Myungsoo’s P.O.V

So since we’re done with exams and the winter holiday is here, we are all packing for our home trip, I don’t miss my father though. Well fine! I do miss him, probably childhood Myungsoo here speaking anyway, my friends are all packing but not Sungyeol, wonder what’s up with him

“Yo! Sungyeol, why aren’t you packing?” asks Ryeowook

“I’ll do that later, don’t worry.” Answers Sungyeol

“You sure hyung?” I ask, he nods

“Hmm okay then, see you later hyung.” I said as I go out to meet with my one and only *drum rolls* Lee Sungjong! Yay!

“Not so fast Kim Myungsoo.” Suddenly Hoya holds my shoulder and he looks really angry. Should I be scared? Especially since he exploded once….  

“You spent most of your time with my sister, so let me do the same.” He said

“But Hoya-ah!!” I whine, he glares at me making me whimper, okay mental note. Never piss of Lee Howon. It runs in the family. Both of them are hot-headed and scary when they’re angry. Well I find Sungjong cute when she’s angry but when she’s actually angry she can be quite violent.

Knock…knock… 

Suddenly a knock at the door shocked us as Hoya opens it was…

“Howonnie!” It was Hayoung who has the widest smile on her face.

“Myunggie~” weird but I’m sure that Sungjong’s voice

“Omo, Hayounggie, you’re here.” Said Hoya

“Oppa, let’s go. You promise me a date today.” She pouts

“Ey, someone’s got a date, someone’s got a date.” I heard Sungjong , Ha Young glares at her

“Sungjonggie!!” she whines, I give a small laugh

“Sungjong-ah,I thought you promise me a date too.” I said, well it was actually a lie, but I do want to have a date with her today

“What?! Since when did I promise you a date?!” she asks, the whole room burst into laughter

“Yah! You should know if he’s lying or saying the truth, his ears will twitch if he lies.” Said Sungyeol, who’s still in that room.

“No it doesn’t!” I argue back, she only giggles

“Aigoo, just tell me you want a date, aiish you Chesire cat,” she tease as she pulls me from my room including my luggage

Hoya’s P.O.V

“Hayoung-ah, let’s go?” I said as I offer my hand, she giggles as she accepts my hand. We both walk through the halls together and as usual the cute couple is still bickering about something.

“Oppa, what’s wrong?” asks Hayoung.

“Ah, it’s nothing.” I reply as I stare at Myungsoo and Sungjong who are finally peaceful and holding hands. Ah young love. Suddenly I hear Hayoung’s voice, stopping me from my train of thoughts.

“Oppa! I have an idea!” exclaims Ha Young

“Mmm?”

“How about the four of us have a double date, wouldn’t it be fun?” asks Ha Young

“Sure, why not?” I said as we both approach them.

“Let’s go together, since both Sungjong and I lived in the same house.” I said with a smirk

“Let’s go a double date together, won’t it be fun?” asks Ha Young

“Double date?” I hear my sister asks. 

“Yeah, a double date.” Said Hayoung

Gosh, I can feel Myungsoo’s glare through my skull... is this a bad idea?

“Come on, please!!” pleads Ha Young

“I agree to this but not sure about Mr. Cheshire cat here.” Said Sungjong as the three of us stare at Myungsoo who was quiet all this time

“Fine.” Said Myungsoo

“Yay!!” the three of us cheer as Myungsoo close his ear

“Yah, yah! Too loud, Yak Lee Sungjong, did you influence them or something?” asks Myungsoo

“I did not! They were just like that.” Answers Sungjong “come on.” She continues surprisingly she links her arms with my girlfriend, Ha Young

“Wow, girls night out it is then.” I joke

“Ani, we will try to get their attention too.” He said, oh no! not only Cheshire cat, but Mr. sadist too, careful my sister, I won’t let him force you any weird stuff, trust me!

