Roselake Hollow used to be a serene, remote village that was built from outcasts of major settlements. These outcasts were born with an arrangement of birth defects, ranging from minor to major and even the rare one that descended upon males every five generations; the ability to conceive children. 125 years after Roselake Hollow was carved out of nothing, it was adopted by a neighboring city and the scientists were able to help treat and prevent further birth defects. Except, they couldn't remove any damage that was already done. Descendants from the original males that were able to conceive, six males had been born on the fifth generation. Being throroughly informed by both their parents and medical staff, nothing could go wrong. Right?

Haha, wrong.

Kim Joonmyeon, the descendant of Kim Hyunsu, is the son of the wealthiest family in Roselake Hollow. He's a piano prodigy who looks forward to studying music scores and performing for his dearest friends and adoptive brother. He's 19.

Kim Minseok, the descendant of Kim Minjae, is the son of the infamous Lee Sori, a renowned soccer star. He plays the violin alongside Joonmyeon often, entertaining their friends and family whenever they have the chance. He's 20.

Lu Han, the descendant of Lu Yingjie, is the son of Qin Meili, a painter. Like his mother, Lu Han dissolves the world around him and paints it in a prettier fashion. He's known to paint on the fly extravagant pieces that he gives to friends. He's 20.

Oh Sehun, the descendant of Oh Seunghoon, is a sensual dancer. His mother, Oh Yuni, had abandoned him at a young age after realizing her son was born with such a defect. He lives with Joonmyeon as his adoptive brother and family. He's 17.

Byun Baekhyun, the descendant of Byun Jihae, aspires to be the best singer in his country. He's the only son of Wang Seoyeon and Byun Hyunsik and lives with his father, who dotes on him. His mother left Roselake Hollow to be with her other children with a different father soon after he was born. He's 18.

Do Kyungsoo, the descendant of Do Seungri, is the talented and coveted cook of Roselake Hollow. He's often around Byun Baekhyun and his father along with his adoptive mother, Eurydice. Kyungsoo's parents, like Sehun's mother, abandoned him after three years. Eurydice, the nanny, immediately took him into her home. He sings and cooks for her to show his appreciation, as well as for his friends. He's 19.

They've all been thoroughly informed of their defects along with being given strict advice. Normally contraceptives would be the go-to choice, but they're highly allergic to the ingredients. During fertile periods of the month, the boys will experience an increase in their hormone levels. Ranging from temporary bipolar disorder to increased libido, they make sure to have their schedules on a tight lock when those dates roll around. Abstinence is key.

Too bad it's not a skeleton key.


Aria Glen is the large city that has taken Roselake Hollow under it's technological wings and feathers. Their scientists were able to eliminate most of the birth defects creeping throughout the DNA of the residents. There was one that couldn't be treated, however, without dire consquences that included death or partial paralyzation; male pregnancy. The damage was already done and the only thing the scientists could do was inform the descendants of the rare defect of their choices. They could either stay abstinent, deal with only females, or opt to have their male partners use protection. With the instinct to bear children in their bloodline, the boys refused the choice of being with females, leaving them with only the other two options. It shouldn't be too hard.. Or, well, that's what they thought.

Wu Yifan, the son of painter Wu Jinhai and dancer Ming Mingzhen, lives with his adopted brothers in a home his parents bought for them in Roselake Hollow. Unable to adopt either of his parents' specialties, Yifan resorts to listening in on classical music and enjoying hearing the piano play. Too bad his Baby Grand's pretty dusty. He's 20.

Zhang Yixing, the adopted son of Wu Jinhai and Ming Mingzhen, lives with Yifan and their other adopted brother in Roselake Hollow. He acts as the mother figure in the household, much to his brothers' dismay and parents' approval, and keeps the household in line. Like Yifan, Yixing likes classical music. He prefers the violin to the piano, however, and vowed that he'd one day find a suitable teacher. He's quite picky. He's 19.

Huang Zitao, the youngest adopted son of Wu Jinhai and Ming Mingzhen, lives with Yifan and Yixing in Roselake Hollow. At a young age he showed great interest in the martial arts movies his mother watched, getting enrolled into a private school to teach him various styles. He now incorporates his martial arts mastery into performances and dances, loving the adrenaline rush he gets from a roaring crowd. He's 17.

Kim Jongdae is the only child of the 'angel voiced' Kim Jinhwan, born to the singer when he was young and restless. Jinhwan dotes on his son anyway and raised him with Jongdae's quite strict and older mother, Lee Hyorin. Jongdae inherited his father's singing talent and longs to find someone worthy of singing next to on a grand stage. He, of course, also inherited Hyorin's attitude and developed it into his own style. He's 19.

Park Chanyeol was born to a middle class mother and an upper class father, living with his mother for the majority of his life until he was 16. His father came into his life and took him to the upper class section of Aria Glen, sending him off to Roselake Hollow once he turned 18. He enjoys rapping, playing the guitar and making beats to himself. He's known to have a rather contagious smile and is said to have actually inherited his height from his mother. He also inherited her appetite for good food. He's 18.

Kim Jongin was born to two separate prodigies; a ballet dancer mother named Lee Chaerin and a jazz dancer father named Kim Minsoo. His parents had a fling after a concert and Jongin was the result. He lived with both of his parents, alternating between them each year as they weren't allowed to get married due to family issues. Jongin often consoles himself by dancing, often doing so until either his body aches or he collapses in exhaustion. He moved to Roselake Hollow on his own, fed up with switching between parents. He hoards paintings in a special room, creating dance pieces to match them. He's 17.

Perhaps it's fate that will bring these twelve boys together. Whether fate draws a lucky card or not, however, will be up to them. We'll see.
