Paris Arrival…..

Arriving in Paris in the afternoon, they are transported to a place they know nothing of thus Leeteuk asks Sooyoung discreetly about their destination which the latter just shakes her head stating she doesn’t have any idea. After half an hour of travel, they now reach a beautiful huge Mansion – Sooyoung and Leeteuk get all excited to see the Kim’s family again. As expected, Jessica and Heechul open the main entrance to welcome them and the household members get their entire luggage. 

Jessica runs as soon as she sees Sooyoung stepping out of the car, screaming…

“Eonnie….. Eonnie…. Eonnie!!!”

Upon hearing Jessica voice calling her, Sooyoung raises her face and overwhelmed by Jessica’s excitement thus tears automatically fall down on her cheeks; she too runs and hugs her tight and says…

Sooyoung:       (sobbing, overwhelmed by her own emotions upon seeing Jessica) Jessie…
                        I miss you even though we always talk on the phone… I really do…my gosh …

Jessica:           (wiping Sooyoung tears) Me too… Eonnie… 
                        (releases her hug) Hello Teukkie… and kids…

Heechul:          (hugs Leeteuk) Hyung… It’s been awhile… I miss all of you…

Leeteuk:          (taps Heechul’s back) Me too… me too…
                        (sighs) goodness… I thought it is going to be til next two years we are
                        going to see you…

Jessica:           (waves for Minho and Taemin) Minnie and Taeminnie… no hug for Auntie and Uncle?

Minho and Taemin smiling hurriedly hug Jessica as well as Heechul while Jonghyun dazes watching the whole scenario unfolding before his eyes particularly when he sees Jessica and Heechul entrancing gorgeousness – he feels like befalling into a different world, he could not move nor speak but just manages to be in complete awe.

He feels like he is in a dream with these two people and smiles foolishly when he sees Jessica and Heechul walking towards him to greet him,

“Hello…. How are you Jonghyun… can I call you Jonggie…?”

as if in cue, Jonghyun nods his head like a kid – nodding continuously but not a single word is he able to manage to utter. He remains in his current condition even when Jessica and Heechul already turn his back from him. Suddenly, his face changes to an anguish state when his view of Jessica and Heechul is blocked by what he sees over towering obstruction…hearing calling his name from what he feels afar…makes him more agitated….

“Jonghyun hyung….hey hyung….Jonghyun hyung…hey…let’s go…”

Jonghyun:       (gasps) ha…??

Minho:             (shaking Jonghyun) Hyung…let’s go… you were like gaping the whole time…
                        Aunt Jessica and Uncle Heechul greeted you a while ago ….
                        Aaiisshh… you were embarrassing Hyung…
                        You did not even manage to greet them back…

Jonghyun:       (put his left hand on his mouth) they did? Oh my god… I thought it was just a dream…

Taemin:           (chuckling) that’s fine Hyung… we are no longer surprised…

Jonghyun:       (nudges Minho and Taemin) Who are they? Oh my god… Minho, Taemin …
                        They are so beautiful… I mean looking at them I thought I was sent somewhere
                        in a different world or something…

Minho:             They are Kibum’s parents…

Jonghyun:       (gasps) your portrait wall…I mean the portrait on the wall … the beautiful one…
                        (puckering his lips) they… parents?

Taemin:           (chuckling) Hyung… you are not making sense at all… Yes…
                        They are Kibum’s parents … Aren’t they wonderful….
                        You should see Key hyung in personal… you will be surprised…
                        The portrait you saw is nothing when you see him upclose and personal…

Minho:             (pulling  Jonghyun’s hand) Come… hyung, let’s go inside…

Jonghyun:       (coming back to his senses, asks) Minho… is that their house? !! It is so huge…

Minho:             (sighs) aaiisshh… Hyung… please stop making a fool out of yourself… 
                        Control your emotions, will you… please…

Jonghyun:       (throws Minho’s hand) yyaahh… I am just human… you know…
                        probably all of you are already accustomed to these kinds of surroundings and people…
                        well… sorry I am not…

Minho:             (sighs) fine… fine… sorry Hyung…

Jonghyun:       (smiles) don’t worry guys… I understand situations…

Minho:             (raises an eyebrow) So say…is it alright if we ask a request?

