“After being open and accepting trainees for 5 years, KS Entertainment has finally been slowly releasing the teasers to their first 18 member project. CHECKMATE.

CHECKMATE consists of 4 main groups, plus 1 group that has a mix of the main groups..

♔King - Consists of 6 male members. ♔King's members will be showing a slightly powerful dance with ppowerful rap.

♕Queen - Consists of 6 female members and is a female versoin of ♔King.

♖Rook - Consists of 3 male members and 2 female members. They are called "rook" because they can be considered the "tower" of the group since they are a 5 member band, all playing an instrument. Often play the instrumental parts for the other groups, especially during concerts.

♞Knight - Bring together the best dancers from the groups! Consisting of 4 male members and 4 female members, they will show even more of a variety of dances and their strength in vocals and rap.
