The Following Days…
The Day before the so-called Vital Day….
Kibum, Minho, Onew and Taemin…

While Minho and Taemin are having a good chat, Kibum and Onew are located on another room having a one-way view having a good chats as well…

Kibum:             (carefully watching the brothers) Hyung…
                        Believe it or not… I know it is selfish of me to say this…
                        I equally love Minho and Taemin…
                        I know Taemin did something appalling
                        but take it in a different perspective.
                        Taemin helped me to take the world one day at a time
                        by isolation - allowing me to experience to be myself
                        and not pressured by various demanding situations...

                        And thus one by one, reintroducing me to the world
                        to which I really belong one step at a time.
                        I give him credit for that. He has been generous
                        with me taking really good care of me
                        and thus as a result has become his life as well.

                        Back then, I already realized the intensity of
                        Taemin’s feelings towards me however
                         I chose not to give him something to look forward to
                         hence he knew that I was falling in love with Minnie
                         who patiently and generously have been loving me
                         since we were kids which of course,I failed to realize it til…

                         (touching his chin) he confessed to me
                         when we had our two week vacation in Denmark and Paris…

                          But, I never realized Taemin’s determination
                          to persistently pursue me.
                          I remember him telling me that I have become his shining star
                          from above for him to follow and ultimately to be with…

                          He is just amazing as Minnie, both of them are pure
                          when it comes to matter about love.
                          I am so blessed to be loved by these two wonderful people…

                          But hyung…?

Onew:             (surprised) Hah… Kibum-ssi… what is it…?

Kibum:             (smiles at Onew’s reaction) I am sorry for startling you…

Onew:             (smiles too) It is alright…
                       I just kind of somehow to engage in listening to you
                       about Taemin and Minho…
                       and I agree with you that they are both delightfully remarkable.

Kibum:             (takes a deep breath and exhales loudly) yeah…
                        but now that I am back to the reality that requires me
                        to do the right thing… I know I need to decide…

Onew:             (nods) I understand…

Kibum:             Hyung… please help me…
                        I know it is going to be a long process…
                        and a hard one take on…
                        could you spare more quality time with Taemin…?

Onew:             (shocked) Hah…?

Kibum:             (smiles gently) It is alright by me Hyung…
                        no matter what happens from today onwards…
                        please do that for me…

Onew:             (confused) Don’t you think that is strange…?

Kibum:             (nods) You know why…?

Onew:             (nods) Yeah… If you don’t mind…

Kibum:             (smiles and looks at Minho) I know Minnie very well.
                        I can easily read what’s in his mind;
                        especially his various body languages...
                        Thanks to growing up together and him always open with me
                         showing me his strengths and weaknesses…
                         I know him so well…

Onew:             (nodding but still confused) I am getting you Kibum-ssi
                        but I still do not understand where you are heading at…

Kibum:             (points at Minho) Hyung… look at Minnie… Is he happy?

Onew:             (nods) Yes, as far as I can see… He is happy…

Kibum:             (shakes his head) No… hyung…
                        look at his body movements…

                        (looks back at Onew) I know he is not…

Onew:             (sighs) Kibum-ssi… I wish I can analyse much better
                       but I can only assume from what I see
                       however since I did not grow up with him so,
                       my observation is probably wrong…

Kibum:             (nods) yeah… I know something is troubling him…
                        I know he is planning on something…
                        and I can sense what these brothers are going to agree on…

Onew:             (shocked) Really…!?

Kibum:             (nods) Yes… hyung…
                        that is why I am requesting from you
                        that no matter what happens… please get close with Taemin…

Onew:             (agrees) I will Kibum-ssi…

Kibum:             (smiles) Thank you very much Onew-hyung…
                        I believe your happiness and my happiness
                        will rely on your proceedings.
                        You are my only hope in this matter…

Onew realizing what Kibum is getting at, gapes and smiles at the latter – instinctually claps his hands for several times making Kibum laugh at his actions.

“Thank you Hyung… good luck…”
 

“Thanks Kibum-ssi…”

The Following Day…
Turning-point Moment…

While all of them are at Taemin’s bed chatting happily, Minho gets a call from Jonghyun as he excuses him self from the group, he is stopped by Kibum requesting  to talk to infront of everyone…

Kibum:             (taps the bed) It is alright Bummie…
                        you may answer the call… wait… is it a video call…?
                        If not, can you request for a video call…?

Minho:             (nods and answers Jonghyun) Jonghyun-hyung…?
                        Please switch to video call…
                        Bummie, Onew and Taemin are here to join the conversation…

                        (looks at Kibum) Bummie…
                        I think, why not hook  it up to a much bigger screen…?

Taemin:           (happy tone) Why not…
                        let’s do it so I can see the kids as well…
                        and I can initially introduce myself as well…

                         (looks at his condition) well… not totally appropriate
                         but I am really excited to meet them… if it’s alright…

Minho:             (nods and smiles) Taemin… it is alright…
                        kids would not mind… I tell you Taemin…
                        you will love them instantly…

                        (back to talking with Jonghyun) Hyung…
                        did you get that…?
                        And do the same as well…
                        plug in to a much bigger screen so you,
                        Yuri-noona and the kids can see all of us…