Jonghyun:       (turns to face Minho) and that would be what?

Minho:             What you see and hear…. Leave it here…

Jonghyun:       (puzzled) ha?... ok… I don’t know what is going on but I am ok with it…

Taemin:           (smiles) let’s go then… they are waiting inside…

When the three guys enter the mansion, they are all surprised by the greetings of the welcoming household members then the household in charge leads them where their parents and the others are. Inside the conference room, as expected, they have been waiting for them to be on the scene thus they quickly set themselves comfortably… As to Jonghyun who still doesn’t have a slightest clue of the people he is meeting as well as the situation, observes; then Jessica speaks…

Jessica:           So Taeminnie… what made you decide to study here in Paris?

Taeminnie:      I just thought Paris is the best place for me to pursue Arts…

Heechul:          That is good Taeminne… if it is Arts, what in particular are you interested in?

Taeminnie:      mostly in the entertainment field like theater arts, music and dance, study different
                        cultures…etc… but right now I would like to concentrate in singing and dancing
                        then theater arts…

Jessica:           (gasps) nice one Taeminnie… and do you have a school you wish to enroll yourself in?

Taemin:           Yes, Auntie… Conservatoire de Paris...

Jessica:           (smiles) Nice one… Taeminnie… and by the way, before we forget, come here…

Taemin goes towards Jessica and sits besides her gazing clueless… much more surprised when she embraces and kisses him on the forehead, gets his left hand and places something on his palm…

Jessica:           (smiling) by the way congratulation for graduating with honors and this is our gift for you…

Taemin:           (confused, opens the envelope and finds a key) Auntie… a key?

Jessica:           Yes… a place of your own…

Taemin:           (surprised) but how did you find out Auntie…?

Jessica:           (hugs Taemin) We have ways of knowing sweetie… but don’t worry…
                        It is not flashy because we know you would not like that.
                        We can visit the place tomorrow so you can familiarize yourself when you
                        get back here ok?

Taemin:           (looks at his parents and smiles, then hugs Jessica and Heechul) Thanks Auntie…
                        Uncle… I greatly appreciate it…

Heechul:          (smiles) That is not all… wait…let’s switch off some lights…

Upon switching off some lights, Heechul picks up a remote control thus a wall opens revealing a huge empty but meticulously designed room... then Heechul continues saying...

“Taeminnie… here is Bummie’s gift for you…”

Suddenly a transparent screen appears showing various models of cars and motorbikes each made of outstanding quality, further Heechul says...

“Choose according to your liking…”

Taemin in full shock ends gaping, looks at Sooyoung and Leeteuk and says in a choking manner…

“hhmmm… Auntie… Uncle… Bummie… ho-how is he?”

Jessica:           (sighs) He is fine dear… Bummie has been very busy since day one… good thing
                        Mr. Taeyang was with him during his early days of transfer… 
                        (smiles) don’t worry dear… he has not forgotten about you and Minnie…
                        (points at the screen) so which one do you like?

Taemin:           (puckers his lips) Auntie… Uncle… I will accept simply because if I don’t,
                        Bummie might be upset…
                        (sighs) a motorbike is suitable for me coz I think I am still too young to be driving
                         one of those.. don’t you think?

Heechul:          (laughs) oh… okey then…

Taemin:           How can I thank Bummie?

Just as Jessica opens her lips to reply, she is interrupted by a call…

“Hold on dear… one moment”…

she picks up the phone and answers the receiver,

“oh… he is here?”

and turns to Heechul and says,

“Honey, he is here”…

Heechul:          That is good; please ask them to send him here so they could see him…
                        Hyung … Noona… excuse us for a while..

Jessica:           Sure… hon…
                        (turns to face Sooyoung and Leeteuk) Eonnie.. Teukkie… could you excuse us 
                        for just a minute…

Sooyoung:       (confused) Oh… don’t worry…

Leeteuk:          (nods) yeah… go ahead…
