closes the door softly behind him. “I called you so many times but you didn’t answer!”

“Ah.” Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Baekhyun checks to see if there are any missed calls, but realises he can’t switch it on. “I think it ran out of battery.”

“It’s way past dinner, hyung.” Tao says. “Your dinner is still in the kitchen.”

About to turn and eat his dinner, Baekhyun is caught by the younger, who says he’ll heat it up for him and then rushes off before Baekhyun can say another word.

Seemingly without a choice, Baekhyun decides to stay in the room and naturally, he floats to Chanyeol, who seems preoccupied with talking to the children, as if he’s telling a story.

“Your mum and dad may seem like they hate you and want nothing to do with you, but really they care about you more than anything else.”

“If mummy finds out that I’m not listening to you, then she will hate me and kill me.” A child says in broken Korean, probably taught by Lu Han, and Baekhyun almost chuckles at how innocently cute the boy sounds, as if the scariest thing in the world is his mother.

“No, silly!” Baekhyun watches as his boyfriend captures the small face in his large hands, pushing those cheeks together so the little boy is pouting. “She only wants you to listen because she wants to make sure that you’re okay. If you don’t listen to gege you might hurt yourself.”

“Mummy is a meanie and a devil and scary!”

“Jun-ah, the scariest are the ones that love you the most.”

“That gege was scary.” Jun mumbles.

“Who?”

“That gege who scolded us … the one that looks like a bunny but is a lion inside!”

“Ah!” Chuckling, Chanyeol picks the boy in his arms and points to one of the coffee tables with its corners blocked with a cloth. “You see that?”

“Mm. Once Xiao Xiao hurt herself bumping into that.”

“It’s that gege who carefully did this while we weren’t here. Isn’t he thoughtful?” Chanyeol says cheerfully as he bounces the boy in his arms. Jun starts smiling from the bounces. “Hm? That gege is doing his best for all of you!”

“Still scary …” The boy mumbles, laughing when Chanyeol’s bounces become more forceful. The tall man spins around until his eye catches Baekhyun.

“Baekhyun-ah!” He calls, setting the boy down immediately and gesturing for Baekhyun to come over. Hesitantly, the smaller walks over, and realises that the boy has noticed him and hid himself behind Chanyeol’s long legs.

“Bout time you came back.” Chanyeol’s hand is outstretched as he grabs Baekhyun by the wrist and pulls him closer.

“I’ve said many good things about you.” The taller whispers. “Now just watch me and copy what I do and the kids will warm up to you in no time!” Then he pulls himself away and immediately crouches down to Jun’s height, holding him by the shoulders.

“This gege is called Baekhyun.” Chanyeol says softly, pointing up at Baekhyun. When Jun’s not looking, Chanyeol gestures for his boyfriend to crouch down, so Baekhyun does so hesitantly. Jun backs away a bit and shakes his head.

“Gege, he’s scary …” Jun mumbles, then immediately turns to hug Chanyeol, short arms wrapping around Chanyeol’s neck as if he refuses to look at Baekhyun. Chanyeol’s eyes are wide as he stares at Baekhyun and then he stretches his arms wide, mouthing ‘HUG’ to his lover. When he receives the signal that Baekhyun has understood, he immediately captures the little boy’s shoulders again and turns him around.

“Look, gege’s sorry and he wants to make up.” Chanyeol says, and then widens his eyes at Baekhyun. The smaller slowly opens his arms, awkwardly, and smiles a little. But then the boy starts crying.

“Ah, Jun-ah …” Chanyeol immediately picks up the boy in his arms and stands up, patting the boy’s back as he walks around to calm Jun down. Baekhyun immediately shifts into a cross-legged sitting position on the floor, watching and feeling really guilty. Children crying, at least to Baekhyun, is a really sensitive thing. After all, they’re the epitome of purity and simplicity, and their views of the world can be changed so fluidly and quickly.

It had always been hard for Baekhyun to watch people cry, but watching children cry is probably one of the worst.

Just as he’s about to leave the room again, Tao returns with a bowl of noodles and passes it to Baekhyun immediately.

“Hyung, you better eat up!” Tao instructs with a cheeky smile as he moves to sit down next to the smaller. “I put all my love into this.” Thanking Tao, Baekhyun accepts the bowl and holds it carefully

Baekhyun moves his chopsticks with the noodles, still thinking a little.

