  Her brown hair was pulled up into a messy bun, sweat matting it all together beyond repair, but she couldn't care. Her eyes, resting on the three pregnancy tests on her dorm's sink was what she chose to care about. A knock sounded against the door of the bathroom and she bit hard on her lip, taking the three pregnancy tests and hiding them behind her back before opening the door. Her younger sister appeared into view, along with her other group mates, concerned expressions on their faces. 

"Hailey, what is it?" Ashley, her younger sister asked, her big and bright eyes showing concerned beyond words. She couldn't accept it, she just...

How come I've never seen you before?

You certainly do not look familiar, but you seem better than the familiar faces around. Want a drink?

Wow-oh. Maybe we should lay the drinks down, no? You haven't told me your name.

Hailey. With an I, instead of a Y.

Well then, my name is Kai, with an I, instead of a Y.

  Hailey raised her hand to her head, allowing the members to see the pregnancy tests as memories flooded her mind.

You're beautiful. So beautiful.

This is probably the last time we will meet, should we take advantage of it?

"It's positive?" Claire asked, walking over before being pulled back by Sun, who noticed before anyone did, how Hailey lost consciousness and was on her way to the ground.

  She was carrying a child. She, a female idol, was carrying a male idol's child. Hailey, of wildly hated and struggling girl group NYX, was carrying the child of Kai, of wildly loved and succesful boy group EXO.

That was not the plan. The members thought, it was just supposed to be a dating scandal... Their CEO only said it would be a dating scandal, not this.

"Kai, you've been called today here to discuss the current scandal that Miss Kim, from Bright Entertainment, and yourself, have been involved in." His manager spoke from besides him, he sat with his back straight, asking himself many questions. There was no way a picture someone from the other guests was a paparazzi, they were all idols and phones were confiscated at the entrance. The only way to take pictures was through the photographers hired for the occasion, who signed contracts to keep pictures that could harm any of the idols and destroy them. Idols themselves couldn't dare to do anything harmful towards each other, much less inside that party...

  Secret Affair Party was something kept between idol companies, idols and organizers, everything that happened inside, stayed inside. Nothing could be told, otherwise you could be blacklisted from actual activities as idols. What happened in there was meant to be forgotten as soon as they walked out of the building. Drugs, alcohol and were the norm in the party.

He wouldn't forget. He couldn't pretend to not know her because he did.

  He knew her. He made love to her had with her and woke up next to her the next day. He didn't know how his fellow idols did it, but that was the first time he had done that at the party, and he just couldn't brush it aside and pretend it never happened.

  They would bring Hailey in, he knew his company and the things they would be capable of, they would release a carefully worded statement, which would make Hailey seem at fault.

"Kai, respond." 

"You all know what happened, why pretend you are all unfamiliar with it?" Kai asked, looking up to meet the eyes of the staff. "I wrote down all the things I did in the report, so you all know very well that I saw her dancing on the stage, drank a little then...had... with her." It had been much easier to write all of those things down, yet no one around him flinched.

"We know, but do you have any idea of how the pictures were released?" The pictures, he had seen them, it showed them clearly and netizens were quick to find Hailey. She was trending and that wasn't always good. 

"I don't." He answered, leaning back against his seat. The phone in the middle of the table rang and his manager answered the call.

"We asked to not be interrupted, Junghwa." He spoke to the main desk secretary, placing the call on speaker for everyone to hear.

"I know that, but Bright Entertainment called and asked if they could have the meeting canceled." Junghwa responded, clearly annoyed at the manager's dismissive tone. Many sighed in annoyance and others scoffed at the nerve of the small company.

"They are still on the line, want me to patch the call through?"

"Please."

"In a minute." Junghwa said, placing her phone down and taking the call from Bright Entertainment's manager again, explaining everything and just a minute after, he was connected to the conference room.

"Mr. Ahn, if I'm not wrong? This is Mr. Noh, EXO's Kai's manager."

"Yes, hello. We're sorry we can't make it to the meeting, can we have it tomorrow?" Ahn asked, watching Hailey as she rested on her bunk bed; she was awake, but her eyes were on the ceiling of her bunk bed, mind reeling against her. Making her hate herself as she kept remembering all of the events that led to her current state. How could she fix it?

"Mr. Ahn, you're truly in no position to reschedule this meeting. Kai is very busy and will probably not be availabe after today. What is the reason for canceling the meeting?" Noh was growing impatient, he really had no time for this kind of games from a small, struggling and unknown company.

"I really cannot say, Mr. No-." A crash, that was soon followed by a thump shocked the staff members of SM Entertainment and Kai, it was not inside their conference room, it was across the line -Mr. Ahn's side.

"Hailey!" The phone was dropped, but the call wasn't cut; everyone could hear clearly, especially Kai. 

He leaned forward on his seat, a frown on his face as his eyes focused on the phone, waiting for the next sound and really wishing he could somehow appear where she was. What was wrong?

"Take me to the hospital." Kai heard her voice, her slightly accented Korean, smooth and quite gentle voice. Yet her voice sounded unstable, not like she were crying, but there was something.

"You're bleeding, of course I will!" The manager said, taking a shirt he found laying on the ground and covering Hailey's hands, which bled heavily, staining the wood floors of the dorm room.

"No, I don't care about the stupid bleeding!" Kai closed his eyes, leaning back against his seat and sinking deep into it, covering his eyes with a hand. A hand that had touched Hailey, gentle and caring, now he didn't feel he did that for her. He felt he had taken advantage of her. His heart hammered against his chest and he started sweating under his coat, thing his manager grew to notice.

"Kai, what's wrong?"

"End the call." He whispered, not wanting to confirm his worst fear.

"Why would we-?"

"Hyung, end the damned call." He said, his tone alarming as the silence on the other end of the line had his mind reeling.

"Hailey..."

"I don't want to have this baby!" Hailey screamed and Kai took a sharp breath as the conference room around him grew silent.
