For a long time people were dull. They all had brown hair, brown eyes, and pale skin. Then we started to evolve. Now there are seven different eye colors, and seven different powers unique to each color. You were born with violet eyes, eyes cold enough to see the dead, yet soft enough to still be used amongst the living. After your family was taken from you by a tornado you moved to a more peaceful place. It looked like an island paradise, but it wasn't quite that.
