“I appreciate you letting me read your song for class, Kyungsoo.” Jongin smiled at him while Taemin sulked behind them, silently wishing that God would just strike him with lightening, “There’s no doubt your professor will give you high marks for these lyrics, and your voice will definitely blow everyone else out of the water.”

Kyungsoo’s cheeks stained a light pink as he ducked his head down from Jongin’s gaze, “I wanted to hear another person’s thoughts on my assignment before I would have to perform it and you came to mind. So, thank you for your feedback it really boosted my confidence on this.”

“Hey, anything I can do to help.” Jongin’s smile widened and once they reached Kyungsoo’s class, he opened the door, “I’ll see you tomorrow morning in the lounge?”

Kyungsoo thought a bit before nodding, “I’ll meet you near the snack machines.” He shyly smiled back at him as he stepped into the lecture room, “Thanks for walking me to class, Jongin.”

“Not a problem, have a good day okay?” Kyungsoo simply nodded again, completely forgetting about Taemin’s presence.

The grin never left Jongin’s face even when the doe eyed boy entered his class and Taemin nearly rammed his head into the wall next to him, “Yah, Kim Jongin.”

Jongin turned to him seconds later, “Hm? When did you get here, Tae?”

“I got here in 1993,” He deadpanned, “Idiot, I was with you two the whole time, you waited for me after journalism then we went to go meet your precious Kyungsoo.”

“We did?” Jongin’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion but the realization quickly hit him later on, “Oh! We did, sorry Taem, I guess I got caught up with Kyungsoo.” He pulled Taemin into him, squeezing his body playfully, “Forgive me?”

“Don’t I always?” Taemin frowned, although he couldn’t deny Jongin’s hug, “And when did you act so cheesy around him?”

“I’m trying to make a good impression, Taem.” He kept his arm around him, “I wasn’t overboard, was I?”

“No, you were your charming self. I’m surprised you weren’t begging on your knees for a date.”

“That goes against step number one, no whining or complaining is allowed to get him to date me. I’m letting him know I want a relationship and I’m serious about it.” Jongin opened the door to the cafe, squeezing both him and Taemin through the small space.

“Why did you drag me to the cafe, Jongin?” Taemin questioned to change the topic, although