Sungjong’s P.O.V

“Kacha Hayoung-ah, I want to buy all the food in town!” I exclaim as Ha Young giggles

“You’ve change very much since the last time I was your best friend.” She said

“Yep, blame Mr. Cheshire cat.” Answers Sungjong as Ha Young laughs

“I’m glad to know you’re back to your usual self, I miss the old Hayoung, I miss you so much!!” I exclaim as I hug her

“YAAAAAHHHHH!!!” both male voice shock us, obviously both of our boyfriends are pouting while the other students laugh at them

“Wae?” asks Ha Young

“What? She’s a girl, and I remember I should NOT have skin ships with guys.” I said with a smirk

“Come on! This is not a girl’s night out, this is double date, remember?” I heard my brother said. Heol! What happen to my calm and chill brother? Well he did explode once but I’m sure he’s not that angry right?

“Wonnie oppa, calm down. Sungjong and I have a lot to catch up, you do remember RIGHT?” she asks with a glare, yes the usual glare when she was still mean making my brother whimpers and hides behind Myungsoo

“Kacha, Lee Sungjong.” She said as both of us got out of school cheerfully while those boys, who knows what will happen.

“Yah.. this is just too much.” Said Hoya as he carries the nth shopping bag that Ha Young gives him, Myungsoo shrugs as he just walks empty handed, because most of the things that Sungjong are food and she refuse to let Myungsoo carry her stuff

“Let me carry them that seems heavy.” Said Myungsoo, Sungjong shook her head

“Ani, I can do it, it’s just one plastic bag, what’s the big deal?” she said

“Sungjong-ah, this is such a cute dress! OMG!! You must wear this for our farewell party !!” she exclaims

“hehe, no need, I already have a dress back home.” Said Sungjong

“Come on, you have to take this opportunity since I haven’t spent time much with you, please?” pleads Ha Young with her puppy dog eyes

“Not again.” Mumbles Hoya as both of them sits down on a round sofa in that store

“this is gonna take a lot of time.” Mumbles Myungsoo

“I know right.” Said Hoya

In the end, we lost count how many shopping bags are on Hoya’s hand but obviously it did hurt his hand as he puts it on Hayoung’s car

“Gomawou Wonnie oppa.” She said as she waves to both of them and enters the car

“Well that’s quick.” Said Myungsoo “Now where were we?” asks Myungsoo as he faces Sungjong

“Ahem! I’m like a mosquito here! I just lost my girlfriend and you two are being lovey dovey!” whines Sungyeol, both of them laugh

“Whatever, let’s get back.” Said Myungsoo as he holds Sungjong’s hands to keep her warm while Hoya walks alone to their house

“Well it’s not bad, at least I have a new cute dress, thanks to Hayoung.” Said Sungjong

“Dongsaeng-ah, you used to hate dresses, you barely have one at home, if it wasn’t umma who bought it for you.” Said Hoya

“I know, but somehow I think I come to love being a bit girlish.” Answers Sungjong

At the meantime, both Jung Hee and Kibum are walking together, it was Kibum’s idea to walk Jung Hee home and he also wants to see the twins.

Back to Myungsoo and the twins. They reached the house first and Hoya just goes to his room because he doesn’t want to third-wheel the couple further.

“Yay! We’re alone now.” Said Myungsoo as they both sit on the sofa, Sungjong giggles as she leans on his shoulder

“But you’re being a bit mean today, what’s wrong?” asks Myungsoo

“Just because, I want to spend my time with my bestfriend as I spend my time with my precious boyfriend.” Answers Sungjong

“Awww my girlfriend is so cute.” Coos Myungsoo

“Aww my boyfriend is cute too, too jealous for his own good.” She coos back earning a pout from Myungsoo

“Jealous?” asks Myungsoo

“No skinship with a guy? What about my brother then? He’s a guy too.” She jokes

“He’s an exception.” Said Myungsoo

“How about royal members?” asks Sungjong

“Hmmm..”

