Quintessence

Description

Kim Jongin didn't believe in a lot of things. So the gods fell from heaven and turned him into the one thing he believed in.

Foreword

"Our soul is only one half to another. Our physical bodies are terminal, but our spirit lives on forever. We become immortal after unity, the joining of two halves, [...] in these dark times we must remain pure, sacred, [...] as the Gods have given us darkness, and we must seek our selves first. We may rest when we are whole, and we will shine light to the next world."

- an excerpt from Saeculum Obscurum, a lost book of Dragon, the Twice Reincarnated, an anonymous writer during the Middle Ages

Kim Jongin didn't believe in a lot of things- gods, destiny, even soulmates- but one. He witnessed it when his mother had died, then lived again.

Kim Jongin didn't believe in a lot of things.

So the gods fell from heaven and turned him into the one thing he believed in.

A miracle.

Disclaimer: Obviously character names are taken from real life people. I do not own their persons. I only came up with the plot.