“Gege!” One of the children call as he runs towards Tao. They exchange a few phrases in Chinese and then Tao moves off to follow the boy. Grabbing his bowl, Baekhyun prepares to move out, but then he sees one of the children sitting in the corner with a huge scowl on her face.

“Aish, she won’t listen to anyone.” Baekhyun hears Lu Han say to Minseok. “She’s always like this when she’s angry. She won’t come near anyone and it can last days.”

“Maybe you just need to spoil her more.” The older suggests.

“No, that’s what she hates the most. She thinks it’s the adults’ fake way of apologising.” Lu Han sighs. “I mean, it’s usually fine, I’m just scared that with her temper, she might start doing silly things.”

Maybe that’s something that Baekhyun understands more.

Without knowing what he’s doing, Baekhyun immediately moves to sit next to the scowling girl. The girl glares at him and then moves away. She seems to be one of the older ones, so of course she’ll be old enough to rebel.

Baekhyun begins eating. He doesn’t do anything else, as if the girl isn’t there at all. Obviously surprised by this, the girl at first tries to resist by continuing to cross her arms and scowl, but eventually she gives in and loosens up, turning to stare at Baekhyun.

Finding that her stare isn’t wavering, Baekhyun grabs a piece of meat with his chopsticks and stretches it out to her as an offering. Just like that, the trance breaks and she’s back to scowling and crossing her arms.

When he’s done, Baekhyun leaves the room to wash his bowl, but before he can disappear elsewhere, Joonmyun drags him all the way back and makes him stay in the room. Baekhyun spends the rest of the night watching how the others treat the children. Joonmyun is a nagger, pulling the children from their naughty deeds and then lecturing them while shaking his finger. Kris is the total opposite as he sits there and watches the children climb on couches and not doing a thing about it. Chanyeol is always trying to make the children laugh. Tao is a child himself, conversing (more like arguing) with the children. Lu Han is overwatching the entire thing. Minseok is playing with a child. Chen is holding a child while walking around.

He finds that the spot near the sulking girl is really comfortable so he returns there. But he doesn’t talk to her at all, and doesn’t give her any attention. He would watch the crowd or go on his phone, trying to make his presence as minimal as possible, because at this moment his existence seems to be the reason for the children’s tears.

Early into the night, some of the children have fallen asleep in the living rooms, and the others are begging to stay with the sleeping ones. In the end, the adults agree, so Baekhyun leaves to look for small mattresses for the children. After gathering so much that it piles over his head, he walks carefully inside and dumps it all at the side before starting to put out the mattresses on the floor. The others thank him hastily before getting distracted by the children once more, so Baekhyun moves again this time to get blankets and pillows.

By the end of it, all the children are tucked in on the floor next to each other and Baekhyun’s friends look exhausted. One by one, they bid each other goodnight and then leave to sleep in their own respective bedrooms. Baekhyun waits for Chanyeol, who is still trying to woo a child to sleep. Chanyeol grins at him sleepily when he’s done and then leaves the room with him.

“Man, this is probably the most tiring job I’ve ever had!” Chanyeol sighs, wrapping his arms around Baekhyun and sighing, leaning into the smaller. “The children were so clingy I couldn’t have personal space!”

“You did well.” Baekhyun mumbles, smiling into the taller’s shoulder as he pulls away and then holds his lover by the wrist, leading him up into their room. Chanyeol drags himself to the washroom to clean up, while Baekhyun waits. After all, he had already cleaned himself up way earlier when nobody needed him.

After half an hour, Chanyeol comes out and then throws himself onto the bed with a huge sigh. Baekhyun, still slightly distracted by his phone, doesn’t react to anything until the taller grabs him by the waist and pulls him down. Surprised, Baekhyun lets out a strangled yelp until it’s muffled by the sheets and Chanyeol’s laughter.

“Gosh, grow up.” Baekhyun mutters, twisting around. “Where’s my –”

“Don’t you miss me?” Chanyeol grins, holding him tightly and relentlessly, nuzzling into the smaller’s hair.

