This fanfic is first & foremost a love story between Baekhyun and Jeongri, who were friends separated at an early age because of war. Their journey spans across a decade with a large ensemble cast, but it doesn't come by easy as they are thwarted by the perils of war and their struggle to survive. Feelings are forgotten, and feelings for others develops. From demons, to vampires, to friends, to foes;  Jeongri and Baekhyun's paths run parallel in a winding journey together until they are fated to cross again. 

   I started writing this in 2013-2014, and I've been working on it on and off since then, not knowing what I wanted to do with it while this vast universe kept growing in my head. In the end, I thought I might as well share it and maybe someone out there will like it too. I didn't intend for it to be serious, but I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

   This story is told from multiple points of views and there are flashbacks dispersed throughout. Every single character will make an appearance, small or big, and all of them are connected in some way. Because of the large cast of characters, I think this story will span past 80-90 chapters, so it's going to be a long one lol I am not a professional writer by any means but thank you for giving it a try.

   [Edit] March 2020 - Hey, it's Honoka here. This is a note for any readers who come back, wondering what happened. I'm sorry for being away. My life has changed a bit, taking away much of my free time but I still love this story. Given the recent lockdown, I've started writing again. First, I'll edit through every chapter posted so far, just so I can remember where I left things but the overall storyline is the same. The new chapters will have 'Last Updated' in 2020, I hope I can post a new chapter in June/July and finish it by the end of the year. Even if there's only one person left reading, I want to thank you for your patience.