“Sungyeol oppa?” she jokes

“Sungyeol oppa?” he repeats

“He’s like a brother to me.” Answers Sungjong playfully. 

“I dare you Lee Sungjong, I double dare you.” Said Myungsoo with a smirk

“Oh ho ho….. bring it on, Kim Myungsoo!” answers Sungjong

“You sure?” asks Myungsoo as he leans towards Sungjong, Sungjong backs away

“Wha—what?” she mumbles

“Hana…”

“Dul..”

“Set!” exclaims Myungsoo as he starts to tickle Sungjong

“Kyaaa—ahahahahaha--- Kim Myungsoo—ahahahah- stop it!! Yah!! It tickles!!!!” screams Sungjong as she tries to free herself from Myungsoo who was tickling her

“I will stop if you kiss me.” Coos Myungsoo as he continues, Sungjong manages to hold his hands and leans up to kiss him

“Wow, you’re good at handling me, I’m impressed.” Said Myungsoo, Sungjong gives a smirk

“Of course, I spend time a lot with you and even forget all my best friends in ROYALS.” She said with a glare, Myungsoo laughs and pulls her into a kiss once again.

Suddenly a bag falls down along and they hear a manly gasp, both Sungjong and Myungsoo pulls away and looks at them in shock.

“Umma?!”

“Sungjong?!”

“Abouji?!”

“Myungsoo?!”

“I think you should go home.” Said Jung Hee to Ki Bum

“You should go home, Myungsoo-ah.” Said Sungjong,

Myungsoo nods as he goes home with his father while Sungjong and Jung Hee have a talk plus Hoya who’s confused with all the commotion.

“What’s going on?” He asks, sitting down beside his sister.

“Oh it’s-”

“Umma! Are you dating Mr. Kim?” asks Sungjong

“Of course not, we’re just good friends.” Answers Jung Hee

“Then if you’re good friends why did you drop your bag, and gasp all of a sudden. Well I know you might not agree with me going out with him.” She mumbles

“Aniyo! Of course I agree!” exclaims Jung Hee with a smile

“Really mom? Really?” asks Hoya with an irritated face “I know you’re lying.” He said

“Fine… *sigh* Myungsoo’s father and I are dating. I’m so sorry.” Said Jung Hee

“But umma, why didn’t you tell any of us?” asks Hoya

“I want to tell you guys face to face and not by phone , I want to tell you face to face.” Said Jung Hee

“Umma, you do remember I went home on the first week of school don’t you?” asks Sungjong

“I’m not going out with him either.” Said Jung Hee

“When you meet me.” Said Sungjong

“When we both call?” asks Hoya , Jung Hee is now in pressure

The situation is not that different in Myungsoo’s house, probably worse. 

“So this is why you divorce with mother? Because of Mrs. Lee?!” he asks

“I want to ask for your opinion first, I don’t want things to get this complicated.” Answers Ki Bum

“Tsk. Like you would ask my opinion about your divorce with umma.” Scoffs Myungsoo “Why do you care about it now?” he asks  

“It’s because she was a good person, why would I date her if she’s not a good person.” Said Ki Bum

“What if I say no to you dating her mother, would you break up with her then?” he asks, Ki bum turns silent and sigh

“I don’t know.” He answers

At the meantime, Sungjong is lying on her bed thinking of what will happen if her mother and Mr. Kim would married. Does that mean Myungsoo would be her brother? Her and Myungsoo? As siblings? At this point her imagination comes in and starts to play.

“Yum ramyun~ Oppa-deul it’s ramyun time!!” she exclaims calling both of her brothers

“Yay!! Ramyun time, gomawou maknae-ah.” Said Hoya giving a pat on her head

“Gomawou Sungjonggie~” coos Myungsoo “let me carry that seems heavy.” He continues as he helps her putting the plates and all the food utensils on the table

“Gomawou myunggie oppa.” She answer shyly

“Okay let’s eat guys.” Said Hoya as the three of them are seated and they shared the ramyun in one bowl, suddenly one of the ramyun is connected to one another and it’s getting closer and closer and

“STOP!!!” it was not only Hoya’s voice but Sungjong’s voice

“Yeah…. it won’t work…. it’s just too weird…” Sungjong shakes her head in disapproval.