“My phone, you idiot.” Baekhyun hisses, even though in truth he doesn’t really care anymore. Tightening his hold, Chanyeol tangles his legs against Baekhyun’s, lowering his head until it’s leaning against narrower shoulders. Baekhyun can smell the unfamiliar shampoo scent that’s not Chanyeol’s, but this house’s, but even so, the hold Chanyeol has on him that’s tight and secure is enough.

“You’re such a child. You can’t talk, clinging onto me like this.” Baekhyun mutters, kicking at Chanyeol’s legs. “Move. I’m shifting positions.” Chanyeol finally loosens his hold and the smaller turns around until he’s facing the taller. He doesn’t have a chance to see Chanyeol though, because the taller pulls him in again, this time long arms embracing Baekhyun’s upper body such that he can’t move his arms.

“You might not be able to take care of the other kids, but you sure as hell can take care of me.” Chanyeol says, a tone of teasing in his voice. “I can be your only baby~”

“Aish.” Baekhyun mutters, fingers moving to poke at Chanyeol’s waist. The taller flinches and squirms immediately, groaning and rubbing at his sides, sending a tired glare at the smaller, who’s chuckling.

“I’m tired, Baekhyun-ah!” Chanyeol complains.

“Go to sleep then.” Shrugging, the smaller closes his eyes and curls himself up to sleep, trusting that maybe Chanyeol’s tiredness will win over his revenge. Clearly he’s wrong, because suddenly a huge force grabs him by his wrists and Chanyeol’s face appears in his view after he opens his eyes. By reflex, Baekhyun resists, lips turning down into a small frown when Chanyeol’s obviously overpowering him due to his sneak attack.

“Go to sleep.” Baekhyun hisses, annoyed that he’s not winning. By having his wrists held, his hands are useless and he can’t grab onto anything.

“Surrender!” Chanyeol replies playfully, cackling.

“Childish.” Really, he’s the childish one because now he’s fighting even harder against the taller’s hold. Chanyeol had predicted this, though, and he throws his long leg over Baekhyun’s lower body, capturing him securely (this time, it’s not a good thing).

Realising that he’s not going to win, Baekhyun decides in his mind that it’s time to let Chanyeol win for once, since the idiot never wins against him. So he lies still, sending a ‘Are you happy?’ face to his boyfriend.

“Do you surrender?” The taller asks, a mad as grin on his face. Annoyed, Baekhyun wants to say ‘Never’, but he is shut up with Chanyeol’s lips.

Pulling away, Chanyeol’s grin is back.

“You’re so –”

Kiss.

This time when they pull away, Baekhyun learns his lesson, so he shuts up and stares at Chanyeol, waiting for the younger to stop all his antics and go to sleep. The large smirk on his boyfriend’s face is not helping.

When Chanyeol leans in for a third time, Baekhyun pushes force into his hands so that he can push himself away and simultaneously keep the taller from leaning in. Frowning, Chanyeol stares at those hands and then up at Baekhyun. This time, Baekhyun is limp, so the taller, like a bored child, positions Baekhyun’s hands in a different way and then claps them together, then pulls away, then claps them together again.

He does this several more times until Baekhyun reaches up and grabs Chanyeol’s face, pushing those cheeks together just like Chanyeol had done to the little boy earlier today.

“You little … kid.” Baekhyun mutters, squishing the face even more, as if trying to take revenge. Chanyeol’s is blinking, eyes wide like a child’s, his lips like a fish’s and looking so funny that Baekhyun cracks a small smile.

“Kiss me.” Chanyeol mumbles with his fish lips, eyes suddenly turning dejected and puppy-like. Finding this to be even funnier, Baekhyun actually laughs this time, deciding to listen to the younger’s wishes as he leans in and kisses Chanyeol chastely on the lips, this time letting it last longer than the other kisses.

After that, Chanyeol’s finally willing to sleep and not play around, and he falls asleep quickly with his arm falling around Baekhyun’s waist. Sighing, Baekhyun closes his eyes.

The next day, Chanyeol wakes up by himself, but of course this is something that normally happens. He pulls himself off the bed and gets ready for the day, and when he comes down for breakfast, he’s surprised to see the children chattering happily on the dining table, playing with each other and talking to each other.

They’re awake early. Chanyeol thinks to himself, blinking as he watches some of his friends feed the children. None of them are sitting down, even though there’s an extra seat left.

