It was the day.
The day where all the seniors of Parammount High will be facing an exam that determines our career path.
This is no joke.
I got up early.
I ran to the kitchen and umma made me chicken soup.
"Wow. This looks good, umma!" I was so happy.
"Eat up, you'll need a lot of energy. For your body and your brain."
"Thank you umma!"
I went to the sink, wanting to help her with the dishes.
"It's okay, darling. You better head to school. I'll take care of this."
"Jeongmal? Mmmm okay, if you say so!"
I gave her a hug and put on my school shoes.
The sky was blue, everything seemed bright.
Oh dear, I sure hope today will be a good day!

"Okay class, please keep your notes and reference books into your bags. Remember, all cellular phones must be put in silent or off."
I took out my stationeries and the required documents and placed it on my table.
"Be sure to write your particulars and check your index number."
My heart was pounding.
I was trying to recall everything I have revised.
I sure hope I studied everything!

The whistle was blown which means that the time is up.
I flipped through everything once more, making sure that I didn't miss out any questions.
I handed the paper over and was relieved it was over.
One down.
Few more to go!

It was recess and everyone was eating with books in their hands.
I took out my lunch pack.
The other two was too busy reading their books that their lunch was left untouched.
"Yah, aren't you eating?" I asked them.
Juliane stuffed her sandwich in but her eyes were still at the book.
I wasn't being over-confident or anything but I tried not to refer at the books at this stage.
I'm just afraid that I might be too nervous.
The 3rd whistle was blown which means the candidates can now enter the examination hall.
"Come on guys, we better go.."
The slammed their books and got up.
"Let's go!" HyunA-unnie cheered.

The whole routine repeated for two weeks and it was the last paper, Biology.
We where at the reading corner, reading all the express notes before entering the examination hall.
I on the other hand decided to calm myself down by meditating.
It helps.
The whistle was blown once more.
"It's the last paper, guys!! We'll be free afterwards!!! Woooot!!!"
I was trying to do a peptalk.
They just nodded.
When I received the paper, I wrote down my index number.
I pray to God that the paper will be easy.
