I was lying on my bed on Mina's chest while she played with a piece of
my hair. We've been up in my room for an hour with the door locked. It
was nice just being with her and my family nowhere to be seen.

 

"So, are you just about ready to go back down?" She asked rubbing my
shoulder.

"No, can we stay up here forever."

She chuckled. "No, come on Momo. I'm getting really hungry."

Then on cue, my stomach growled too. "I guess I am too."

"Are you willing to go hungry just to not see your family?"

"Believe it or not, yes."

"Get up Momo."

"No." I said holding onto her.

She laughed. "You can't hide forever." She paused. "Oh, also, I'm stronger
than you." She lifted me up and held me in her arms.

"Not fair!"

"Life's not fair."

 

She got the door open with me still in her arms and she walked downstairs.
I was starting to get panicky. "Mina, put me down so I can run."

"Nope. You have to face your fears."

"They're my fears! I'm afraid of them!"

 

She laughed and we got to the bottom step. Everyone was in the living
room and turned to look the minute we came into view.

"Momo, I'm so sorry!" My mom said coming forward. Mina set me down
and I just glared. "We all said some pretty awful things. I didn't
realize how awful they were until I thought about it. We're all sorry.
And we think you and Mina make a wonderful couple."

I continued glaring. "What you said, was so embarrassing, rude, and
uncalled for, that I don't know when I can ever forgive any of you."

"Psh, I'm not even apologizing." Taeyeon said pouting. Krystal and Yoona
were pouting too. I guess they're all upset that Mina is actually taken.

"Yes you are Taeyeon." My grandma scolded.

"Well, Mina and I are still hungry. We're going to get some food."

I grabbed her hand and dragged her into the kitchen. "See, they're all
sorry. It's not that bad."

"It's not going to stop them from doing it again some other time."

I went and got two plates ready and heated them up in the microwave.

"Well, you know your family is much more interesting than mine."

"I'd rather have an uninteresting family then mine."

"That's not true, trust me."

"I still can't believe my mom dragged you into all this. I really am
happy to have you here, but I also didn't want you to come for a reason."

"Because of your family, I know, but I would end up meeting them
eventually."

I paused. Does that mean she's willing to stay with me in the long run?
"Here's your food." I said handing it to her.

 

We both ate in silence. When we finished I placed the dishes in the sink
and walked back into the living room. Everyone was still sitting around
talking, but shut up when we came in.

"What?" I snapped.

"Nothing." Krystal said.

I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs with Mina following.

 

We got into her room this time and I slammed the door shut.

"I hate them! I hate what they say! I hate that it's all so true!"

"Mo, stop acting like this."

"Like what?!"

"Like a pissed off little girl. Come on, you know that's what they
wanted, to make you angry."

"Yeah, well it worked."

She sighed. "I give up. I can teach you everything but this."

"But what?!"

"Being confident in yourself! Be sure of yourself. Not worrying about
what your family says or other people."

I sighed and rubbed my eyes. "I just don't know."

"Listen to me Mo, you need to be happy with you and your
accomplishments. What they said isn't true."

"How would you know?!"

"Because I've kind of been teaching you for the past almost three
months! I know how smart you are. I know what you're capable of! And I
really like you for you and your personality. No matter how crazy you are."

"Why do you have to be so wonderful?" I whispered.

She laughed. "I don't know. I just am."

I smiled. "You always seem to know what to say to me, where it's not
kicking me while I'm down, but still a good wake up call."

She walked over and hugged me. "I know I can be mean, but I know when to
be nice too, believe it or not."

I smiled and held onto her. She was nice and warm and I liked having her
arms around me.

"Feel a little bit better?"

"A little."

"Good."

She let go of me a little bit. "I feel kind of bad for acting like I did
before and insulting you so much."

"Why?"

"Looks like you get enough of it at home. I'm a jerk." She said laughing.

"I'm glad you've come to terms with it."

She pecked me on the lips quickly. "Yeah, you're the only one that could
actually bring my ego down."

