Around midday on the college campus, a small creature skirted under people's feet. Where it came from, no one in the courtyard could say. It was a mere two feet tall and slightly greenish, its head too large for its body. The devil horns sitting atop the head snagged on people's pants left and right, but surprisingly the claws and gnarly teeth did not. It moved quickly under the crowd's feet, as it also seemed disoriented. The wooden club the hairy creature carried scrapped along the ground behind it. 

Too bright. Too noisy. 

Someone shrieked. The creature shook and bolted away from the crowd, not to be seen for quite some time after that.