Suddenly her phone starts to vibrate and even ring, turns out Myungsoo is calling her.

“Yea?”

“Let’s meet at the school’s laundry room.” He said 

“Right now?” She asks.

“Yeah, right now.” Myungsoo answers.

At first Sungjong hesitates but complies anyway. It might be important. So she snuck out of the house and meets Myungsoo as the laundry room.

Without any bluffing or small talk, Myungsoo goes straight to the point.

“Okay, so what happen?” Asks Myungsoo

“Well she told me they are good friends and are just shocked that we are going out..” said Sungjong

“Well my father said that they were dating and wants to ask for my opinion, isn’t it weird.” Answers Myungsoo

“Hmm very weird indeed.” Sungjong nods agreeing to it.

“I think we need a plan.” Said Myungsoo

“Yeah we do.” Answers Sungjong “But what plan?” she asks, Myungsoo smirks as he tells her the plan.

The next day, they both decide to tell both parents to meet them. Sungjong meets Ki Bum at the park while Myungsoo meets Jung Hee at her restaurant with a flower such a sweet boy. At the park, Ki Bum is there waiting for his son to arrive but turns out, it was Sungjong.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Kim.” She greets

“Eh? Isn’t is supposed to be Myungsoo who’s meeting me?” he asks

“Ani, it was me.” She answers “Want some lemon biscuits?” she asks

“Aigoo, thank you.” Said Ki Bum as he takes some of the lemon biscuits.

Just like Myungsoo, Sungjong goes straight to the point with it to save time since doing small talk with a lawyer of a success law firm just isn’t cutting it for her.

“Mr. Kim, you notice Myungsoo and I are dating right?” she asks

“Of course, he told me.” Said Ki Bum “Why so?”

“Remember when we meet at the hospital? He was actually the one who saved me from falling through the stairs.” Said Sungjong

“What? Myungsoo did that?” he asks, Sungjong nods

“He was actually a very kind person behind his cold appearance, he was also caring and sweet, a bit cheesy sometimes.” She said

“Wow! That was a total opposite of him when he was with me, you can make him open up to you.” Said Ki Bum, Sungjong giggles

“he was also caring to everyone and sometimes he would put them before him.” She adds

“Really? He did ?” he asks, Sungjong nods

“I was actually really selfish myself, it all changes until I met him.” Answers Sungjong

Meanwhile at Junghee's restaurant, here is Myungsoo with a bouquet full of white roses, trying to woo Mrs. Lee so she'd agree to him and Sungjong dating. 

“Good afternoon, Mrs. Lee.” He said with a smile, Jung Hee gasp as she receives white roses, her favorite kind of flower

“Aigoo these are beautiful.” Said Jung Hee “wait, am I supposed to meet my daughter?” she asks

“Ani, it was me.” He said, Jung Hee nods

“Anyway, Mrs. Lee I know this will offend you a bit, but Sungjong and I are dating just like how you and my father.” Said Myungsoo

“I know that, I saw you kissing on my sofa yesterday, Aigoo you two.” She jokes, Myungsoo gives an awkward grin

‘She’s the same as Sungjong, or was it all the way around. Eh, guess it runs in the family..’ He thought

“Mrs. Lee remember when I was hospitalized?” he asks

“Oh yes, why?” she asks

“I was actually saving your daughter so she won’t fall down the stairs and I fall down instead.” Said Myungsoo

“Aigoo poor you, is it still that bad?” she asks

“Ani, it was healed.” Answers Myungsoo

“*sigh* okay Kim Myungsoo, get ready for my questions, Lee Howon!!” she said before calling her eldest son

