She found herself skipping down the grey hallway that were draped with deep purple curtains. Her dress fluttered around her small frame; her shoes against the floor echoed through the hallways. There was never anyone to play with or talk to. She was the only child in the kingdom.

tck.....tck....tck.....she slowed as a strange noise began to echo. It was coming from a window ahead. She ran to it and looked out over the garden filled with dark purple, almost black, devil flowers. What she saw surprised her. A boy that appeared a little older than her was throwing rocks at the window. He looked at her gave a wicked smile; turned and ran. A he went an ominous laugh occurred. Leaving a meory she would never forget.
