Morning Comes…
Taemin and Kibum…

Nearing the break of dawn and Taemin slowly waking up instinctively makes a poignant satisfied smile finding Kibum by his side – he decides not to utter a single word of greeting Kibum nor making amove to show sweetness to the latter as he chooses to remain a quiet alone moment with him.  Wide awake by his self, Taemin remembers clearly the happy times when Kibum was solely focusing on him…

“Baby Tae… I love you so much…
I am so happy I have you by my side…”
Kibum said…

Tears start to envelop in Taemin’s eyes again and thus, realizing that he has again arrived in this condition again fights back allowing not a single tear drops on Kibum’s body as he does not want the other to be awakened and this alone moment with him be taken away again; he carefully raises his left right hand and cautiously wipe his tears thinking to himself…

“Why it has come to this…?
Please do not wake up Key remain who you were from two years ago…please…”

And so, he closes his eyes and wraps his arms around Kibum’s body which the latter unconsciously recognizes by holding him close in a cuddle. Taemin giggles happily feeling moment like this is what makes him so in high spirits and contented and giving in, he lifts his face to check on Kibum’s condition – remain steadily quiet like a cat surveying a prey – so silent and cautious, and whe he is sure that Kibum is sleeping like a log, carefully pulls his body upward with his face infront of Kibum staring at the latter intensely inspecting every part of Kibum’s face like there is no tomorrow.

To finalize his satisfaction, he then kisses Kibum’s lips remaining connected for several seconds before detaching his lips then spends the whole time staring at Kibum’s beautiful face and at this moment unconsciously utters…

“Key….I can not bear losing you…
if I have to lose you I might as well end my life…hhmm…
you are the reason why I keep living…”

Little does he know, Kibum has already awakened a minute ago exactly the time he has uttered the word so that after hearing Taemin’s statement, Kibum shocked by the other’s assertion chooses not to react and not to open his eyes but sensing the other’s condition. He could not believe what he is hearing from the other’s mouth thinking ….

“Taemin…do not ever do it…
just because of me…!”

His moment of contemplation is suddenly interrupted when…

“Key….Key…good morning, please wake up…hey…”

Taemin waking him up; he then gathers enough energy just to have a calm and steady temperament rather than being agitated and troubled reacting on Taemin’s downright words. He softly opens his eyes then smiles at Taemin staring in a happy mood at him saying…

“Hhhmmm… Taeminnie… good morning…
(embracing Taemin and kissing the latter’s crown)
how well did you sleep last night…?”

Taemin:           (giggles) It was wonderful…
                        I slept soundly and peacefully…

                        (suddenly turns his face to search for something)
                        hhmm… where is…?
 

Kibum:             (hugs Taemin) I know… I put it back…
                        you were desperately hugging it last night where I found you…

Taemin:           aaahhh….
                        (immediately quiets down) Sorry for making you worry…

Kibum:             (takes a deep breath) I am sorry too for my shortcomings nowadays…
                        (looks at Taemin and checks on any possible negative reactions) Baby…?

Taemin:           (gurgled tone) yee..arrhh…? Key…?

Kibum:             Did you know that Minho adopted kids and Twins in fact…

Taemin simply nods with eyes downcasted, Kibum noticing it tries to lighten the manner of how he delivers his statement…

“The twins are both beautiful and smart…
energetic and funny…
they have met the entire family including Papa…
Auntie Sooyoung …
I believed called you to come over but you declined…
(puffs) I understand…
(then suddenly)…

“I saw them Key… Mommy sent me images of the kids…
(nods and looks at Kibum)
And they all look like you…
(looks away from Kibum)…”

“(shocked) Taeminnie…what are you saying…”
 

Taemin:           (looks back and now wearing a sad face)
                        Key…
                        I remember how exactly you like when
                        you were a toddler despite the fact that
                        I have not personally met you due to Minho-hyungs possessiveness…                       
                        but thank you that hyung was not selfish
                        showing at least few pictures of you growing up…

Kibum:             (surprised hearing Taemin’s revelation)
                        Ha…?! What do you mean…?

Taemin:           (forces a smile) Key…honey…
                        you are Minho hyung’s life and I am totally aware
                        of that since we were small. He’d show me pictures of you
                         – prior allowing me to look at all your pictures,
                         he would brag about you expressing in a manner
                         liken to a girl bloomingly inlove that it had become annoyingly irritating…

                        (looks at Kibum) Not because of you but him
                        – I was annoyed by him for the reason that
                        he would talk a lot about you but
                        he would not let me have a glimpse of how you look like.

                        Just one fine day, hyung was in a mood that accidentally
                        he unsuspectingly invited me to his room and that was the start…
                        I could not blame him cause when the moment
                        I saw you in one of his “Your Pictures” collection….

                       (takes a deep breath and puffs soundly)
                        I instantly have fallen in love with you too….but secretly…

Kibum:             (gasps) Ooohh!!

Taemin:           So looking at the twins, I can sense that they are yours…
                        (cups Kibum’s face) You can deny it but my instinct tells me so…
                        Key…
                        all of your features are screaming in both twins’ faces…
                        oh my good grief…

                        (smiles) they are both so pretty and lovely…
                        I bet they are pretty intelligent as well…right…?
 

Kibum:             (nods softly) Yes… Taeminnnie…

Taemin:           (hugs Kibum) I love you Key… You are my life…

                        (sighs) Minho hyung is so darn lucky to be honest…
                        so lucky that it hurts so much to even think about…
                        what if…I had become Minho hyung…
                        like I was born the eldest…
                        I could have been the happiest person in the world…

Kibum:             (hugs back) Taeminnie… I love you too…
                        and you know that…
