Description

We are young phoenixes who rise from the night ashes, who shrug old, ashen feathers burnt by desire or passion that is lit too brightly it set us on fire from the inside, combusting our souls once we hit the pit instead of the sky.

We are ancient ruins of our own, beings who are destroyed by our own triggering thoughts as the catastrophe, that is either beautifully twisted or grotesquely horrendous.

We are cities destroyed by wars amongst men who never learnt from history, we are buildings who keep falling as we never learnt from our mistakes.

We are rising descendants of ancient firebirds, crowned with golden thorns and greatness in our blood, nimbuses floating above us.

(Knock us down, and we will always rise for our destined glory)

 

Foreword

Author's note:

So, here I am somehow finding myself here again. Some kind of motivation rose in me and it made me decide that I should not stop writing, and this time I am writing a new ship, between NCT and Red Velvet and mostly are SMROOKIES graduate. This is another drabble/oneshot collection and I am experimenting with this new ship with new genres bc I feel like I am stuck with childhood friends, romance and fluff tropes (I have shaped my image of svtvelvet to be in that form, so it's actually very difficult to write about them besides of those genres). I might do another romance but probably from a wholly different perspective. Expect suspence, mystery, and psychology, and a new different kind of angst from me here. I have been trying to write again but it's still rusty I guess. Thank you for reading this! (But I might swerve to those genres also, hopefully not.)

(I am kinda mad that Red Velvet is not given a comeback any sooner and NCT is being underestimated so much. So this is kinda like my expression of frustration for them. And I am putting up only five members of NCT 127 in the moodboard bc I need them balanced in pictures lol, but don't worry, I will write the rest who're not up there!)

Chapter 11: It's so sad yet comforting that they at least able to experience loving each other til last breath. Ughh, this kind of story is what I hate and like because it makes me emotional yet I can't stop myself looking for this type of stories. As always you did well.

Chapter 11: NCT x Joy is the best idea ever omg. Your writing style is so eloquent and poetic I loooove it~ I've been seeing Tenjoy around quite recently, is there a reason that sparked this? They'd make a hella visual cute couple though omg. And wowow didn't expect the Ancient China background! Very interesting setting~