“Aiish umma—what the! What the heck are you doing here?!” exclaims Hoya

“Hush!” scolds Jung Hee “sit down.” She said, Hoya pouts as he sits down beside his mom still chatting with his girlfriend

“So… why do you like my daughter?” asks Jung Hee

“Aigoo how should I start.” Mumbles Myungsoo feeling shy as Hoya glares at him

“Hurry up.” Whines Hoya

“I actually got close to her just for fun, but now I’m grateful I meet her, she trust me and it influence me to believe in others.” Said Myungsoo

“Aigoo my daughter has found a good boyfriend.” Coos Jung Hee “and a handsome one. Oh wait! I’ve met you before.” She said, Myungsoo chuckles

“Oh yeah, we did.” Said Myungsoo “Sungjong is just like you, she was as pretty as you.” He compliments to get his heart and agree to him dating Sungjong (a/n: wrong move bruh)

“Omo, really? Aigoo, you’ve flattered me.” Said Jung Hee “Just like you father.” She continues (a/n: I told you…)

That night at school, they both share about their meeting,

“So… what happen?” asks Myungsoo

“well your father is shocked.” She said “I feel bad for him.” She continues

“Heol! Your mother is so calm and yet your brother kept on glaring daggers to me *shivers*” said Myungsoo, Sungjong sigh

“If this is the situation then it is settled that they both won’t get married.” Said Myungsoo

“If so, why am I feeling sad?” she asks

“What? Why?” asks Myungsoo in shock

At the same time Jung Hee and Ki Bum meets again

“So… well they’re dating.” Said Ki Bum

“I know, what are we going to do about it?” asks Jung Hee “Should we give up our love for them?” she asks

“*chuckles* Sungjong is just like you, I still can’t believe that she was the one who opened Myungsoo’s heart when I can’t.” said Ki Bum

“of course! She was my daughter.” Answers Jung Hee “So… what are we going to do?” asks Jung Hee

After winter break, everyone is back to their dormitory and back to their school schedules including Sungyeol who is now walking through the hallways and surprised that his father is there

“A—abouji!” he gasps

“You’re grades are dropping I see.” Said Mr. Kim

“Ju—jusuamida! I will increase them, please spare me!” he exclaims

“You’ve been joining that cheerleading club am I right?!” asks Mr. Kim, Sungyeol whimpers

“Answer me when I ask you!” scolds Mr. Kim

“Ne—neh abouji.” Answers Sungyeol who whimpers, he earns a punch on his face

“You should quit that club and focus on your studies.” Said Mr. Kim as he leaves, Sungyeol sighs as he sits down hugging his knees

‘Wh—what should I do?’ he thought

“Sung—Sungyeol! Are you okay? OMG! What happen?!” gasps Sungjong as she helps him stand up

“Oppa, what happen?” asks Ha Young worriedly

“The usual.” He answer

“This is getting to far.” Said Hayoung as Sungjong nods agreeing to her.

“Let’s tell this to Myungsoo oppa.” She adds, Sungjong nods as they both ran to the club room while Sungyeol stays there, trying to calm himself.

“Oppa!!/Myungsoo!!” Ha Young and Sungjong call in unison, Myungsoo stops at his tracks and turns around as soonas he hears his name

“What’s wrong? Why are you guys so panicked like that?” he asks

“Sungyeol oppa…” hearing his best friend’s name was enough for Myungsoo to get the situation

“where is he?” he asks

“The hall way! Pali!” she exclaims as both girls drag Myungsoo to the hall way but finds Sungyeol missing

“Where is he?! He was just here about minutes ago.” Said Sungjong

“I’ll call him.” Said Myungsoo as he calls Sungyeol but receives no answer

“Aiish this must be Mr. Lee again.” Said Myungsoo, Sungjong and Ha Young nods

That night, Sungyeol is back to school after all the beating he gets from his father, he whimpers in pain as he gets back to school

“Sungyeol!!” Sungjong calls out “Omo, are you okay? What happen?!” she asks

“Oh, it’s nothing. I just fell from the dorm stairs.” Answers Sungyeol, Sungjong sigh and nods

“Okay then, but you have to get treated, it seems to be that you’re really in pain.” Said Sungjong

“Just go. I don’t’ want you to see me like this.” Said Sungyeol

“Okay, I will go. But get yourself treated okay?” she said as she turns away to leave but Sungyeol hugs her from behind.

