DEVOID

He sat inside the bathtub filled with cold ice water – not as cold as his heart right now –. His head hung low on the bathtub side. His left hand was holding a piece of Polaroid photo, while his right was clutching on lighter which he had played with since awhile. The sound of lighter’s ignition and the running water from the tap made harmonization to fill the silence inside the moist room. His eyes continued to stare at some figures inside the photo.

At the last ignition, he decided it. Everything should be ended now. Without waiting for the Polaroid engulfed in flames he leaned his body into bathtub bottom. Drowning himself.

In this way would everything vanish along those memories? Would this pain be gone?

I want to breath I hate this night.

I want to wake up I hate this dream.

I’m trapped inside myself and I’m dead.