"I feel so special."

"You are special."

"The good kind of special right?"

"Eh...who knows."

I hit her arm. "You said you felt bad for insulting me so much."

"Doesn't mean I won't slip up every now and again." She winked.

"Jerk."

"Yeah I know."

 

She leaned down and kissed me longer this time. I wrapped my arms around
her neck smiling into the kiss.

She had her hands tight on my waist and brought me closer to her.

She backed me up against the wall and took her hands off my waist and put
them on the wall by my head. She continued to kiss me.

She kissed down my neck a little. Mina is the strangest most amazing
girl I've ever met.

 

We collapsed on her bed and just looked at each other smiling. "This has
been an interesting and long day for me." Mina said. "But at the same
time. I liked it. Especially where I learned that you used to run around
with no clothes on."

I hit her arm and laughed. "Shut up. Everyone has done that at least
once when they were little."

"So true."

"I like having you here, now that I know that you're not going to leave
me for my family's behavior."

She chuckled. "I like being here, despite your family's behavior."

 

We laid there and talked for a little while longer.

I actually ended up falling asleep after a while.

I woke up and I realized I was in Mina's arms and she was still
sleeping peacefully. I looked at the time. It was an even ten in the
morning. Perfect. She and I can get breakfast, take showers, then hang
out for a little while before going to visit the school.

I got up and walked downstairs.

 

"Good morning." My mom greeted cheerfully.

"Yo."

"How'd you sleep?"

"Well."

"Alright, well, I'm going shopping. Have a good day."

 

She got up and walked out. That confused me. I mean she always is super
freaky when I have a girlfriend and now she's just leaving. Oh well.

 

A couple minutes later Mina came into the kitchen and I got us both
some cereal. "So what's on today's agenda?" she asked yawning.

"Get ready, hang out, and go visit the school."

"Sounds good to me. I can't wait to finally meet Sana."

I laughed. "She can't wait to meet you either."

"Lovely."

 

We finished eating cereal then took turns taking showers. We still had a
while left so we sat on the couch and watched lame TV shows before
walking to the school hand in hand.

 

 

 

We walked in and went to the office for visitor's passes.

Jessica looked up and smirked once again. "Back again I see Momo."

"Yep, and I brought my girlfriend."

"Oh, how nice. So that'd be two visitor's passes?"

"Correct."

She had Mina and I sign this paper then handed us the passes.

 

 

On my way out I ran into the principal. "Oh it's you again."

"Hello to you too." I said chuckling.

"Like I said yesterday, no causing havoc."

"Yes sir." I rolled my eyes and we walked out of there.

"Wow, you really are notorious."

"That's not even the half of it."

 

 

We walked into the cafeteria and people turned and looked. Some smiled
and waved and I waved back.

I walked over to Sana's table and sat down with Mina next to me.

She was busy being all gross and lovey with Tzuyu so I cleared my throat.

She looked up. "Oh! Momo! Hey!"

"Hello, Sana, this is Mina." I said smiling.

Her eyes got wide and she did a little smile and wave. "No way!"

"Nice to finally meet you too." She said chuckling.

"Wow! You're totally hot! I thought when she said you were her tutor you
would at least have glasses or something. I did not expect this!"

"Sana, calm yourself."

She laughed. "Well, it's nice to meet you too! This is my girlfriend Tzuyu."

Mina and Tzuyu shook hands, but I felt like there was tension on Tzuyu's
side. Douche.

 

"Well, is she like staying at your house?"

"Yeah." I went on to tell them about our wonderful night.

"Momo, you need a new family." Sana said at the end of the story.

"Yeah, I know."

"Mina, what did you think of them?"

"Embarrassing and obnoxious, but I can handle it." She smiled.

"That's good. It would be rough handling them. Trust me. I have in the
past."

 

We talked for a while, and Sana kept asking Mina questions. Then
things started getting uncomfortable. Hyuna, a that used to fight
with me every day, came over.