Without even thinking, Chanyeol sits down, his excuse being that he’s too tall he doesn’t want to look down on everyone. No one seems to object, though, and eventually a bowl is pushed towards him – dumplings.

“Where’s my spicy noodle soup?” Chanyeol complains upon noticing some of his other friends eating that at the kitchen.

“You’re so keen on being a child, then here you go.” Baekhyun says.

“I said being your baby, not a baby.” Upon hearing that, the friends near him stop feeding and stare at him, groaning.

“Shut up, Chanyeol.”

“I never want to hear that again.”

“What the , I’m not ready for this in the morning…”

Reddening, knowing he should really control his mouth and shut up sometimes, Chanyeol tries to cover his embarrassment by wolfing down the dumplings in his plate. The children cheer for him, seemingly really excited.

By the time he sets down his empty bowl, he’s ready to roast the hell out of Baekhyun, but then the smaller is already gone.

“Where did he go now …” Chanyeol mutters, but soon after forgets about it as he’s bombarded by the children again, who seem to really like him, if he does say so himself.

Like yesterday, Chanyeol doesn’t have the chance to see Baekhyun for the rest of the day, being too focused on the children right before him. It’s only after dinner when the children have decided to settle down to watch a movie is he able to move his attention away. Slowly, he moves his large body away from the children and his friends to get a little bit of air.

I’m sore and I’m hungry. Chanyeol thinks to himself, pouting slightly as he moves to the kitchen, yawning.

“Ge!” He hears someone call inside the kitchen, and stops his pace, peeking in to see who it is. It’s that sulking girl from yesterday – well, she sure isn’t sulking anymore. “Have you put eggs in yet?”

“Mm.” On the other side, there’s that familiar small body this time leaning against the kitchen counter, trying to cook something.

Yes, trying.

“Then how come I smell something weird? Is it burnt?” The girl continues. This time, his boyfriend chooses not to answer. Chuckling to himself, Chanyeol walks in, not wanting Baekhyun to be put into a bad spot.

“Is Lili here hungry?” Chanyeol asks, grinning at the girl as he moves over to Baekhyun, who’s still trying to work things out. Silence answers him.

“Hey, I’ll cook.” Chanyeol says, a large smile in his voice. Baekhyun moves away immediately, and Chanyeol blinks a little to find many burnt eggs in the sink, and the new one is burning too. As Baekhyun tries to clean up the sink, Chanyeol is chuckling.

“You’re not going to let it go, are you …” The smaller mutters, picking up the eggs with a fork and then placing it inside a plastic bag he found.

“Nope.” Chanyeol laughs. “But you should’ve asked for help.” Once again, the smaller doesn’t respond and only stares at Chanyeol cooking quietly.

“Ge!” The girl hollers, and the both of them turn around. Chanyeol blinks when he finds that Lili is only looking at Baekhyun. “Is it done yet?”

“Nearly.”

“I’m waiting~”

Chanyeol picks up the egg and then waits for the smaller to bring the dish, then places the egg on top. Baekhyun grabs chopsticks and then takes it to the girl. Chanyeol follows along after switching off the gas.

But the girl stares at the dish in front of her blankly.

“What’s wrong?” Chanyeol asks gently.

“Ge, I don’t want the egg.” The girl complains to Baekhyun. “I want your egg.”

Awks .. Chanyeol thinks to himself, realising that this girl is probably still angry at everyone else but Baekhyun. He hasn’t had the time to think about why that is so, though.

“Eat up.” Baekhyun says. Chanyeol blinks, surprised, when the girl picks up the chopsticks and begins eating obediently. He turns to Baekhyun, wanting an explanation, but Baekhyun is watching the girl, the smallest smile on the corners of his lips.

Chanyeol’s heart turns warm immediately until it’s spreading through him and he shivers. Byun Baekhyun’s impact is real. Suddenly feeling more energised than he had for the entire day, he quietly leaves the room and back to where the other children are.

This time, Chanyeol’s the one that waits for the other on their bed before sleep. Finally the smaller steps out of the shower.

“Great day today?” Chanyeol asks, covering himself with blankets and curling into himself, peeking out from the blanket.

“Mm.” Baekhyun replies, sounding a little tired. He throws the towel on the bed as he wears the slippers.

“Oi, hang it.” Chanyeol complains, trying to squirm so that the towel falls off the bed. Rolling his eyes, the smaller picks up the towel and then moves towards the bathroom, then returns outside but towards the door. “Hey! Where are you going?”

