Description

Kang Seulgi wants to be popular, but the problem she's facing is that she's in her third and last year of high school, which gives her almost no time to build up her social connections. In order to achieve the popularity she desires, she has to win the school's popularity contest, which is held before graduation. So what's her secret weapon to gaining popularity in the span of a year?

Her answer: Getting Jung Soojung—the observant loner who knows how the social system works—involved in this amusing mess.

Author's Note: I'm pretty sure that having five on-going fanfics around this time of the year isn't the best idea for me, but I really wanted to post this story, even though I don't have a really good base structure for it.

This was inspired by one of my fanfics I wrote many years ago, Unfair Popularity. I was reading through this story, and something caught my attention. I already knew that my earlier stories and all, but for this one, I remember what I was feeling when I was writing this story. And I've just got to say, I'm quite disappointed with that story. I remember the burning passion I had when I wrote that story, and unfortunately, that feeling was not expressed well or at all. So every time I scroll around and see that story, I get very irritated and recently decided to rewrite it. The plot and characters are very different, but the message I want to convey will still be here (hopefully).

Chapter 46: I was hooked to this fanfiction for about three weeks and I must say that I thought clichés would make it boring, but every twist was amazing! Even an open ending like this fits perfectly into the story, so I congratulate you and thank you for creating this masterpiece!!

Chapter 46: The ending is outright amazing, the whole story leaves me in awe. I was hooked the WHOLE time and it's clear that you put in a lot of effort into writing this story :D I felt like Seulgi should have ended up with Sehun from the beggening so yay :) I didn't expect Hyeri and Jackson to fully forgive(or forgive at all) Seulgi. Youngji is an angel, she is so forgiving, selfless, and innocent ^^ I am so, so happy I came across this because I loved this story. This was the happyish sadish ending I was looking for, thank you!

Chapter 46: ah, what a great ending. am I selfish to expecting a sequel? HAHA nvm anyway it ends exactly like I wanted to feel, the not-so-happy-nor-sad tears from every character. After all, it's life, soon all the high school problems seems don't matter and we'll laugh about it anyway. I sincerely love your story, thank youu for delivering us such a good moral value haha. I'm looking forward for your other stories!
