After what seems like eternity of bawling her eyes out, JooYeon fell asleep in Jimin’s arms. Tired of pouring all her frustration in that one time, not caring if its her bigest bully that cradling and calming her with soothing voice, the only thing she care about was how to emptying all the pent up frusrtation she felt the whole month prior, she needs comfort, a shoulders to cry on, and Jimin provide that,
Looking down at the sleeping girl on his right shoulder, Jimin felt a little smile crept up on his face as he wipe her damp cheeks from all the trail of tears that previously streamed down non stop like a stream of river, JooYeon let out a slight whimper as he did so before snuggled closer on the crook of his neck and Jimin tighten his holds, whispering a calming words right on to the girl's ear as she calmed down and the peaceful silence dawned upon her face. Jimin plant a light peck onto her hair before a muffled sounds from outside the infirmary door caught his attention back and he remembered the eavesdropper that bugging him ever since the time JooYeon feed on his emotions earlier. He knows that they are obviously not alone but paid no attention and JooYeon clearly too occupied to notice that their private time has been over heard by someone outside. So now that everything’s done, its time to acknowledge the person,
Looking straight to the white door, Jimin called “you can come in now Tae”,
Indeed, the second Jimin calm voice heard, the brown haired boy yanked the door open and walked in, face void of all emotion as he stared at the two on the bed blankly while stepped closer until he reach them,
“glad you have enough wits to wait instead of interupting” Jimin said with a playful wink to his closests friend as he trying to ease the unspoken tense atmosphere between them since TaeHyung came, as well as shading the fact of how grateful he is that TaeHyung decided to stay silent when JooYeon feed earlier, who knows what she would do if being interupted in the middle of her feeding time where she fully controlled by her instinct. Jimin himself, would surely tore the intruder throat open, who knows what would a half-vampire with Reaper blood do if interupted,
Ignoring his friend playful remarks, TaeHyung stuck his gaze onto the sleeping girl in Jimin’s arms with a deep frowns on his forehead “she almost kill you” he stated in a slight whispers, but they both know that Jimin could hear him just fine and true that, the later just sigh as he ran his hand through his hair before answering “can we discuss about this later? She’s sleeping”,
TaeHyung shift his glares to the black haired boy and Jimin shakes his head lightly “please Tae, let just this one slip, I’ll bring up what happens today when the times right, in the mean time, keep it secret from the other” he said, asking for his friend approval before the looks on TaeHyung face make him growled in disbelief. He told them of the matter already, didn't he?, Jimin thought in dissapointment mentally,
“you can tell them now, because they already on their way here” TaeHyung confirmed his unspoken suspicion and smirked at the same time the door slammed open and raging JungKook and their hyungs stepped inside,
“explain this before I ing kill you Park Jimin!”
Jimin pouted under the maknae threatening glares while TaeHyung victorius smirk stay on his lips until the time they reach the Royal castle.

 

