This just doesn’t make sense, Jongin thought. He had been waiting in line for his reservation at one of the most prestigious restaurants in South Korea, La Paris, for an hour. His grave expression must have prompted his bookish secretary as she tried to calm him by claiming that he would be getting seated any minute now. Due to the ample amount of people who arrived that night, the seating was going to take longer than usual.

“If I have to wait fifteen more minutes, they will be getting a horrible review!” Jongin sighed heavily.

“Table for Kim Jongin.” The hostess said, and the CEO was fairly relieved that he had finally been called. With a miffed grunt, he straightened the blazer of his three-piece designer suit and followed her to his designated table. Dismissing his secretary, he took his seat and opened a menu.

La Paris was his favorite restaurant. Although he had visited countless times before, he somehow made a habit of trying something new each time. Today, however, his mind was too befuddled so he settled on something simple and safe.

He would come here in solitude to fine dine and delve into the depths of his thoughts without the annoying paparazzi or press in the vicinity. This restaurant didn't allow outsiders or those who possessed small fortunes inside. Many of the typical customers had backgrounds of wealth and prestige, which said much about Jongin, seeing as how he owned one of the largest modelling agencies.

The time ticked by and he was feeling angsty from not being seated in a timely manner. The waiter hadn’t been to visit his table, and he already deemed him a buffoon without a brain to keep thee 'Kim Jongin' waiting. He won’t be getting a tip from me, he grunted. There seemed to be such hold ups occurring today, and Jongin wasn’t quite sure what caused the delay. While looking down at his menu once more, he felt a presence come from behind.

“Good evening, sir. My name is Do Kyungsoo, I will be serving you tonight.” His waiter bowed, and Jongin slightly tilted his head, never sparing a glance toward the man. Jongin hastily gave his order since he was already annoyed and placed the menu on the table. The waiter mumbled a quick confirmation, and he left Jongin immediately.

It was only three minutes later when the male returned, “Sir, I didn’t get your order for a beverage. What would you like?”

Jongin never chose his beverage himself, the staff would always recommend one and surprise him. This was tradition for those who knew him and his routinely ways. The fact that the man had no knowledge of this, only served as evidence that he was a fresh face, and Jongin began to understand the delay.

“I’ll have anything you would recommend,” Jongin stated, but the man still stood by his side in silence looming over him. Jongin finally lifted his gaze and when he saw the man, his breath hitched and there was a skip of his heart beat.

Furrowed brows knitted together plastered over a concentrated expression along with the bite of a plush, pink bottom lip. The man stared at his notepad thinking gravely of what drink to recommend. It became glaringly obvious that he had not been working at this restaurant for long, and Jongin hadn’t seen his face before.

“Don’t kill your brain cells,” Jongin spoke, and the man’s gaze broke from the paper. When his eyes met with Jongin’s, they expanded twice their original size, and he bowed once again.

“K-kim Jongin.” The man stuttered, thoroughly shocked. This reaction caused Jongin to smirk, he was well aware of the power he held over others. Not many people could resist his charms.

“Yes. I am Jongin, and you are,” he quickly peered at the waiter's name tag having forgotten his name, “Kyungsoo.” He smiled, and the waiter looked as though he would faint on the spot, “So, did you come up with anything?” Kyungsoo simply shook his head, words failing him in this moment. “Ah, well I guess you’ll have to keep thinking then,” Jongin motioned his hand to the seat on the opposing side of the table, “sit, and once you've come up with something, you may leave.” The waiter was hesitant, but he took the seat offered to him.

“Mr. Kim, you really should ask someone else, I’m sure they can provide a recommendation,” Kyungsoo said as he hung his head low.

“I bet they could, but it’s not their recommendation I want, it’s yours.” Kyungsoo’s head snapped up, and his eyes met hungry orbs, he promptly looked away.

“Okay, well I would recommend a red wine, possibly Château Capbern-Gasqueton.”

Jongin’s eyebrow arched, “Wine? If you don’t mind me asking, why wine?” Kyungsoo gulped.

“It’s good for you and I think it matches the occasion,”

“There is no special occasion, Kyungsoo. Unless,” Jongin smirked, his eyes tantalizing, “you’d like to make this one?” The waiter’s mouth fell ajar and a pitiful squeaking noise flew from his lips in which he found highly embarrassing. “Tell me Kyungsoo, how long have you been working here?”

“About two weeks,” He was able to unattractively croak out. Jongin nodded, his assumption had been proven correct.

“Within those two weeks, no one has tried to pick you up?” Kyungsoo’s face reddened deeply, and he shook his head once more, “Well,” Jongin shifted, leaning closer, “I’ll make sure you won’t have that same answer for the third week.” Kyungsoo abruptly pushed his chair back and stood from the table scurrying toward the kitchen.

Jongin smiled to himself. This was a turn of events he had not been expecting, yet he was pleasantly surprised. After all the waiting and being annoyed, he felt flirting with his waiter would brighten his mood and surely it did.

He awaited for Kyungsoo to return with the wine, yet time had passed and Jongin wondered if he had came on too strong. Well, in actuality he wasn’t the kind of man who chased, usually, people were drooling over him. It was easy to find a bed partner whenever he felt the need to satiate his ual hunger. People would form lines in order to sleep with him. Yet, here his waiter was fleeing in the opposite direction. Cute, he thought.

Jongin instantly busied himself with his phone going through various appointments and applications. The next time he looked up, his food was being brought to his table by someone else. He hopelessly sighed. His intention wasn’t to push Kyungsoo away, but to draw him in. If he didn’t get to see Kyungsoo again tonight, then it would have all been for naught.

He was put out of his deflated mood when said man approached his table five minutes later. Kyungsoo held the Capbern-Gasqueton in one palm and two glasses in the other. Taking his former seat, he placed the wine onto the table and the glasses. To say Jongin was surprised would be an understatement, he firmly believed Kyungsoo wouldn’t return, not to mention with a glass for himself.

“I guess, we can make this a special occasion,” Kyungsoo claimed as he popped the cork and poured the liquid. He passed a glass to Jongin, who subtly brushed his fingers over Kyungsoo’s while receiving the wine. Jongin would be lying if he said he didn’t do that on purpose.

Jongin raised his glass, “Toast with me.”

The clank of glasses followed after his words, and Kyungsoo closed his eyes gulping his entire glass. Jongin sat unmoving watching his Adam’s apple bob up and down. Once Kyungsoo had finished and his eyes fell upon Jongin, he was taken aback at the distance the CEO had closed. Jongin was leaning over the table, only inches from his face.

“I thought we were toast-” Kyungsoo started only to be cut off by Jongin’s lips. They delved into a heated kiss that all but knocked the wind out of the waiter. Jongin pulled back shortly, and surveyed Kyungsoo’s features. He was proud that he was the cause of those glossy eyes and swollen lips.

“Tastes like Vin Foncé.” Jongin smiled, and Kyungsoo gave him the dumbest, yet most adorable grin he had ever seen.

Chapter 18: I finally read this! And i dont regret delaying this for the perfect timing because god dammit this surely needed a sacred place and time to read *looks around to make sure no one is looking*

I loved every bit of this im so ing honored that this masterpiece was written for meh. Your writing is so deeply expressive i felt like i was right there (okay thats creepy)
But i swear i could almost smell the wood from the confessions cubicle. Poor ksoo 30 and havent been touched. If i were jignon i would have him long ago

I loved it when he told jigno that he "needs him". And those church jingles came just on time lmao that was hilarious, ing in a church is one thing, ing in a church with holy music playing is another.

And when he leaned on jigno so that he could be /deceased
