                            Minho’s Decision… Taemin’s Life and His Chase…

Days pass by….

Days after they left; without his parents, Minho’s lives have become miserable – thinking like nothing’s going to get better. In many cases, however, he would in high spirits, continuously do his routine, unknown to Jonghyun, visiting Kibum’s room and leaving messages on small piece of paper and keeping them inside Kibum’s drawer. Instead of maintaining his journal in his own room, he has decided to keep his journal at Kibum’s room where he’s never missed to update events about his life regardless high or low. By doing this, it has helped him in getting rid of some of the continuing pains.

As to Jonghyun, after weeks of witnessing Minho’s heart wrenching scenarios, he could no longer take the energy to watch him suffering like a heartbroken addict – making repeated attempts to “get better” that be unsuccessful almost before he could even take on a mission of solidifying himself. He understands that Minho is passing a kind of stage in which anyone who has been left behind by his love one – in this case - Kibum, thus leaving behind to wrestle with the aftermath of dealing with his life without his beloved other by his side.

Knowing how Minho has continuously love Kibum, Jonghyun has been controlling his concerns witnessing his cousin’s staying afloat and managing to be happy for some extended periods of times before relapsing and, sadly, losing his momentum and returning to slump conditions as a result. Just like this time, in one of their hang-out routines, it has happened again…thus… 

Jonghyun squats beside Minho to comfort him…

“What you have for Bummie is real love and because of love, I say, Minho I think at this moment, it is alright to drop a little deeper, I know it is going to be as hard as you have said but this is reality, I think… but I have faith that things will get better in the future…”

And Jonghyun further adds;

“But keep this in mind Minho-ssi, the world revolves – it changes, of that time, I am suspicious of how much your feelings will remain – yes; perhaps there is still might be however, I guess we can not help it that circumstances change and people change as well; and you…you might also change for what it is… I exactly would not know…

Minho keeps quiet then Jonghyun puts his arms around his shoulder then both of them look  each other, they smile and nod, Jonghyun saying…

“Let’s hope for the best and move on…”

“I heard that line before…”

Minho replies…

Minho raises his head to look at Jonghyun who gives him an encouraging smile; he smiles in return and puts his arms on Jonghyun’s shoulder for reassurance.  Then Minho stands up and taps the other’s shoulder signaling to get going – leaving the place, he somehow manages to gain a bit of courage to handle his current situation and so thankful enough that he has Jonghyun right now to accompany him with.

Months pass by....

Jonghyun has started his own career as a free lancer in the following fields; an illustrator, a fashion designer and at night takes on different unwinding jobs as a disc jockey at times a singer. He is mostly contented enjoying the outputs of his taking chances and now, wants to help Minho recover gradually.

As for Minho, when able to develop confidence and can properly function without the needed “getting better” time dealing with his ongoing personal battle, Minho has decided to take on looking for a job. He religiously applies to several companies for a position regardless of job stature fitting for him. Then after a week, he successfully gets one as an apprentice at a local architecture consultancy firm. He makes the most out of what he had learned in college and heartedly gains knowledge from senior or well-experienced people. After several weeks, he receives a memorandum from the HR Department informing him that he has successfully gain the trust of the company and has now earn a permanent employee status.

After several months, this has now become what we call their daily lives…

Minho:             (yelling voice) yyyaah… Jonghyun hyung, you are wearing my stuffs again… how many
                        times I have to tell not to… aaiisshh…

Jonghyun:       (smiling) Minho-ssi … good thing someone patronizes your boring fashion sense… what
                        the heck are those colors… gray…blue…black…brown… then printed gray…then blue…
                        then…black… then brown… and stripped gray… then blue… aaahhh…. We could go on
                        and on in different style but same boring colors…

Minho:             (gasps) look who’s talking – are you even crazy for someone fashion designer like you to
                        wear my clothes – like I offered…

Jonghyun:       (smirking) he he he Minho-ssi, let me tell you that I am just trying to see if they look good
                        on me…

Minho:             (grumbling) aaayyaa…. Sorry for not having a great fashion sense but at least I have 
                        sense for good height…

Jonghyun:       (whining voice) what the heck is that you’re even spouting… belittling my height for
                        goodness sake…

Minho:             (smirking) serves you right for criticizing my manner of clothing…

Jonghyun:       (laughs so hard) oh… my god… you can not even say fashion sense for crying out loud….
                        You do sound like an old man…Minho-ssi…
                        (puts his arms across Minho’s shoulder) come on… get a life… don’t waste your life feeling
                        old…. Your beloved Bummie will not like it… hhhhmmmm…. 
                        (hands on his chin) I am thinking of a good thing to start with….

Minho:             (wondering) Hyung… what are you up to this time…. Don’t tell me we are going to crash
                        parties again… you really are a horrible person… you know…

Jonghyun:       (beaming) That is me… I love thrill… something that excites me gives me good satisfaction
                        you know…  so what can we do…
                        (quickly looks at Minho) come on… let’s go meet some girls… by the way, to tell you 
                        bluntly… you…my cousin Minho has not yet treated me for a blow out after getting a good
                        job… have you?

Minho:             (gasps) what the heck are you saying? Did I tell you that I am not into girls… treating you is
                        not a problem just include unnecessary things…

Jonghyun:       (yells) yyyaaahhh… Minho… you said you’re only gay for that Kibum… otherwise if not
                        him… you’d go for girls…

Minho:             (gulps) hhhmm… I really don’t like hyung… it’d be so troublesome…

Jonghyun:       (whines) Come on… Minho-ssi… but at least you need to get a life and not like this… work-
                        home-work-home… It really looks pathetic to me… here I am enjoying my life and there
                        you are sort of monk-ing? My god…. Minho… get a life!! You will definitely grow old… give
                        yourself a chance to meet others… it is not bad after all once you are into our world
                        again…

Minho:             (gives up) ok…ok… hyung… coz if I don’t agree… you will not give up annoying me
                        anyway…fine… whatever you like…
                        (raises his hand to a full stop manner) but clean living alright… coz… I am not like you…
                        who himself too much for attention sakes.

Jonghyun:       (gasps) ppfftt… show some respect… miser…

Minho:             (gasps) now I am a miser?

Jonghyun:       yes you definitely are… my god… you are not planning to be someone like an “extremely
                        rich person” are you?

Minho:             (shakes his head) you don’t make sense hyung… come on… where do you want to go?

Jonghyun:       (louder voice) YES!!!
