What is the 'Hundred Prompts Challenge'?

It's just as the title reads! It's a challenge to write a hundred stories - one-shots, short stories or even a series. I got this idea thanks to the Dojae Couple who recently brought back my interest to write fanfiction again plus the fact that, while there are a couple of very good ones, there's not enough Dojae fics in general out there yet to satisfy my needs! Rather than sulking around and waiting though, I've decided to take action! 

How does it work?

There's a total of 125 prompts available, though only 100 need to be written to succeed. The prompts included have all been picked out by my friends. The plan is to interpret these prompts, flesh them out and write them into short stories. They need to be at least 300 words short and preferably no longer than 50 000 words (need to limit the word count in order to complete the challenge within a reasonable amount of time - feel free to make them longer if you feel like it though, it's only a reccomended amount).

Though I'd planned to do this alone, mainly because I don't think anyone else would be interested, everyone's welcome to join in on the challenge (and a few have already)! If you're interested in joining, let me know in the comments or via personal message. I'll create a personal masterlist for you (as I will for myself) of the fics you're writing. It'll make it easier for people to access/read your lovely stories.

What are the rules?

There aren't really any rules besides Asianfanfics' general ones, plus the 300 words minimum and 50 000 preferred  words limit. There's no age, language or skill limit either - everyone is welcome! There are also no deadlines since writing 100 stories is already difficult enough. You can set your own deadline or goal, if you wish. But stick to something reasonable like at least a hundred days, which gives you time to write at least one per day.

Remember, there's no 'copyright' or anything on the prompts that prevents you from using prompts that I or others have already used as long as you don't copy the actual fleshed out storyline based on the prompt. People who are only interested in using one or a few prompts are welcome as well (you will also get a masterlist, if you want)! It'd also be nice if you credited back to here, so that other Dojae lovers can also find out about the challenge.

What is Dojae?

Wait, what? You actually read this far without even knowing what couple I'm talking about?! The excessive amount of gifs didn't give you a hint?

Alright, let me introduce them to you since you're so curious: The Dojae Couple (alternatively also known as Jaedo) is the pairing name for SM's 2016 boy group NCT U's Kim Doyoung and Jung Jaehyun. They are absolutely adorable together and you should totally, like, ship them if you don't already. 

What if I don't ship Dojae but I like your challenge?

What?! You're still not convinced about this couple?! Fine! Because I'm such a nice person (jk, I'm evil, fear ME) I've decided to let all of you NCT fans that are into another shipping than Dojae, but want to participate in the challenge, join in on the fun AS LONG AS Doyoung, Jaehyun or one of the NCT / SM Rookie boys are a part of that couple while the other person is either an OC (male or female are OK) or also a member of NCT / SM Rookies.

In a nutshell: You can NOT participate in this challenge if you're not using one or more of the NCT / SM Rookie Boys as your main characters. 

A lot of these prompts are kind of generic though so I can't really claim copyright on them or anything. Should you decide to use them for another couple then it's not going to count as being a part of the challenge - that's all. I don't mean to be harsh. It's simply that the main point of this challenge is to encourage writers to write more Dojae (or at least NCT in general) fics after all.
