Chapter Fifteen


Day One:

As the door closed, i realized that Tiffany is not here anymore to save me. My mind immediately clouded by the ever negative thoughts. What if Baekhyun comes here? What if Taeyeon leaves? What if Taeyeon doesn't do as she says like staying here for me? What if Baekhyun visits here just to cuddle with Taeyeon like before? What if Taeyeon neglects me? What if i break down again?

I guess i don't know Taeyeon this much to have these kind of worries.

I let out a silent sigh and decided to just completely change my thinking. It's my last ten days here in South Korea and i am going to stay the person i love the most. Better make the most out of it.

And so i turned to Taeyeon and l rubbed the back of my neck, i saw her doing the same and we just awkwardly smiled at each other. But God, Baekhyun Byun you're one ing lucky man. I despise you and your gender. Such a lucky guy. The end of my lips quivered at the forced smile and so i turned and saw that we are officially alone, now realizing how much of a bum i have been seeing all the mess around the dorm of the people that let me stay.

"I'll buy grocery."
"I'll clean around."

Both Taeyeon and i spoke at the same time. Our smiled disappeared because i swear, the awkwardness clouded the both of us and so she nodded and went to her room, i look at her back as she left, assuming that she'll dress up, grab her things and leave. Well, i guess i'll stay here and clean up? I decided to look around the house first to get familiar, then i found the cleaning stuff on their laundry room. I got out, carrying floor mops, feather duster, bins and also towels, liquid cleaner and air fresh spray. When i got out, i saw Taeyeon fully prepared, she was well covered from hat, mask, sunglasses and even earphones. Now that's the disguise i am talking about. "I'm going now, you stay here okay?" She went to me as she spoke as if i am a preschooler that needs to be look after at, she patted my arm and then turned to leave the house. The gesture's nice.

Once Taeyeon was out the house and i was left alone, i turned back and decided to leave a lasting impression to her and the other girls by cleaning their dorm. They are gonna be back and they'll see their reflection everywhere later on. Hah.
