Several Hours Have Passed…              

Kibum quietly approaches Onew who in turn notices the other coming – raises his face up to face Kibum then smiles at the latter saying…

Onew:             (smiling) Kibummie, Taemin is pretty stable now.
                       Anytime today, he might wake up…

Kibum:             (smiles) Thank you very much Hyung.
                        You have been a great help actually…

                       (bows his head and thinks then faces Onew)
                       Hyung, I need to call Minnie… He needs to know…
 

Onew:             (nods) He will come as soon you call him
                       but I suggest not telling what happened to Taemin…
                       I am most worried he might drive so fast to come here…

Kibum:             (nods) I agree...

Just as Kibum gets his phone to call on Minho, his phone rings making him jump to his feet saying…

Kibum:             (takes a deep breath) It is Minnie…
                        I can sense he is worried…

Onew:             (nods) Brothers…

Kibum:             (stands near Taemin’s bed) Yes…
                       (then answers Minho’s call) Minnie…Hi…
                       I need you to come to the private hospital…
                       I will tell you as soon as you arrive alright…?

                       Please be careful on your way…and the kids…
                       Please ask Jonghyun hyung and
                       Yuri noona to take care of them…

                       Alright… I will wait for you… I am with Onew hyung…
                       bye…take care… wait…! Give me a call once you arrived,
                       I will come and meet you at the lobby…ok…? See you…

                      (looks at Onew and says) Hyung…
                      I don’t know how he will react… I am worried…
 

Onew:             (sighs) Kibummie…
                       knowing Minho-goon and seeing Taemin is fine now…
                       I think, it will be alright…
                       What I am worried is when Taemin wakes up…

Kibum:             (sits on a chair and breathes heavily)
                        I feel it is not going to be easy… 

                       (looks at Onew) Hyung… I need your help…
 

Onew:             (looks at Kibum) Anytime Kibummie…
                       what kind of help do you need…?

Kibum:             (thinking of what he just witnessed but withdraws the idea)
                        uuuhhmm… perhaps some other time hyung…

Onew:             (nods) Okay… just let me know…

Kibum:             Thank you hyung…
                         I need to call Mr. Taeyang after Minho arrives and
                        (looks at Onew) Hyung…
                        there is something that I need to tell you…

Onew:             (surprised) What is it, Kibum-ssi…?

Kibum:             (hesitates) Uuuhhmm… I am the father of the twins…

Onew:             (smiles) It is no longer a surprise to me Kibum-ssi…

Kibum:             I guess you will say the same thing as what Taeminnie told me...

Onew:             (raises eyebrows) What…?

Kibum:             It shows in the kids physical features and personalities…

Onew:             (nods and smiles) Yeah… beautiful and smart…

Kibum:             (smiles) Yes… I am very lucky… Hyung…?

Onew:             Yes, Bummie…?

Kibum:             I want to be with my family…
                        but I do not want to leave Taemin alone…
                        I love him as well… I do not have the heart to hurt him…

Onew:             (bows his head) I know…
                       he deeply loves you so much…

                       (raises his head) Kibum-ssi…?
 

Kibum:             Yes… hyung…?

Onew:             There is something that I need to confess to you…
                       but I prefer to confess it infront of Minho…

Kibum:             (surprised) Minnie…?
                        (then quiets down) Okay then…
                        if that is what you wish, let us wait for Minnie to arrive…
 
                        (checks his watch) He will here in a little while…
 

Onew:             (takes a deep breath) hhhmm…. Alright…
                       (looks at Kibum) Kibum-ssi, you may rest if you want…
                       I will look after Taemin…

Kibum:             (shakes his head) Nnnoo… You have helped enough…
                        but wait… I will cook food, alright…?

Onew:             (smiles) Ok… don’t worry, leave Taemin to me…

Kibum:             (nods) Thank you Onew hyung…
 

Just right after Kibum finishes preparing their meal, his phone rings…

“Minnie… are you down there…?
Yeah… wait for me, I will get you…ok…”

Gets out of the kitchen area to inform Onew about Minho’s arrival…

“Hyung… Minnie is here, I will be back…
Taeminnie… please…?”

“Go on… I will take care of him”
Replies Onew…

Kibum hurriedly gets out of the room and while on his way, he maintains a calm and collected behavior as it is not an easy thing to do for even thinking og the most positive way of dealing with it.  He can sense that Minho will partly blame himself for what happened to Taemin and he does not like that – to put a damper on Minho’s cheerful and optimistic energy nor to might even pick up some resentment, vindictiveness and indifference towards the whole scenario. Kibum stops for a moment to take a deep breath and sighs loudly.

Walking aimlessly towards a huge hallway, he suddenly bumps into someone causing him to jump off his feet in shock. He quickly raises his face up to check on who is it and surprise to see Minho meeting him halfway saying…

“Minnie…?”

“(hugs Kibum) Bummie…
sorry I can not wait to wait for you…
so I decided to walk to so we could meet halfway…”

Kibum:             (hugs Minho back tightly) Silly Minnie…
                        (then releases from Minho’s hug and  says)
                        Minnie…? Look at me…

Minho:             (wondering reaction) Bummie… what is wrong…?

Kibum:             (looks for a place to sit down) Come…
                        let us sit over there…

Minho:             (scrunches his eyebrows) aahh…?
                       Uuuhhhmmm… okey…
