For the uptempth time I groaned and nods my head when once again, NamJoon ask me the exactly same question, doubtful crease evident on his forehead. After running away from the danger, JungKook immediately called his friends and told me to tell everything to them, all of it since my encounter with Nara in the hallway to my escaped through the forest, ing all of it and yet, here they are, doubting my story. I gritted my teeth out of frustration when NamJoon exchanging glances with his older brother from across the room where he just stood in silent, leaning his back on the bookshelf through my story,
I let out a heavy sigh when the pregnant silence continued, slapping HoSeok hands from my side as he tended my wounds. I start growled in annoyance “I know what I heard, and if those shady threats from Nara wasn’t enough,” I hissed, earning their attention as I continued “clearly, I have witness, I could get Ahn SoHee for you jerks!”,
Yoongi frowned “whoa easy there my dear! We didn’t say that we don’t believe you” he said with palm in front of his chest but from the looks on his friends, its clearly state they still doubting my stories and I glared at the second oldest, “sure you are” I spat venomously. SeokJin messaged his nose bridge and opened his mouth to say something but the grand door opened even before he make his words and TaeHyung strolled inside the library with a deep scowls on his face, arms covered with black bloods,
Two black eyes shifted at me and I bite my lips at the intense glares he sent me before the silent broke by a loud bark and our attention pulled towards the gigantic wolf that stood not so far behind the boy. Nox advanced forward as soon as he spotted me and nudge his large head on my wounded stomach. I smiled, you did great Nox, my life saver, you did great, thank you so much,
“what did you do this time? Athere's at least a dozen of that creatures hunting you down”, TaeHyung cold voice brought me back from my thought and I looked up at him, frowning at his wild accusation, “I done nothing, did you really think that I deliberately set those Shifters onto my neck?! I still loves my life! No matter how ty it is” I scoff, glaring back at him bravely. Hello? I literally just got myself out of the death hole and in no mood for his one sided judgement, how could he be such a jerk at a time like this is beyond me,
TaeHyung rolled his eyes “whatever, you owe me one, remember that” he said as he walk towards one of the couch and slumped down beside Jimin whose immediately scooted away from his friend blood covered body, complaining that he’s reeks,
“Tae, did you get something from them? Why did they after her or in this case, who wants her dead” SeokJin ask after a few second silence and his youngest brother just shrugged his shoulders “nope, I kill them all” he simply said, making me dropped my jaws and few defeated sighs from his hyungs and friends. They looked like  they’ve already expected this and the way they mumbling a soft “I knew it” and “again!?”, I could say this isn’t the first reckless act TaeHyung pulled,
NamJoon groaned as he threw his hands up above his head out of frustration “for god sakes, just how many times I have to tell you to at least let one live to be interrogated?! Now we wont have any lead to why they wanted JooYeon dead!” he exclaimed out loud but TaeHyung just roll his eyes at his older brother dramatic flare, “why else? They’re not the only one that hates her to begin with” he coldly stated and his friends gasped while I winced at his statement. Ouch,

Slightly taken aback at his sudden outburst, my eyes widened for a second before squinted into a line as I scowled back in disbelief at him, slightly hurt at the way he indirectly sided with the person that wanted me death instead of believing me which is his rightful mate, and whose also happened to be the victim in this matter, “I’ve told your friends everything TaeHyung, my stepmother planned this, Nara planned this! She wants nothing but my death!” I said, voice raised an octave at the end of my sentence, frustration written all over my face while the rest of the boys watch me exploded in silence. TaeHyung scowls deepened than it already is as he jumped from his seat to grab onto my neck but Nox acted faster, leaping in front of me and growled dangerously even before anyone could muster something to halt the raging boy before me. Nox show his feral teeth in dangerous snarl which is dripping with the blood of his previous preys as two silver orbs flashes sharply at TaeHyung,
Took one more step and you’ll lose your precious hands, my Soul seeker sent the message, practically glowered threateningly at TaeHyung as he unconsciously took a step back instead. I thought they are at least in a good terms now seeing how they fought together earlier and they seems act more civil towards each other just now, but maybe they don’t?,
Collecting himself back, TaeHyung look up to meet my gaze again as he speak coldly “like you’ve already know, many people wants you dead,” he use my words against me and I clenched my fists,
“so don’t go around accusing Nara when you have no evidence to solidify your accusation” he finished the blow while I felt my palm start to bleed from how hard I clench them,
I looked down on to the floor, stuffed with emotions and having a hard time to breath, I tried to muster a comeback to cover how much his words affected me but I got cut off even before I could open my mouth by SeokJin voice -whose finally have enough of the heavy atmosphere- “whatever it is, we’ll look it up, I think its enough for today, we’ll report this to the council first thing tonight and found the perpetrator, whoever did this, targeting one of thrones heirs was a serious crime, no matter what the reason is” he said calmly before stared at me while smiling as he continued “lets clean you up and tuck you to bed for now, you look exhausted Angel, don’t worry, you’re safe now, Jimin, could you take her to her room, please”,
Tired of everything, and surely have no more energy to fight back, I just let Jimin scoop me into his muscular arms and carry me towards my room with Nox trailed behind, tail held up high arrogantly as he following us, but not before sending each one of the boys nasty looks. Especially TaeHyung,
I let myself slipped into the restless sleep with Jimin’s bitter sweet presence engulfing me.