“I left my phone outside.” The door closes.

Slowly, Chanyeol’s eyelids droop until he falls half asleep. He doesn’t realise this, until he feels someone pushing the blankets into his body, tucking him in. Chanyeol immediately invites that, pulling the blankets closer to himself and totally forgetting that he’s sharing the bed with someone else, and falls asleep again.

The next time he wakes up, it’s because he had somehow remembered, while sleeping, that Baekhyun’s supposed to sleep with him. And if he remembers, while sleeping, he doesn’t recall the other returning to bed.

Blinking open his eyes in the now full darkness, he pulls his long arm out of the blankets to pat for a body, but he somehow can’t find it. Wondering if maybe the bed’s bigger than he had thought for it to be, this time he lifts himself up a bit, still blindly searching with his arm. In the end, he opens his eyes fully and finds that no one is there.

Confused, he sits up now that he’s basically woken up. Mumbling to himself, he leaves the bed to look for the smaller, wondering what he must be doing instead of sleeping so late at night.

It’s chilly and now that the entire place is silent, Chanyeol can hear the sound of rain hitting the rooves and the floor, and the faint sound of thunder. But it’s not strong enough to wake someone from their sleep, and if Chanyeol remembers, Baekhyun isn’t scared of thunder. Not since he was a child.

Might as well check on the kids while I’m at it. The tall man thinks to himself, rubbing at his head and pouting like he always does when he had just woken up as he moves down the stairs and then towards the room where the children have slept. Children sleep anywhere and Chanyeol can vouch for that. Their bodies are so soft that the hard floor doesn’t deter them from enjoying their night.

Opening the door slowly, Chanyeol peeks in. There seem to be bodies on the floor, sleeping soundly, except there’s a big body there too – at least, big in comparison to all the other tiny ones covered in blankets on the floor. This big body is still small.

Baekhyun is leaning against one of the couches next to the children, hands crossed and head drooped down.

A bit more awake now, Chanyeol closes the door behind him after he enters and tiptoes quietly to where the children are, kneeling down on the floor next to Baekhyun. He notices now that Lili is sleeping on Baekhyun’s thigh, and then now he can guess what had happened between them.

One night earlier

In the middle of the night, Baekhyun sits up. Pulling the blankets off him, Baekhyun slips off the bed and then leaves Chanyeol to sleep by himself, instead leaving the room to go downstairs to where the children are. It’s not a sudden spur of the moment without reason – Baekhyun had already been thinking about the children ever since the light was switched off in their room. The nights are dark and endless and the thunder is loud, and even though the children are all together, sometimes they need an adult figure to calm them down in moments of fear.

At least, that’s what Baekhyun needed when he was younger.

Even though he had Jongin and Jongdae, that wasn’t enough for a child like him – he needed parental love, an older figure to look up to and be protected by. That’s why, back then, he never cherished his friendship as much, something that he regrets until today.

Closing the door behind him, Baekhyun steps quietly towards the children and finds that they are sleeping – at least, most of them.

One of them is huddled in the corner, sniffling and flinching every time thunder sounds.

Baekhyun tiptoes over cautiously, that small form reminding him of himself when he was younger, and even until today he remembers exactly what he had needed when he was in that position.

Once he is close enough, he stretches out his arm and pulls the smaller body into him, towards his body. His hand is on her head, pushing it lightly into his chest so the sounds of thunder are muffled. It’s the sulking girl from before, the one who seems so hard that nothing can break her – but it’s these types of people that try to hide the softest part of them.

Of course, Baekhyun is tired – after all, he had moved around the whole day, but thankfully it’s not too bad right now. Instead, he’s thinking about the small girl in his embrace and he shifts to a better position so he can pull her in even more. One arm around her head, hand covering her ear and his upper arm covering her other ear; the other arm around her back to let her know that he’s here and  that he isn’t going anywhere.

Her sniffs are muffled by his shirt, her snot wetting the material – she must be really scared. Her sobs come into hiccups, and Baekhyun can tell she’s trying to hold it in, as if trying not to wake up the children. It takes a long, long time, but eventually she falls asleep in his arms and her sobs cease away. Even so, the thunder is continuing on and Baekhyun refuses to let go.