*** Groaning under my breath, I cracked my eyes open slightly before winced over the sudden light that came throught the bright lighted room. Where am I?, I thought in silence as my eyes slowly adjusted to the light and took in my surrounding before a sudden realization dawned upon me like a lightning struck, I shot up,
The infirmary, hunger, glowing orbs,
Park Jimin’s soul
I gasps when a sharp pain stung trough my skull at my sudden movements and I winced, hand shot immediately to message the pained spot before a knocks brought my attention towards the door and I alarmed,
A head full of mahogany mess of hair peeked inside and I recognized the boy right away, his bright happy-go-lucky face has been a familiar sight for me already, except there’s no happy evidence on them right now. I watch him stepped inside in a short strides untill he finally stood beside the side table, just one step away from me. From the way he stood rigid, I knew immediately why he act that way,
“are you the one who brought me here HoSeok?” I ask in a hoarse voice and the said boy jolted slightly on his feet as he heard me before calmed himself. If its in the past, I would found myself laughed my heads off at the way he seems scared at my slightest acts but now, I only feel disturbed and horrible when I saw him frozen stiff in my presence. I knew exactly why’d he felt that way as me too, scared of myself,
HoSeok saw the crease on my brows then tried to relaxed as he took a step closer towards me, putting down a tray of foods, a bag of blood and water -that I haven’t yet realized until now- on top of the bed side table gently before turn to look at me, little smile appeared on his face now but I could still felt his awareness raked around him, “Jimin and Yoongi hyung insisted to bring you here with us as we can’t just leave you like that in the infirmary” he answered after a few second silent. I sigh when I saw him keep an arm length distance between us,
“you know you can just leave if you're that scared of me, I won't blame you, not after what I almost did to Jimin” I finally said the unspoken reasons, telling him that I know just what makes him uncomfortable correctly and he gaped, surprised at how I adressed them bluntly like that before finally realized that he’s staring and shake his head slightly,
“no, I’m sorry” he said in a slight shaky voice and I chuckled humorlessly, shaking my own head at his pathetic attempt to cover his nervousness. “you can’t lie to me HoSeok, I can feel your defensiveness, you terrifed of me, you reeks of it, I understand”, HoSeok frowned before bravely sit on the bed beside me, face mask of determination and I lift an eyebrow,
“no, I'm just being my cowardice self again, I'm easily scared of everything, not only you and besides, how would I earn your trust if I would be this scared every time I knew you feed on me or one of my friends” he stated assuringly, My breath hitched at his words,
I clenched my fists in anger “but you should, you have the right to scared of me, to hate me because you, Nara, Mina and the rest of our school student body was right all along! I’m a freak, a monster!” I histerically speak, on the sheet as I angrily stared down before adding in a whisper “I almost steal your friend soul”. Silence engulfed us both before I heard HoSeok talk in a calm voice, breaking the torturous moment,
“but you didn’t”, I whip my head to him at this and gaped when I see him casually shrugs his shoulders -all his fear was detached, replaced by new found confidence-, he's back to his originally bright optimistic self now. I frowned and open my mouth to talk back “I almost kill-”, but HoSeok cut me off with his own stubborn comeback,
“JungKook could kill you that time you gave him your blood, seeing how hungry and dangerous he is that time, but you gave it to him anyway right? Despite of knowing well what could happen if he lose control by just a slight slip,” he said, pausing for a second to take my hand and squeeze in calming manner before continued “that’s exactly what Jimin did, he know the risk and willingly take it, he’s seriously tried to pay for every bad deeds he did to you in the past”,
I snatch my hand away from him and instantly regretted my decision as I saw the hurt flashed momentarily through his eyes but keep going anyway “this is a different thing HoSeok, I could kill any of you, and without you realizing it, you could say that because you haven't experience it yourself, I’m a monster”,
At my stubborness, HoSeok sigh tiredly as he turn his face away to look at particularly nothing as we fall into silent. In this quiteness, I could heard a slight muffled noise came through the walls from downstairs and my ears perked in curiousity. What’s happened there? And where’s all the other boys, considering this is undoubtedly the Royal castle, I'm sure they're somewhere here, I wonder why haven't they came rushing in to kill me for almost steal their friend’s soul,
I keep on staring ahead of me blankly, drown in my own thought before HoSeok’s soft voice heard after the pregnant silence and I turn my head to face him, drowning as I take in the looks on his face and or the first time in the whole twelve years we knew each other, I doubt that I’ve ever knew Jung HoSeok at all. No trace of of usual brightness in his eyes as he spoke darkly in riddle,
“you’re not the real monster here JooYeon-ahh”

 

*** For the uptempth time since they walk in to the room, Jimin fisted on his hair out of frustration. They act as if I’m making a huge mistakes!, he screamed mentally when SeokJin throw him -yet again- disapproval looks,
“I get it you wanted to help Jimin-ahh, but you pushed her, you jeopardizing your safety!” NamJoon pointed out hastily. As soon as they reached their home, the boys start demanding the full story right away after sending HoSeok to look after JooYeon in the room upstairs as he’s the only one whose calm enough to face the girl if she wake up, the other boys was either too shocked or angry at Jimin right now, didn’t quite understand why would the boy risk his life like that,
“TaeHyung was exaggerating it hyung! I have the whole thing under control!” Jimin start to whine at this point because no matter how much he convincing them they won’t accept his reasons, especially JungKook, whose now standing across the room with crossed arms
