Prologue:

Kwon Hana unwillingly prepared herself for her first day of school in a totally different place. Prepared? That’s not quite the word, it doesn’t fit the situation; the sixteen year old girl put her long, soft, black locks in a messy bun. She then proceeded to put her brown glasses on and made sure her uniform’s skirt reached her knee. It was a perfect new image for her.

Actually, she despised the look.

Her pretty eyes were hidden, her face had lost all brightness and softness was replaced by a justified hardness.

Glancing at the clock, Hana realized it was almost time for school so she simply picked up her bag from the floor and made her way towards the front door, not bothering to eat breakfast.

“You don’t need to do this Hana. Please, don’t.” G-Dragon approached her quietly from behind, stopping her from going out. “I need to do this oppa, please.” Seeing her façade crumbling and her teary eyes, her brother stopped, letting her go.

“I love you, oppa take care and stay out of trouble!” Hana quickly stood on her tiptoes and kissed her brother’s cheek. Then, she ran for the door not even acknowledging his reply.

“Take care! I love you, YOU stay out of trouble.” He sighed as he closed the door. “I need a job now, but who’d want me? I just got out of jail.” He muttered to himself.

Lee Byunghun was running late for school as he usually did. However, this day was totally different from any other, since the news of him being in prison for the summer spread, the gang of his school kept bothering more frequently and pressuring him to join their gang. The night before, they had invited themselves to his house and that’s the reason he couldn’t get a wink of sleep.

He had to make a decision and he knew he’d hate it, but he had no other choice. He’d join Teen Top this year. That’s the path he chose as he put on his black beanie and glasses again.

Kwon Hana chose the same path, one that wasn’t her path before the summer.
