"I like you, ______-ssi..."

 

 

I looked around and it was the 'ahjusshi'.

 

 

What was I suppose to say?

 

 

 

I kept quiet.

 

 

He came up to me.

 

 

 

 

I should say something by now.

 

 

 

I cleared my throat and muster up all of my confidence.

 

 

 

 

"Aren't you too old for me?" I finally responded.

 

 

"I'm too young for you. Our ..." I paused.

 

 

 

His cute smile that once melted my heart soon faded.

 

 

He grabbed me by the shoulder and looked at me in the eyes.

 

 

I tried to look away because deep down, I didn't mean that.

I felt guilty for saying that to him.

 

 

I heard a huge gulp from his throat.

 

He started to breathe heavily.

 

 

 

"_____-ah..," he called my name as his voice started to sound shaky.

 

 

 

I felt like a huge boulder landed on me as I knelt on the ground.

 

 

 

He continued to look at me with his puppy eyes, waiting for an appropriate explanation.

 

 

 

 

"_____-ah, princess, I-I-I-I..." he starteed to stammer. Clearly he was dumbfounded by my words.

 

 

 

He threw his pride away, held back his tears and still managed to look at me.

 

 

I continued to remain silent eventhough he kept calling me.

 

 

 

There was an eerie silence between both of us but I know his heart was shattered into a million pieces.

 

 

His eyes watered and so was I.

 

 

I wanted to speak, but tears were coming down from his cheeks.

 

 

I wiped it off with my little hands.

 

 

 

"Ahjusshi..." I murmured.

 

 

 

What should I do?

I bit my bottom lip, thinking of ways to solve this mess I'm in.

 

 

 

 

Someone tapped my shoulder and it was him, JunKyu-oppa.

 

 

I got up.

 

 

"Oppa.."

 

 

He had that smile on him.

 

 

 

"Oppa.." I called out to him again.

 

 

 

"_____.."

 

 

 

He kissed my forehead.

 

 

 

"Please don't cry. I don't want to see my precious jagiya sad..." he said that softly.

 

 

 

"I can no longer take care of you, jagiya."

 

 

 

"Oppa! Don't say that!" I was astonished when he uttered those words.

 

 

 

He cupped his hands on my face.

 

 

 

 

"Jagiya.. You need to forget about me. I have caused you too much pain.."

 

 

 

"Oppa.."

 

I wiped my tears away.

 

 

 

"You deserve someone better, someone who can take care of you, someone who can love you, more than I do.." he continued.

"Do you see that nice guy there?" he pointed at someone.

 

 

I looked over and it was Ghun-ssi.

 

He was getting up and was about to leave.

"Ne.. I can sense that he loves you, jagiya.. He loves you with all his heart.."

 

 

I looked at Ghun-ssi.

 

 

 

"He is able to take care of you, and shower you with love, constantly. Something I can no longer do.." he smiled at me.

"Go over to him.."

 

 

He gave me a slight push towards Ghun-ssi.

 

 

 

I looked back at JunKyu-oppa.

 

 

 

"Go on.." he smiled again.

 

 

I went up to him and tapped his shoulders.

He looked at me.

 

 

I caressed his face and gave him a hug.

It was nice.

 

 

 

 

 

"_____-ssi..."

 

 

I heard a familiar voice.

 

 

"____-ssi.."

 

It was that voice again.

 

 

I opened my eyes and I saw him, Ghun-ssi.

 

 

 

"You're awake?" he placed his hand on my forehead.

 

 

 

It was just a dream?

 

I got up and gave him a hug.

 

 

 

"Mwo? W-what's the matter, princess?" he my head.

 

 

 

"I'm glad to hear your voice again, ahjusshi.." I snuggled in his arms.

 

 

It was really comfortable to be in his arms.

 

 

 

He smiled and hugged me tighter.

 

 

 

I looked at the window and I saw JunKyu-oppa standing there.

He smiled at me before fading.

 

 

 

"Oppa.. I need to let you go now.." I thought to myself.
