She lived amongst the stars; her imagination transcending those of her peers who walked within the clouds.
He was the moon. Bright and friendly unlike his friend who rose in the morning as nothing more than a big ball of fire.
She would have done anything to live upon his surface, to be the only one who got to rise with him at night.
If only she could live within his heart. Occupy his mind as he did hers. She wanted nothing more than to be his.
To be the only women to walk into his heart and stay there. But she was merely nothing. Just a star out of many.
Much like the other girls he would meet and had met. She wasn't anything special. There were many stars.
Some bigger and brighter. Much more beautiful. The kind of beauty that was visible to the human eye.
She was a star and just like any other star, her time had come to burn out.