“Don’t leave me, it hurts so much.” He said as he sobs, Sungjong’s eyes widen

“Okay, I won’t go. I will take you to the infirmary. okay? Let’s go.” Said Sungjong as she helps him walk to the infirmary and makes him sits there

“Sit there and don’t leave.” Said Sungjong as she starts to search the whole place for any related medicine

“Aiish it’s not here. I should tell Myungsoo, he knows everything.” She mumbles which is audible for the latter

“Don’t, I don’t want Myungsoo to see me like this.” Said Sungyeol

“Ahem! Too late hyung.” said Myungsoo as he appears on the door way

“Myungsoo.” Sungjong gasp

“Here we go again.” He mumbles as he goes to the medicine box and finds the medicine for his pain

“You need to go Sungjonggie, don’t worry about him.” Said Myungsoo

“But Myunggie, I want to stay.” She said

“Just go, he will open his shirt or more, you want to see that?” he asks, Sungjong shook her head as she rushes out

“So is it about your grades again?” asks Myungsoo as he once again take care of his best friend

“Yeah.” Said Sungyeol with a sheepish smile

Meanwhile, Sungjong just stares at the ceiling confusedly, she still remembers his back hug

“Boy problems?” asks Naeun, Sungjong sigh and nods

“Tell me.” She smirks, Sungjong tells everything to her as she hugs her pillow and nearly throwing it out of rage

“Mwo?! Sungyeol oppa? Impossible!” exclaims Naeun

“SHHHHSSSHSHSHS.” Shush Sungjong

“Sorry… anyway how are you and Myungsoo? Are you two really going to be siblings?” she asks, Sungjong shrugs

“I don’t know, let’s just wait for the results.” She answers “Naeun-ah, tomorrow’s school you need to sleep.” She said, Naeun nods as she goes back to her bed to sleep (a/n: her bed is on top of Sungjong just saying)

Meanwhile, Myungsoo is right now sitting alone at the stairs, he actually saw Sungyeol hugging Sungjong. He can’t believe Sungyeol would like the same girl as him and didn’t tell him?! Maybe if he did he’d back away and let Sungyeol have her instead. He must’ve added more pain to him by dating the girl that they both like.

“Should’ve back away when I had the chance… I keep on hurting people…” Myungsoo said with a sigh.

The next day , Myungsoo’s smiles appears again as he sees Sungjong who is sitting alone but frowns at her sad face

“What’s wrong?” he asks

“Aniyo… something’s off about Sungyeol.” Said Sungjong

“Hmm it’s just the usual, he told me that his grades are dropping.” Answers Myungsoo

“Really? Well he seems to drop his scores a bit lately.” Said Sungjong

 “Annd speaking of scores….” Said Myungsoo

“Mmm?”

“Need some tutoring again?” he asks, Sungjong looks at him confusedly

“With a condition of course.” he said with a smirk

“what condition?” she asks

“You have to give me lots of love~” he coos, Sungjong scoffs

“Mwo? Lots of love? I can even give that without your tutoring thank you very much.” She said

Meanwhile on the other side of the school,

“Mrs. Kwon I need to quit the cheerleading club.” He said

“What? But why?” asks Mrs. Kwon

“I just don’t want to be involved in such things.” He said

“Do you have any more reasonable reason?” she asks

“Actually…. Both of your jobs will be in trouble if I don’t quit the team.” Answers Sungyeol as he leaves even before Mrs. Kwon could say anything.
