Soo Jin POV

The sound of my alarm clock blaring in my ear caused me to groan before knocking it off of my table.

"I'm up. I'm up.", I groaned as I threw my legs over the bed.

I rubbed my head wondering why I'm so groggy every morning. I slowly made my bed before making my way yo my dresser. I let out a sigh while grabbing my clothes ready for a shower. I heard my Mia meow before she clawed her way up my leg. She's became my pet kitten after I saved her from being stuck in a mud pile.

"Mia. That hurts.", I whined grabbing her and gently placing her on my bed.

It didn't take long before she curled up into a ball and fell asleep so I walked to my bathroom to shower. After showering I walked outside to check my mail for the usual monthly bill. I frowned as there was nothing but a small yellow envelope. I looked around before grabbing it and heading back inside. I took a seat at my table as I opened the letter expecting an eviction notice but once again I'm caught off guard. Its an invitation letter.

To: Ms. Soo Jin

Hello Miss Jin. I am extending out an invitation to attend our Prime Academy for Elites. Just in time for classes to start. It is located in a small town north of your home. We are curious about your special abilities and are positive that you would fit right in with the other elite individuals. If you are worried about where you would live don't worry about that. We will provide a lovely home for you and any pets in your possession along with paying for any expense used to help you move. Down below if you just check the box of your decision we will prep your new home for you.

"So a school invitation.", I mumbled before a word appears on the letter.

"Yes."

I scanned the paper in disbelief before I let out a sigh.

"Will I be found there?", I asked waiting for a response.

"Not if you don't want to be."

I stared at the letter before placing my face in my hands. Is this really a good idea. Its only a matter of time before they find me so maybe moving is a good thing. I hesitantly checked the yes box before the letter disappeared from my hands. I gasped before looking around the floor for the letter thinking I just dropped it.

"What?", I asked before there was a knock on my door. .

I froze as I stared at my front door waiting for a second knock. When I didn't hear one I slowly got up and stalked toward the door before looking through the peep hole. I cracked open the door to see a house across the street that wasn't there before. I opened the door all the way to see a completely different area.

"How?", I asked before a moving truck appeared in my driveway.

"You must be Soo Jin. Welcome to Hollow Springs. I'm Jimin and this is my brother Jungkook. Were going to be helping you move today.", the driver greeted.

I awkwardly waved before a flash went by and came past withing two seconds. Jungkook was his name? He's really fast. How is he that fast.

"He was born with Enhanced speed as you can see the blur going by. I figured you were wondering.", Jimin smiled.

"Exactly. You can read minds?", I asked and he looked surprised.

"Wow how'd you know?", he asked and I shrugged.

"Enhanced Awareness.", I replied using the word he did.

"Born with it?", he asked and I shook my head.

"I can't read your mind. May I ask why?", he said and I sighed.

"I don't take to kindly of people invading my privacy.", I snapped and he shrunk back.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I've been through a lot.", I apologized.

"Most residents do.", he said as Jungkook ran by with my last sofa.

I turned around to see an empty house. Cabinets emptied, fridge cleared out and all my furniture gone. I looked at Jungkook who had a wide grin on his face resembling a baby bunny.

"Mia?", I called out and she came out of the back of the truck.

She brushed against my leg and Jungkook began rubbing his neck.

"Sorry. Going so fast I didn't even realize.", he said and I nodded.

After a 20 minute drive and quick unpacking later I was moved into my new house and ready for my first day. I waved goodbye to Jimin and Jungkook before locking my door. I looked to the side and saw an alarm system.

"Guaranteed to keep the goblins and trolls away!"

I setup my alarm before I walked to my room closet and saw a couple of uniforms. White blouse, red plaid skirt with lace lining, black jacket and a pair of pair of over the knee socks all together. I looked around for shoes but never found any. I heard the sound writing on a mirror before turning to the mirror in my room.

"Any shoes will work"

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair before collapsing on my bed. This is going to take some getting used to. Mia hoping onto my bed before climbing on my chest and falling asleep. I grabbed the covers and did the same.

"Tomorrow's a new start."
