Chapter 4: That epilogue was just too perfect! Is it too much to hope for a sequel to this? They’re so freaking cute together!

Chapter 3: This is a beautiful story with a wistful ending. I like that you didn’t have them meet up for the real ending since it makes more sense this way. Your Sungjae is such an adorable tsundere. I love how his interest in Joy really developed gradually.

Chapter 9: This was soooo cute. Wendy and Seulgi's fangirling is so relatable, I feel the same way whenever I think of the couple. *-*

OOOOOOH so that was why it seemed like the pace abruptly went to another scene in Chapter 1. This was actually some kind of Juxtaposition? Or am I wrong? I'm glad I reread the earlier chapters and I could see Sungjae's essay as well as the events where he almost crosses paths with Joy come together nicely. I have to say that this chapter was the most satisfyingly written so far (still gonna read the Joy version after all). I didn't see any grammar issues that I know of, and I love how you've shown two sides of Sungjae in a span of three chapters (because I noticed this trend in fiction when told from a guy's POV: most writers, especially the female kind, make the guy seem too sappy. Even if a guy is a hopeless romantic, I honestly doubt that smart and eccentric hotties, he would set aside the natural a-hole-ness (of a good kind) that comes natural to a guy in high school)

Oh, and only now did I realize that Sungjae's inner musings was his essay. haha silly me

And if I may, did you ask the Dead Bunny to do that translation??? You sneaky girl ;)

Well, I'll have to admit, for the first three chapters it was a satisfying read (almost like I was reading someone's diary, ahem) But I think I understand what you meant when you said you weren't 'satisfied' with what you wrote so far. I have to admit that it's different from the previous works I have read from you. But this doesn't mean that it is bad. :) It just feels... different somehow? Perhaps you're just getting used to this new style? What I mean is, this is more sentimental-feeling for me compared to your other fics which seemed somewhat darker? IDK. But nevertheless, a job well done. And I am proud of you :>

Chapter 2: Yoooo~~~~

Hi, I was going to post my review on chapter 1 along with chapter 2 here, but i guess it would be redundant so I'll go straight to my thoughts on this chapter instead xD

(I'll bend the rules slightly again if you don't mind. Promise I won't go fangirl mode and put my ubiased critique-glasses on yeah?)

Okay, So compared to the previous chapter, I like your pacing better here :) I didn't have to reread again to make sure I didn't miss anything and I believe this has to do with the narrative being entirely in Sungjae's POV. Now, I'm not seeing any opportunities to work on since you did well to present the male MC's brooding personality. :) I have to admit though it's a little hard for me to sew together yet on why he's so invested in Joy. I admittedly read it over and over in order to try and understand him more. I mean, I understand that he has this impression of Joy, who in her own special way, tries to care for other people. But why? Other people would have been touched but wouldn't go as far as to look for the person leaving the messages. Is he a naturally inquisitive person? I get that he finds Joy's messages interesting and perhaps inspiring, but I guess I might have overlooked what motivated him to be drawn to Joy (I am assuming that this may have something to do with Sungjae's temperament that the narration has not revealed to the reader). And perhaps this yearning to understand such a person led him to fancying her, especially the moment he finally figured out who Joy was.

All in all, this was a well-written chapter :) i say that because it is very hard to maintain narratives based on the POV of one character. The danger of doing that is when a reader may become too exhausted listening (or reading rather) the musings of one character for too long, especially when you want to know what others are thinking as well. So for you to pull it off means a job well done. Don't beat yourself too hard on proof reading ok? :D

would you believe that i actually cried after reading this? goodness, i love the way you write! it's been a loooong time since i've read decent fanfics and i'm twice as happy because this is sungjoy. i miss bbyu couple so much! thank you for giving them justice in writing this fanfic. i can totally imagine the two of them saying the lines. wow.