 

*** Darkness, scary cackles, cold wind
I found myself panting as I keep running through the seemingly infinite abyss around me, desperately trying to get away from those horrifying laughter that keeps coming closer behind me. I felt my eyes brimmed in tears as I gasp for air,
“get away from me!” I cried when a shadow reached for me and keep running. Ironic, I know, I control shadows but yet here I am running away from them. Pathetic,
“stop!” I cried again but the cackles just got louder every time I begs, this darkness seems closing in on me and I felt claustrophobic,
Pushing my body forward, I quickened my pace then my cry turn into a yelps when the grounds I stepped on crumbled and I free falling before someone catch me. I look up to say my gratitude and JungKook’s face greeted me, I smiled thankfully but before I even get the chance to say anything, his face twisted and turn into one of those Shifters face, sharp yellowed teeth, rugged face with scale skin and white dull eyes without pupils. The Shifters cracked one sinister smile before it spoke in it’s hollow voice that make hair on the back of my neck stood instantly,
“why such a hurry little bird?, come play with us”, and with that, more and more Shifters shows up around us as I gasps, struggling to get away from the hideous creatures while the one that grasping me cackled menacingly, tightening its grips on me,
The Shifters then look down on me and grinned, showing its yellowed teeth before its face twist again and transformed into my Stepmother face as she smirked evilly “now, how would you desired your death JooYeon?”,
I shrieked in horror and opened my eyes with a gasp.

 

*** Panting heavily, I looked wildly around the dimmed room as if trying to located the threat and search for my Stepmother shadow in each corner then let out raged breath when I finally grasped the situation,
I’m safe
Its just a nightmare
I covered my face in both hands to muffle sets of sobs that keep surge out of my lips as the aftermath of the horrible nightmare. After a few minute trying to calm my racing heart, I wipe the cold sweat that formed on my forehead slowly. I literally covered in sweat, even my shirt stick onto my damp skin and I shake my head lightly “what a dream” mumbling to myself, I climb down from the bed and walk out of the room, tip-toeing around Nox’s sleeping figure as he snored lightly in his sleep. I find my way down towards the kitchen to grab some water as my throat felt quite dry and its burning. Speaking of which, I remember, I haven’t take bloods for awhile now,
I’ll just ask for a bag of it later or something, I’m sure they could at least provide me one
Trailing off of thought while pouring the water into the glass, I quickly take it then turn my heels to head back into my room before a shadow catch my sight and I halted my steps, standing straight in the middle of the hallway, “whose there?” I called,
The shadow moved slightly and I took a step back, cursing my lack of sight while silently conjuring my own shadows around me if the creatures -whatever it is- make a sudden attack before a calm familiar voice make me dropped all my defensive mode,
“Angel? What are you doing still up? I thought you were sleeping?” SeokJin worriedly said as he stepped out of the shadow and I let out a relieved sigh. I guess after all those Nightmares I’ve been through, everything’s seems frightful in my eyes,
He reach for my damp forehead and swipe the sweats away gently before cupping my cheeks in both hands as I leaned to the touch then close my eyes, “what happen?” he ask, pulling me closer and I opened my eyes to look at his frowning face. Under the dim light, I could trace the structure of his face -Gosh, he’s so beautiful- and strangely, I felt myself calmed down under his affectionate gaze. Well that’s new,
“Bad dream?” he finally guessed after the long pause and again, I said nothing but nodding anyway, biting my bottom lip awkwardly being embarrassed of our position as we standing so close in the middle of the dark hallway with breath fanning each other faces,
SeokJin sighed then circled his arms around my waist and I fell right on to his chest with a slight ‘huff’, “I told you, you’re safe now, no one would ever harm you here, I wont let them” he said, I nods again, holding back my sarcastic comments about one particular brother of his as they threatened to out of my mouth. Lets not ruined this peaceful moment,
After a few minutes staying in that position, he finally break the silent as he pull away. I groaned unwillingly at the space he put between us and SeokJin chuckled “come, I’ll take you to tour bedroom, its still early, the sun’s still up and you need the sleeps”, I pouted at his words as I clutch on his shirt, stopping him from dragging me away to my room. He lift questioning eyebrow at me,
I shake my head slightly before spoke in a whisper -swallowing my pride as I did so- “I don’t want to”, SeokJin brows vanished up to his bangs as he shoot me curious look. Damn, why is it so awkward?!,