That’s how he spends his first night.

Knowing that Baekhyun will refuse to leave the room for the sake of his younger self, Chanyeol leaves quickly to grab their blanket and returns swiftly. Setting the blanket down, he picks up the girl in his arms (and her blanket) and moves her back to where the other children are, and just as he returns, Baekhyun lifts his head up, awake.

In the darkness, Chanyeol can see that his lover is blinking tiredly, as if trying to register what’s happening before him. The taller grabs the blanket and then sits next to Baekhyun, trying to pull the blanket over the both of them (upon realising that if he returns upstairs to sleep then he’d have no blanket at all – also, how could he sleep so comfortably upstairs when Baekhyun is here suffering the horrendous hard floor?). Once Chanyeol is settled next to the smaller, Baekhyun immediately drops his head on Chanyeol’s shoulder, and doesn’t move again.

Must be really tired. Chanyeol thinks to himself groggily, tucking the blanket around the smaller’s shoulders and then over himself carelessly before closing his eyes.

Lili continues to stay near Baekhyun but this time it seems her anger has faded away.  Maybe it’s because in the morning she had also found Chanyeol there, and that may have broken her stubbornness. Lili, being one of the oldest with the strongest personality, would drag Baekhyun towards the children at every chance she can get and vocally express her admiration for him,  as if trying to get the other children to love him too. It proves to be in vain, however, as the children would back away and stop smiling or laughing or even talking the moment she brings him over.

“He’s scary, jie.” Someone finally says, timidly.

“Meanie!” Another boy shouts. At this point, Chanyeol had popped up from behind and pounced at the children to scare them. They all scream and then melt in laughter, and Chanyeol grabs one of them and points towards Baekhyun.

“Ge is cute! Ge is not scary!” Chanyeol whispers in Chinese, loud enough for all the children to hear. Frowning at Chanyeol’s silliness, Baekhyun stares at the taller, unimpressed.

“I think he hates you …” One of the smallest girls whispers timidly, and Chanyeol’s expression morphs into one of disbelief – it looks so funny that the children laugh.

“That ge actually loves me.” Chanyeol says softly. “Tell you a secret …” He gestures for all of them to lean in and they do. Those large eyes are staring at Baekhyun and that grin is wide, and Baekhyun rolls his eyes.

“That ge tucks me in bed, buys me my favourite food, and gives me exactly what I want for my birthday!”

“Really?!” The children squeal, eyes turning into hearts at the thought.

“Yes!”

“Gege hugged me when I was scared!” Lili declares.

“But it seems like he’ll eat you up if you touch him …” Someone mutters, and then the children gasp when Lili immediately stands up and runs to hug Baekhyun’s thigh. Shocked, Baekhyun blinks and stares down at the smaller, who’s squishing his thigh very strongly. Chanyeol is just as surprised and he lets go of the boy, jaw dropping.

Suddenly, Baekhyun looks more huggable than usual.

He stands up immediately and then wraps his arms around the smaller’s head.

“Get off -”

“Shh, the children are watching.” Chanyeol whispers, grinning madly. Baekhyun slumps, giving up, while the children still watch them, eyes wide and careful.

“This cute small gege will buy ice cream for the first person that hugs him!”

“I want I want I want!” The children chant as they crowd around Baekhyun and Chanyeol and Lili, and then slowly but surely they put their short arms around all three of them.

“All right, children, get off the poor geges and let’s all get ready for a picnic.” Joonmyun says brightly, and immediately the children are off, including Lili, all bounding towards Joonmyun in excitement with questions such as ‘Are we travelling?’, ‘Where are we going?’. Baekhyun is left being hugged by Chanyeol.

“By children, I meant you too, Chanyeol.” Joonmyun says, and the children laugh cheekily, some running back to Chanyeol to pull him off.

I'm so sorry for the late updates. I have been torn between updating my new fic and the drabbles and because the drabbles have more subscribers, I feel obliged to update them quicker, but I feel that as this is only comprised of side-stories for the enjoyment of the readers, I believe I should put my new chaptered fic priority. As a result, this has caused me to procrastinate both - I'm really sorry once again.

I'm still open to requests, just comment below~ I'm also a loser when going on twitter, can someone teach me how to be frequent on social media?

Like this story? Give it an Upvote!
